During my visit, Ms. Anna stood out as the only staff member who was truly active, proactive, and customer-focused. She attended to customers with genuine care, patience, and politeness, ensuring that issues were properly listened to and addressed. Her attitude reflected a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to excellent customer service.

An Engaging Journey of Learning and Growth

My experience in the "3MTT Cybersecurity program" was insightful and rewarding. The program provided a solid introduction to cybersecurity fundamentals, including cyber threat awareness, online safety, password protection, phishing identification, and secure digital practices. The learning structure combined guided lessons with practical tasks, which helped me understand how cybersecurity concepts apply in real-world situations.

Unfriendly Customer Service

I have been visiting the Ihama Branch of this bank for a while now on an issue I had on their platform when I tried to buy Glo data but erroneously inputted my MTN number. I was debited but did not get value. The customer service is not a friendly experience and no one takes pleasure in resolving your issues. Responses are given without empathy and it took my 4th visit for me to be told that I have to visit the MTN office. If you have something urgent to do, it is not a bank you want to visit.

Banking with Access Bank feels steady…

Banking with Access Bank feels steady overall. The app runs fine most days, and transfers go through smoothly. There are occasional delays, but customer care usually sorts things out. Not flawless, yet dependable for daily use.

Nigerian Access bank scam

This bank is a scam. I sent money to Nigeria through money gram and it it4 days now. The money is confirmed as deposited in the bank, However, the bank is yet to deposit the money in my cousin ‘s account. Assuming, this money was sent for medical emergency, the patient would have been dead. The bank or employees hold on to client funds to reinvest and keep telling bull stories that the network is bad. They are known for this. I usually send large amount of money yearly for my projects. I will personally advocate for moneygram to flag their fraudulent activities and possibly remove them from their participating banks because they are also spoiling their business.

Access bank POOR SERVICES

I have been a customer of Access bank from Diamond bank era.
I have up to 9 personal and corporate accounts.
Recently Im SO DISAPPOINTED with the
1. Customer services. My account officer seems no more interested.
2. Online services have gone down the drain.
3. Mobile banking has gone down, I spent hours trying to get bank statements.
4. Primus plus by access bank is a joke!
It’s difficult to use & I can’t get account statements in the last 1hr today 13/5/2025.
5. I am sincerely tired of this poor banking service.
What is the point on access bank going international when the local services are terrible.
I WONT RECOMMEND ACCESS BANK.

Feedback from my Access bank experience

I went to Access bank, Awka branch, Nigeria to receive the payment of my customer's cheque issued to me from his bank (first bank). They could not exit the cheque due to personnel issues (the person-in charge was not around, they said). I left the cheque with them (that same Friday) hoping it will be sorted out within few hours. Sadly, I went back the following week tuesday and up until wednesday, they still didn't exit the cheque payment, now citing network issue for a whole 3 working days! Unbelievable!
My business (with my customer) was affected because of such incompetence!

Access is A Big Mess

I tried booking a flight using my card and all transactions failed, then i realised that i already got debited, that i had to find a new alternative plus the fact that the bank didn't communicate and even took days and several calls to their customer service before realizing that my money was placed on hold for an unknown reason. the support officers are okay but you can sense they're working with outdated or bad tools.

1. Damaris is the worst Customer service I have ever chatted with. He just ended my chat without hearing from me.

2: I received an SMS and Email that my case which I reported on March 7, 2025 would be resolved on March 11, 2025 but nothing has been done

3: I spent $5 calling Access Bank customer service and no one answered. What a bank?

I just bought a home using Mr Denman

I just bought a home using Mr. Tony Denman as my mortgage broker and they made it the best experience I could ever imagine, they were very professional they helped me out all along the way explaining everything I needed to know and I just closed last Friday God bless Mr. Tony and Acccess Bank

access bank is one of the worst bank to bank with in Nigeria, I have been banking with them since 2011, their services is bad most times no network, the worst of all is when you transfer money from your access bank account to another bank account the will money will leave your access account but the money will get to the other bank account, and I called and called issue not resolved, email several times I get reply back from them saying they are looking into it they get back to me soon, soon I will wait it I will forget, but still my money not returned nor send to the intended account, I have this issue call failed transaction several times they didn’t return or send it to the payee’s account. Don’t be a victim of access bank, think of other to bank with, I will not recommend access bank after banking with them. I will say NO NO access bank

This bank have so many corporate thieves. If you don't want to loose your money , stay away from this bank if you're not domiciled in Nigeria. Access Bank is the worst bank. You could log in one day and have certain amount today and another day you funds would be completely wiped out from the app without notice. The customer service reps are useless and unhelpful. They do not have integrity whatsoever

I wish I could give zero stars

I wish I could give zero stars. It is extremely difficult to reach a customer service representative, and when you finally do, they either hang up on you or block your number. This was not just a poor experience but a truly HORRIBLE one.

For weeks now, I have been requesting to switch from a transaction token to a transaction PIN within the Access More app to make fund transfers easier and smoother. The token system requires me to use an entirely different app, which complicates the process unnecessarily. Despite multiple attempts and extended delays, I was only just informed that I need to provide my NIN to complete this request. This level of service is unacceptable, and the lack of transparency and communication is beyond frustrating.
