Always a pleasure to use Air France it’s a very efficient company

Straight forward and easy to organise our flights, as always. Have flown with Air France many times and always find them a quality company to deal with.

Booked a flight to LAX through Virgin. Unfortunately they put us on a flight with Air France. My fiancé's ESTA wasn't showing up on their system so they wouldn't let us on the flight, as they could get a fine. A fine for what? We were showing you the approved ESTA in person but because your system couldnt find it you wouldn't let us on the flight? Luckily we did book through Virgin, as we went to their customer services and they got us on their own flight direct to LAX at no extra cost. They managed to find the ESTA on their system with no problems. LAX was a stop on our way to Hawaii and we had a connecting flight that we also managed to catch thanks to Virgin. We were going to Hawaii to get married and the thought that we were going to have to cancel it because of a system error made me absolutely distraught. Especially after having it cancelled 2 times previously due to covid. I have never flown with Air France before and will never attempt to in the future. They also said I had to check in my wedding dress to be put in cargo despite it being within size and weight requirements for carry on. Despite us being the first in the queue to check in 3.5 hours before our flight at 6.20am. You took so long to figure out what to do and told us to keep waiting around incase the ESTA showed up that you ended up not having the space in your plane for my wedding dress. That's not my fault. And the way we were treated was disgusting. No sympathy. No explanation. And when we were finally told the cut off had passed, we were told to leave like we were no longer you problem. I consider ourselves quite lucky that we didn't get on that flight, as I imagine you would have lost our luggage too which would have been especially awful if you had my wedding dress and my Fiancé's suit. Instead Virgin were understanding, sympathetic and even upgraded our seats.

Nice easy to use website. Got everything i wanted including E tickets effortlessly in a few minutes. Easy to use up some pre pandemic airmiles as well.

My flight was cancelled one day before flying. 7th february. Was promised refund within 40 days, nothing. Given further dates many times, still no refund. 4 months, 15 calls later, promises and lies, still no refund.
I urge you to choose another airline, if anything goes wrong then forget your refund.
I will be campaigning tirelessly on social media warning others of my awful time with air france.
Avoid.

Found my flights on the dates and at the times I wanted, booked the seats, luggage and preferences all in the same place.
Paid for them on their secure page.
No other 'cheap flight web site' was cheaper.
Excellent service and easy website to use.

I have been waiting 10 weeks now for a refund (voucher). I have written to them several times to chase this up. When I wrote at 7 weeks, I was told they had bulk requests they are dealing with! It is now 10 weeks, with no refund from them.

Horrific customer service. Avoid!

Seamless online booking until it came to payment. Then I was not permitted to procede. I tried lots of ways but it would not permit me to enter the 12 figure card number.
I finally decided to start from scratch and this attempt was successful.

Just booked a one way flight from Cuba to Manchester for a friend. Website was easy to get around and the process was straightforward. Bought the Flex option which allows changes and cancellation and also added extra legroom. These added substantially to the overall cost but it's a long flight and comfort is essential.

Return flights for 3 passengers from UK to France in December 2021 cancelled due to covid. Requested voucher but have not received anything after five months waiting. Tried repeatedly to contact customer services without success. Why does it take so long. The only credible explanation is that Air France have made a deliberate corporate decision not to issue vouchers. Disgusting and criminal.

I am 2.03 mts and overweight. My wife has a bad knee and we have 2 small kids. We purchased front row seating in Economy and were bump to second row with no explanation why. So we were squeezed and suffered through our 10+ hr flight. I called many days ahead to get this sorted but no one was able to move us back to the seat I purchased. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WILL NOT RECOMMEND!!

Online checkin results in need to collect boarding pass from the Airport at a time when both Dublin Airport and Air France checkin desks are on utter chaos due to Easter rush and staff shortages. Why on earth would they not encourage online boarding passes to reduce pressure on 3 hour queues to checkin???

They took my money but I had no ticket and did not fly with them. Impossible to get refund as I am not a customer you end up in a kafkaesque situation. Truly terrible experience

A fantastic passenger experience from check in at MAN to CDG on Sat 26th March at 06.05. At all levels,Air France were exceptional in customer service. Namely. professional,knowledgeable, polite and courteous coupled with a great sense of humour. I have to particularly mention one stewardess who was deeply caring and will never be forgotten. Thank you Air France.

Nobody wants a refund, but when you need one you want a clear and simple and positive experience - this is exactly what I got from AF web site (though the phone number did not work...)
