This is a great car hire company who went out of their way to help with our arrangements. No hidden costs and a great service. I will definitely recommend Adobe to anyone travelling to Costa Rica.

This company is great. I had so much anxiety which one to choose. Adobe came to pick us up from a hotel. The car was pretty new, looking only a few years in use. The return was quick without any problems. The car was pretty dirty after using for 10 days with 2 kids. We didn’t know if we have to wash it before returning, since the traffic was bad we didn’t. They were cool about it. If you get a letter from your credit card that proves extra coverage for LDW, SPP and TPDW you can decline it through them, which makes it cheaper. It has to have your name on it. Credit card benefits department will know what you need.

I recently rented a car with them. I was having issues in the past, and I was a little bit hesitant with the new experience.

It was excellent, with great service, friendly staff, good communications, and clean cars. Awesome experience!

Great service, new cars and very friendly staff. Plus, they have offices in all main tourist towns so if you run into some kind of problem they will respond quick. I've rented several times and no complains.

I had my concerns about car rentals in Costa Rica due the comments I have read, mainly with local companies; but took the chance with Adobe, what a breath of fresh air! Respectful staff, great service from the airport to the desk, quick paperwork and no pushing service. Got we asked for and quoted for. As an expat, I will use them again while living in the country!

Rente carro en Adobe en diciembre 2022, me dieron la facilidad de recogerlo en una sede e ir a entregarlo en otra sede. Fueron muy permisivos con problemas que tuve relacionados a mi trabajo y el apoyo fue incondicional. 100% recomendado.

Excelente servicio recomendado 100%, en todo el país es la mejor rent a car, hace poco alquilé un vehículo en Liberia y muy satisfecha ya que siempre solicito los alquileres en Puntarenas. Siempre conté con el acompañamiento de doña Marcela Muñoz!

We booked a mid-sized suv 4x4 with apple play. I wanted this to link our phones for music and directions. We arrived after about 15 minutes waiting for a shuttle and then 10 minutes of getting to the car rental premises. They took payment $1000 for 7 days. We asked them if we bought it back a day early how that would work. They said it would be fine and that they would shuttle us to our local hotel that we booked so we’d be closer to the airport the night before we flew. All seemed good… then we were given our vehicle, small, no apple play, no reverse camera, and although 4x4 not the correct tires. The headlights were not straight so the driver couldn’t see properly. The car was very underpowered! In returning the vehicle they did not refund the extra day and then wouldn’t shuttle us to the hotel as promised. So we sat luggage and all for 40 minutes waiting for a taxi. Don’t waste your time booking here unless you want to get ripped off.

Normalmente no escribo reseñas en ningún lugar pero en esta ocasión tuvo que ser diferente. Durante mi último Alquiler en Adobe, en dos ocasiones tuve que utilizar el servicio de transporte (shuttle), y en una de esas ocasiones yo estaba bastante atrasado. Alberto,el chofer hizo todo lo posible para poder esperarme y ayudarme para poder llegar a tiempo. Esto ha marcado una gran diferencia entre Adobe y otras empresas que tienen personal entrenado, pero nunca pensando en las verdaderas necesidades de sus clientes. Esto para mi pesa mucho a la hora de escoger un proveedor de servicios, donde trabajan personas que aman su trabajo y no robots.

Después de habernos llevado malas experiencias con otro rent a car donde primero nos dieron un muy buen precio, pero al pagar agregaron cargos adicionales que casi duplicaron el monto inicial, la experiencia con Adobe fue refrescante. Lo que pagamos fue exactamente el mismo monto de la cotización!! Ademas, cero complicaciones!

We were greeted at Limon Airport and you representive agent explained everything to us. The procedure was very smooth and will use again.

I have rented from several companies in CR and had few good experiences and some bad ones. First time with Adobe and I was impressed from beginning to end. Communication was easy, not sticker shock (common in CR). The car was excellent (clean, reliable and more than what I expected). Check in and check out were smooth with no surprises.
Had one hick-up with the wifi, but that was settled quickly without any squabbles.
Will certainly come back to them.

Rented a 4x4 in Costa Rica. Slightly older car but clean. Customer experiences on both vehicle collection and drop off were stress free. They found us a black tarpaulin when I complained at the lack of luggage cover in the boot/trunk. Would rent from them again.

We went to Costa Rica on July 19th. We flew in to Liberia airport and were picked up promptly. This was our first time renting from a local company. We rented a midsize vehicle. The vehicle in itself was older. Which I guess was ok. We recorded a video of the car while viewing it with the agent for any prior damage. Thank God we did. When we returned the vehicle the agent said there was dent on the hood. We told them it was already there prior to our rental. You could tell the two agents knew about the damage. After almost a 15 minute of back and forth conversations we remembered that we had recorded a video. My husband pulled it up on his phone and showed it to the agents. The agents then didn't say a thing. Please beware before renting from this company.
