Ordered a 20's inspired dress for my wedding. It arrived in good time, is in great condition and true to size. I'm very very pleased with it 😊

I ordered a dress for a wedding which the site shows beautiful stunning dresses when it arrived it came in a bag all crumpled up and no label attached to it in fact it looked like it had been worn, not a good start I thought!!! When I tried the dress on which fitted me perfectly it had at least 3 flaws the dress had not been made to high standard and I possibly couldn't wear it let alone to a wedding!! So after a very very frustrating time emailing them to ask about a return and getting a label, on numerous times and getting no reply, I finally get a response from them to say they want photos of the flaws, which I then sent immediately after, to which they then replied they would offer me a 20% discount which I turned down as I cannot wear the dress!! I just want to return the dress that was over 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing they have disappeared off the face of the planet!!! So I am stuck with a faulty made dress, they have taken £65 and totally ignored my numerous emails I have sent!! Seems to me if your one of the lucky ones that keep your items your ok but if you have to return anything it's nothing but hassle and if you do return it's at a cost!! I have never dealt with a company like this before and it's made me more aware now, shame as their site have some stunning dresses on them but the way they have treated myself I will never use them again. On the star rating I had to key in a star rating unfortunately it doesn't allow a 0 star rating to proceed with your review otherwise my rating would of shown no star

I ordered some items 2 weeks before a vintage event. The website (co.uk) suggested it is an English company with stock shipped from UK, but in fact it appears to be from China. I soon realised the items won’t arrive on time. I contacted customer service and they said they couldn’t cancel the order but would offer me 10% extra refund (once I returned the items) for the inconvenience. Fair enough I thought. Once the items eventually arrived, I contacted them again to arrange the return (the return instructions are very strict and unnecessarily complicated). They then offered me 50%, and later, a 60% refund if I did not return the items. Because of the hassle of sending the returns I accepted this offer. But it was misleading and disingenuous. I only ever received 10% refund and now have items I can’t return. Customer service then referred me to their returns policy which did not stack up with what they offered. And they made excuses not to pay out. I urge you to review this policy before buying anything. ZAPAKA were not clear, deceive you and lie to you. Avoid.

Customer service experience here is a joke. Asking to return items tracked to China costing more than the value of the dress. Like others have said, do not even bother with this site.

Absolute rip off buyer beware do NOT order from this scam company

Not a reputable business. I bought an item costing over £100 for my daughter. It was for a particular event and this timescale would be enough time to receive the item. We paid extra for express 3 to 8 days delivery. Alas, the dress hasn't arrived and the event has been and gone. I emailed and got told the order couldn't be cancelled because it was on route. Also, surprisingly given the 3 to 8 working days timescale given when you purchase an item with express delivery. 3 - 8 working days delivery is actually interpreted as 15 to 24 days. This is from the email reply I got: "Total delivery time = Processing time + Shipping time - Processing time: (7-12 days) Shipping time: (8 -12 business days)." I have read many of the genuine reviews and the general impression is that if you return the item to China there is no guarantee you will get any refund. Very depressing, I wish I had googled the company before we ordered but it looks on the surface a reputable website

The dress was not the size stated the material v thin and not a full skirt as in the picture the customer service was appalling and to get a refund has to send back to China tracked which meant once adding to the £6 postage I paid to get it here along with £12 postage I needs to return I would only only get half the money back would never use again

I was looking for a versatile strappy dress that I could dress up or down, and this company had the perfect selection. I chose a lovely midi dress with delicate spaghetti straps and a flowy silhouette. The dress can transition from a casual day out to an evening event effortlessly. The quality is exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's now a staple in my wardrobe!

I made an order of £193.88 with express delivery which is £22.88(3-8 days delivery).They did not send the order and when I send them mail for cancellation and returning my money,as my order didn't arrived on time they told me sorry(which is not helping me at all) but nothing about in how many days the refund will be done.Already passed 4 days from the last email and they didn't replied back.They are not trusty at all.

I purchased a dress for my daughters wedding which looked beautiful on advertisement. Absolutely awful very cheap material & not fit for purpose!!
They definitely seem like a dodgy website.

I went off the measurements on the website, but the dress I bought is way too small. I had to contact them numerous times before getting a response. When they finally responded, they offered me 2 options: 1 - keep the dress and get a 60% refund or return the dress for a full refund minus postage fees. It would have cost more than the 60% refund in postage so I opted for the 60% refund. However, they then stated this would be 30% and claimed that it was me who made up the 60% refund. I sent them evidence of their correspondence stating 60% refund then they ignored all my emails thereafter. I went via my bank to dispute this and recieved the 60% refund. This company is an absolute con and provides disgusting customer service. I would not recommend them and will definitely not be purchasing from them ever again.

How can this company be legal, when they expect you to return items to china tracked costing £20. It shouldn’t be allowed.

Despite being called "Zapaka UK" and having a co.uk. website, they expect you to pay to return items to China!
The dress is cheap, flimsy and much smaller than expected (I ordered an XL as I'm a UK 14 but I couldn't zip it up!)
Customer service do everything in their power to stop you returning your dress.
Absolute scam - do not buy!

Like other reviews - dresses ordered with a confirmed 10-15 day delivery lead time. They arrived more than 25 days after order, too late for my event, despite being posted from a north London warehouse address. Dresses were far smaller than standard Uk sizes so had to go back. Returns accepted only back to China, which entailed £80 postage fee. More than a month after returning, via tracked signed for delivery, still no refund. I will also be pursuing a refund via my credit card company. Terrible Chinese company. Buyer beware.

If you’re wondering about the 4 and 5 star reviews… Ignore them. They are clearly fake and follow the same pattern of “evoking memories, evoking joy, positive compliments” - you can see they are written by bots or Google translate, probably added by Zapaka to boost their ratings and come across as a legitimate company.

The worse experience ever.
I cancelled the order (immediately after ordering) because of my grand daughter's Prom time schedule, via paypal, they ignored me, sent the dress, which turned out to be absolutely awful ( nothing like the picture) with the most horrible packaging.
Then they replied to paypal refusing to refund because, according to them I cancelled after shipment.
Disgusting.
And oh- I realised they're based in China with a UK url.
AVOID.....
I have it one because there's no option for zero.

They are useless at responding to emails. I have returned an item and they have now not responded to email. I’ve put a complaint in with PayPal to see if they can help. I emailed them several times they were keen to tell me how to return and then have completely blanked me since! Keep as far away as possible. RIP OFF

Absolutely useless. They sent me the wrong dress and then refuse to answer any messages so now I can't send it back. Luckily, I choose to pay with an invoice and Klarna has helped me pause it until this is all cleared up. My order number is SE5788, so feel free to get back to me.

Horrible company i paid extra for delivery around £16 after waiting over two weeks which btw the delivery time is meant to be eight days I received my dress over a week after my prom even after them reassuring me it would come in time they then said they wouldn’t be able to refund me for the delivery as it’s apparently ‘out of their control’ how long the parcel takes to arrive after leaving their warehouse eventhough they said it would arrive on time after me explaining I no longer need the dress they then said I would have to pay my own postage to ship it back to china so I did I paid £25 now it’s been coming up to a month I done everything they told me to sent them proof of postage and tracking and after multiple attempts to contact them no one is responding anymore I don’t know what to do other then to report this to my bank as a scam and fraud don’t order from this company the customer service is terrible unless u want to get scammed

They are not a UK company despite their site being a UK site.

I didn't recieve my order in the time stated, so asked for a refund. They were very difficult to get in contact with and just didn't open emails. So I opened a paypal dispute. I asked to cancel the order and for a refund and they repeatedly ignored my request and just asked when I needed the order for over and over again.

Eventually they said they would send the refund within 5-7 working days, it has now been 10 days with no refund so I have had to escalate through Paypal. Just don't do it.

If I hadnt paid through PayPal I would have no chance of getting my money back.
