You get what you pay for and what I got was good.
From start to finish the process was spot on. Initial email enquiry was answered quickly, impressions arranged and completed promptly. ACS confirmed they had received them and when I could expect the completed in-ear monitors which arrived in that time. The sound quality is good and the fit is comfortable - once I’d worked out which was the left and which was the right. A written guide would have helped - red=right, blue=left. I’m now set for a 10 day motorcycle tour of France with good sounds and comfortable ears. 👍

Buy multiples - don’t expect to change the filters.
Great until you try to change the filters. Be prepared for bruised thumbs and worries about compromised performance.

Thanks for your feedback. Our PRO Series filters are designed to be easily swapped, but products like our Ambient IEMs are not built for interchangeable filters due to their internal configuration. Still awaiting order 2 months later
Currently still awaiting order 2 months later. Limited comms about why. Had to call the impressions taker to chase, and had 1 email since that confirmed, a whole month down the line, that they are with them. It is a month after this and still heard nothing.
Waiting in hope that they materialise and are of the quality the company is reputed for. Can understand with custom orders that it's not exactly Amazon Prime. Still, 2 months plus with limited follow-up seems a bit off...

No communication.
I was unable to find a local business to take impressions (everyone on the ACS list was unable to do it for a variety of reasons.) I contacted ACS about this and received no reply. Also, once the earplugs were paid for, there was no follow up despite not getting the products made.

The rumours was true it seems...
Getting the impressions made was quick and smooth process, waiting for the IEM's to arrive was torture but good things are worth waiting for and I can't believe the difference these have made to practice sessions with and without the band!
I've been told by many drummers that once you go custom, you'll never go back to anything else... they may just be right!

Outstanding Quality and Service from ACS Custom
I have recently taken possession of my first set of in-ear monitors. I looked at various companies which manufacture these, but was drawn to ACS Custom due to the comprehensive information on their web-site. I was also keen on the Ambient range filter and the fact that the pricing was very clear and also included the cost of having the impressions taken.
The process of booking the impressions appointment was so easy. The Audiologist took the impressions and my ACS voucher and had these sent directly to ACS. As this was my first ever set of in-ear monitors, I opted for the entry Evoke2 model.
When I received my order I was extremely impressed with how they arrived. The monitors were provided in a high quality zipped case along with a separate cleaning unit. Both cases were inside a foam lined custom box.
It was a little tricky to insert the monitors at first, although I think it will get easier with time and once I know how to move them into my ear canal. The sound output from them is incredible!! Deep base and clear vocals. If the Evoke2 is their entry level model, I cannot begin to imagine what their higher level models sound like.
Overall, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending ACS Custom for in-ear monitors.

What a HUGE disappointment
I guess it's my fault, expecting that if you pay a premium price, for a premium product, you get a premium service. Unfortunately this is not the case with ACS Custom. Product took 16 weeks (16!) and countless emails to arrive. I would never have started the process if I'd known how difficult it was going to be.

Sent my in ear’s down to ACS for repair and they came back like new. So big thanks for that. It took a little bit longer than I expected to get them back but worth the wait. And repair cost was very reasonable.

Great service
Great service. Took molds in my front room . Got the finished IEMs around 6 weeks later. Perfect fit. I sent them back to change the -17db filter to-21db and literally had them back the next day. Lightning fast service. Would definitely recommend.
