I would highly recommend this company. I ordered the 12x12 deck and with the easy instructions I was able to build the deck by myself in a day. I’m already looking into another deck.

I don’t usually write reviews but this…
I don’t usually write reviews but this one deserves it. I had been debating whether to build a deck myself or hire someone and then I stumbled on A-DIY. Best decision I’ve made in a long time.
The entire process was simple. I placed the order and got the kit about a week and a half later. Everything came in a secure, organized case. no mess, no missing parts.
I’m not super handy but the instructions were clear and the pieces were perfectly cut. It really does feel like putting together a giant LEGO set. I ended up doing most of it on my own over the weekend and didn’t need any special tools beyond my drill.
What really impressed me was the customer service. I had a quick question during assembly and someone got back to me almost immediately with a helpful response. You don’t see that kind of support often.
The finished product looks amazing. I ordered the 12 x 16 pressure treated deck and it feels solid, professional, and way more expensive than what I paid. Friends and family have already complimented it and I’ve caught myself just standing outside admiring it.
If you're on the fence, don’t be. This is the easiest, most satisfying project I’ve taken on in years.

Hi Rya,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this amazing review — it truly means a lot to us!
We designed A-DIY with exactly this experience in mind: simple, accessible, and genuinely satisfying. Hearing that you tackled the build mostly on your own (with just a drill!) and ended up with a deck you're proud of is everything we hope for.
We’re especially happy to hear our customer support team was able to help when you needed it — we take pride in being there when it counts. And the fact that friends, family, and even neighbors are noticing? That’s the best kind of ripple effect!
Thanks again for trusting us with your project. If you ever need anything, we’re always here to help.
Enjoy your new deck!

I am far from a handyman but the wife wanted a deck in the backyard and I couldn’t see myself dishing out $20,000 for someone to come build it for us. I ended up seeing an ad for this company and was blown away by the price and ease of install. 2 of our neighbours ended up ordering as well!

Warped Board \ Screws Breaking
Delivery of the product was great.
Installation manual incorrectly labeled the boards but was able to figure of what went where.
I had 2 planks that were smaller than all of the boards but it had no impact on the installation.
Getting the patio leveled was a pain. Did not received the extra 4 x 4 as promised by the person I spoke to when I expressed concerns about the leveling due to the yard before I decided to move forward with the purchase.
A week after installation, one board began curling which was shocking. Reached out to customer support and was told the board must've gotten wet or that not enough spacing between the boards to allow expansion for not enough screws were used. When the pallet arrived, I had it covered until were were ready for installation, all boards were on great shape, however, I did notice some boards were dryer than others. Perhaps the boards were placed together with a small amount of spacing to cause that one board to warp???
Then a few days later there were other boards popping, thankfully the board did not curl, the screws provided were snapping and had to replace with longer screws.
If it wasn't for the one board warping and then screws snapping I would give a better rating.

Hi Carrie,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
We genuinely appreciate all feedback—it’s what helps us continuously improve and ensure our customers have the best possible experience. Our goal at A-DIY is always to deliver high-quality products and exceptional support.
We use Grade 1 Southern Yellow Pine that’s pressure-treated and kiln-dried—considered among the best for outdoor decking. As with any natural lumber, slight warping can occur once it’s exposed to the elements. However, once the pieces are properly secured, they should remain stable and structurally sound.
We did offer to connect you with one of our design engineers to help troubleshoot the issue, and we truly wish that conversation had happened. If any parts were missing or not up to standard, we would have gladly replaced them—customer satisfaction is our top priority. Based on the photos you shared, it also looks like smaller screws may have been used in some places instead of the deck-specific screws provided. That’s on us—we take responsibility for not making the installation instructions clearer, and we're working to improve them going forward.
One of our team members will also be reaching out to you directly by phone to better understand your experience. We take this very seriously, and we want to ensure that every A-DIY customer feels supported and valued.
Thank you again for your honest feedback.

Game changer!!
We always wanted a deck but didn’t know where to begin - from pricing it out, finding a contractor, or deciding the right size/shape..it just all felt too daunting..
It pretty much all changed when we learned about Laccoo decks. Their DYI modular approach gave us the confidence to jump in knowing we didn’t need to find the perfect contractor or know exactly what we wanted for the future. We could start small, self install and then add to it in the future as needed. This was a life changer for us!!

Amazing Quality and Easy DIY Solution. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I purchased a deck from Laccoo, and honestly I’m SO glad I did. The quality of the materials is top-notch and the design is well thought out. It was super easy it was to put together and I didn’t need to hire a contractor.
The guide made the installation process super smooth, and it was actually fun to see the deck come together. I was worried it might be complicated but it turned out to be one of the simplest projects I've ever done all by myself.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

BEST DIY KIT
Contractor after contractor after contractor, and they all screwed me, i didn't have any heavy equipment to build a deck myself. my brother had told to buy a DIY deck kit i was on the fence at first as I'm old and can't move like i used to, however I'm never going back to a contractor again. it was cost effective and the instructions were clear! it's almost like buying a home addition on amazon, and it gets delivered to your door!! i now have 2 side by side at my house. No regrets, ditch the contractors that are always trying to scam you and do it yourself.

Handyman skills
Handyman skills? Not me, so I was hesitant about assembling a deck on my own. But then I took a chance on Laccoo's 16 x 16 composite deck kit, and wow, was I surprised! It was incredibly easy to put together, taking just an hour from start to finish. Now, I have a professional-grade deck in my backyard that I assembled myself, and it cost me just a fraction of the quotes I got from other deck companies. I'm still amazed at the quality and value I received!
