Products were fine
Products were fine. Admittedly I ordered 1/3 incorrect items. I wanted to purchase the correct additional part from them, and asked if I could return the wrong item. This was only just outside of their 2 week return window and they refused to accommodate a return, even though I wanted to purchase another more expensive product. Seemed pretty unreasonable, wouldn't recommend them.

We bought a portable ac unit 12 months…
We bought a portable ac unit 12 months ago. It was used 3-4 times in that 1 year period and then it developed an electrical fault and would not turn on. This was within the 2 year warranty period. The warranty card from DeLonghi states that a repair or replacement should be provided within the 2 year warranty period. The air con center were good to respond to us but we're not willing to offer repair or replacement. I agreed to assessment for a refund as this was the only option given to me. It was not made clear that it would be a partial refund calculated by how long I had owned the unit. So essentially I was left without an ac unit and only half my money back. I would not have agreed to the refund if I knew it was only 50% this felt very misleading as it does not mention this int he warranty and it was not disclosed before sending the unit back. I would have tried to organize my own local repair. I feel conned.

We're sorry to read your review and appreciate how disappointing this situation has been.
As a retailer, we're unable to carry out repairs ourselves. Unfortunately, due to the exceptionally high seasonal demand for portable air conditioners, we had no replacement stock available to offer. As your unit was over six months old, the partial refund offered was calculated in line with the Consumer Rights Act, taking into account the period of use and the remaining warranty.
We're sorry this wasn't made clear before the refund was processed. However, this was the only resolution we were able to offer as the retailer under the warranty and the Consumer Rights Act in the circumstances.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and are sorry we couldn't provide the outcome you were hoping for.

The service was very fast
The service was very fast. I ordered my aircon unit on the afternoon and it came first thing the following morning. The unit itself is great. It does exactly what I want. The only reason I didn’t give 4 stars was because I emailed them prior to my purchase asking when they were getting more stock as they had sold out completely. The answer I got was they won’t get any until next year. It’s only because on the off chance I looked on the website that I noticed a week or two later they had stock. This annoyed me somewhat, because I feel like I was lied too. Everything else was great.

At the time of your enquiry, we had completely sold out, and the limited stock that later appeared on the website came from customer orders that had been cancelled and only recently returned to us by the courier. As this stock becomes available unexpectedly, we're not notified in advance that it will be returning. We do advise customers to sign up for our Notify Me emails, as these are updated as soon as stock becomes available. We completely understand your frustration, and we appreciate your honest feedback ⭐
