bought used car 27000 miles ,now has 38000 miles and needs complete gearbox,Never again ,Ford didnt want to know as it was 1 month over 6 years cold

Another great experience with Kirkcaldy ford Center i am onto my 3rd car would never go anywhere else as the customer service is so amazing here they really do give everything the personal touch and go out of their way to make the transition really seamless with no issues. Tristen Brennan gave a first class service helped me find the perfect car and kept we up to date through the whole process it was super easy and I had my new car within the week. Will be back in a few years for my next car.

Jim Grantham provided me with a very high level of service. He responded quickly to my queries and I bought a Ford Fiesta which is a very nice car to drive.

I was disappointed with the service received at the Kirkcaldy Ford Centre having been a loyal ford customer throughout the change over to the ford centre. While service was satisfactory throughout the warranty period of a new vehicle the issues has arose after the warranty period has ran out. The level of communication was very poor to the point I had to reach out to Ford customer service to get any sort of answers. With multiple phone calls to the dealership to be advised I would be called back and this never occurred which would not be the case if it had been sales related.

A dealerships customer service should extend beyond the warranty period, and unfortunately this was not the case here. The experience has left me questioning their commitment to long-term customer care and also the durability of ford parts with the costly repair I was quoted on just a 3 year old vehicle. All this has has meant I would not feel confident in both the Ford brand and the dealership.

have been a Harrison’s customer for some 16 years. In that time I have purchased Ford Galaxy, SMax, CMax, Focus, Focus RS, Focus ST (3 of them), Fiesta (2 of them), Kuga and Puma ST. I have also recommended several people including both sons.

In April 2024 my son who serves in forces and is based in South of England wanted a new car. As such he purchased a Focus ST Line from Harrison’s providing a 8k cash deposit. The remainder of the £16600 price was via a finance plan.

He initially travelled south and on first journey engine warning light came on and overheating. As such it was recovered to Ford down south and after a couple of weeks apparently repaired.

Upon the next journey north the engine warning light came on again resulting in further work at Harrison’s where apparently repaired.

On traveling south again you guessed it light on again and limp mode. Taken into Ford again and apparently repaired. Car then parked up due to deployment. Upon return and drive home same thing again.

Harrison’s agreed to deal with the matter and get him into something reliable. As such and believing they would deal with the matter he looked at their stock. Due to the faults with Ford he lost faith in the product and chose to purchase a BMW from them. The price was £19995 but later reduced to £19500.

Harrison’s provided him with a low trade in deal for the car that was faulty from onset and he had to pay a further £14600 cash to buy this vehicle which he needed as traveling next day for work. In total he paid 8k in April, £1600 in payments for the faulty car since and then a further £14600 for the new car. A total of £24200 since April for a car that was faulty and now the new one. As such he has lost out on several thousand pounds. A shocking way to deal with a purchase and after sales to say the least.

I will no longer do any business with Harrison’s as I am utterly disgusted by their attitude throughout the process.

Please be warned you are but a number to them and no longer a customer.

Further to the above they are selling the same vehicle so please be aware before purchasing. SM20VZV.

Got a ford transit custom last year and within a few months problems started happening.The brake pads seized so I had to get that fixed ,garage noticed all 4 tyre treads were below limit strange van had recently had mot and service no advisory’s , after replacing them few weeks later electrics failed on central locking phoned garage only to be told it would be a couple of weeks for them to look at and the WARRANTY they gave me wouldn’t cover it anyway,Again after paying to fix myself the drivers side wheel bearing failed had to fix that but obviously some things are wear and tear so not blaming the garage for everything.I then was made aware about the wet belt on these vans being really bad so asked the garage if they changed mine as they had changed the sump pump before I got the van it would have made sense to change the belt at the same time but no so that was another £1500 to replace mine as it was pretty worn.Now recently at the 1 year mark break break pipes and manifold have failed due to excessive erosion and poor condition and drivers side wheel bearing went pretty much same week brilliant.Please be careful when using these big RELIABLE garages I was sold a bag of s##t.

Purchased a kuga from them in October 2024 now February 2025 and still not got it running right. Complaint now raised with finance company. Been told is normal for rev needle to jump up and down on start up, got rear lights that keep getting condensation was told they would be fixed before I got it and an alarm that randomly goes off getting us all up in the early hours of morning

I had been looking for a Grand Tourneo and tried several dealers across Scotland and North England. Some were reasonably helpful, others apathetic to put it mildly. When I called Yourfordcentre in Kirkcaldy, used car salesman John Burns was really keen to help. Within a few days he had searched the UK dealer network to find the fright spec, age, mileage. Between times, I got a very courteous email from the dealership's business manager thanking me for choosing to contact the centre. Probably a standard response, but a pleasing touch. John kept in touch, but by the time he had a choice of cars for us, we had bought a 22-plate one from a used car dealer in Bury, which was a good deal. I was disappointed John was just too late to get our business, but I have kept his contact details and will recommend friends and family to contact him any time they're looking for help in buying a used Ford.

Bought a brand new van from Kirkcaldy Ford centre back in March really good service as always. Returning customer as bought another van from them back in 2022.
