It was indeed entirely our own fault that the driver had to wait extra, I'll admit that right away.
But when it started taking too long, he suddenly demanded X amount. Otherwise, I would have happily given him a tip of 50,000 or 60,000 rupiah without any fuss, but the moment someone starts demanding it, it really backfires with me. Never using that company again. Lesson learned!
