YourBestGrade is a phenomenal platform
YourBestGrade is a phenomenal platform. The question styles including NGN have grown my comprehension skills and my confidence beyond what I thought was possible.
I got 76%’s on two exams when I first started nursing school, which is failing at my school. I was so nervous about passing overall and the inevitable HESI exits that we have for each class at the end of each quarter.
I realized I did not have critical thinking skills and really wanted to excel and give my all to getting better.
Using YBG consistently helped me go from trying to memorize to studying in terms of prioritization, I started getting 90’s on exams and passed my HESI with an 1103=99%. I did so well, I received a letter of recommendation to tutor at my school and an excellent clinical placement.
YBG has a clean appearance (good for thinking, not busy or colorful) which makes it simple to use, highly personalized with the notes and self quizzing features. It feels like there are endless questions for every course required throughout the program and the rationales explain why the right answer is right and the wrong answer is wrong in very clear and precise detail. I was able to purchase this program in 4 installments and the accessibility is appreciated. I am so grateful for the hard work put into this platform and highly recommend using YourBestGrade.

Cares and push you to not give up on a calm way. They go out of there way to make sure you understand how to study a think . Lots of questions and great rationales to explain answers . I passed my exit :) now to study for nclex an I will honestly say yourbestgrade would be a benefit for studying for nclex as well
Try it!
Update#2: I hit a couple of bumps at first while adjusting to the format, but once I got into a rhythm with the practice questions, everything smoothed out. In just one week, I raised my score from 600 to 850. The targeted practice made a huge difference. Definitely worth it!
Update #1: The credentials where provided this evening 2/8/2026 and I will update this post at a later date.

Best Rationales
I have used Your Best Grade throughout nursing school. I cannot give enough stars for how helpful it has been. The rationales are detailed but easy to understand. They explain both the correct and incorrect answers. The rationales are much better than my school textbook platform. I am using the NCLEX version now and hope that it prepares me for the same success as the HESI’s. Also, I emailed a couple questions to customer service and received a personal and prompt response each time. Thank you!!
I passed with a 98.6% conversion score.
I scored over 1000...
So today I scored in the 1070s on my Exit Hesi. I used Your Best Grade for frequent exposure to challenging test questions. They have so many questions! And the rationales are so detailed! My personal study period: I was on a time crunch of about 6 days to try to review for the Exit. I was initially extremely overwhelmed with what to review for first since the exam is comprehensive and because I never really took notes during my entire past and current semesters of nursing school 😅😅. All I had was my textbooks which I had read for each corresponding course. But anyway, I just primarily focused on nursing content that I knew I was personally, weaker at --which were: Peds/Adult Endocrine issues, Pediatrics in general, Maternity Intrapartum, Psychiatric:
Schizophrenia, & Psych pharmacology, etc... Newborn, Leadership, etc... and other subjects. I would drill as many questions as I could in these categories, read through every rationale, then go back to my textbook to fortify content, and then go back onto YBG and take specialty exams over the content to gauge if i had improved in understanding enough to answer with critical thought. Then i would take the YBG practice 160 comprehensive Legacy versions of the Hesi exit. I also knew that I was pretty uncomfortable with answering Next Generation questions, especially in a timely manner, so I made sure to drill a few of the '30 NGN Tests' offered on the website. I also used external resources like my school textbooks, and the HESI comprehensive NCLEX review book (which I would say is only helpful on its own if you have a strong working knowledge of all the content it lists. Think of it as a solid refresher, not necessarily there to re-teach you what you should have learned in your program. I really liked the HESI Hints of that book. I didn't really get much time to do the Practice questions that came with the book like I wanted to, but I did manage to do one of the available comprehensive exams for this resource. I spent most of my time on YBG and fortifying content through reading either my textbook or the 'HESI Comprehensive review for NCLEX' book. The green book was more in depth for some content than the current edition purple book.
I know a lot of students --for advice on how to approach utilizing YBG, say to "purposefully answer the questions wrong to look at the rationales" ---but you'll literally get the rationales anyway even if you answer correctly?
I recommend that you look past the rigor and difficulty of YBG questions and treat each session as a true exam (while timing yourself) and actually TRY. Become aware of your thought process of how youre approaching each question, if youre using critical thinking at all or just guessing, etc... and then look at the rationales to either gain new perspective on interpreting the questions, reinforce what you understood about the content, or determine why the answer that you chose was wrong, and get exposure to what you need to review in going back through your nursing content. Any question i felt insecure on (whether i answered correctlyor not), I concluded to myself that I did not know it as well as I should and needed to review.
And I must mention again! *Drill the content you know you specifically suck at!!* If you end up being in a time crunch like me, spend time primarily looking at content you know you struggle in. I will say though, that realistically, you won't cover everything, so also be willing to take some Ls on your actual HESI Exit, but you'll be better off in preparation than if you hadnt prepared at all🙂
Lastly, YBG in my opinion was more challenging than the HESI exit. But the Hesi Exit was in a way, still tricky on its own. I will say that YBG assists greatly in exposing you to varying topics and the appropriate reasonings behind varying nursing interventions, and procedures, different disease processes, etc... depending upon the content in the question (especially if NGN) but don't expect to see questions from YBG on the actual exit (just incase you were wondering) I wouldn't even say that the way the Questions are worded from either are even similar between each other. But I would say that YBG provides solid rigorous practice exam content that stretchs you to think critically and understand the reasoning behind each answer choice for each stem. What I love too, is that the rationales also tell you what the question was really asking about which is an indirect test taking strategy nugget. Concluding my studies, 2 Days before my school HESI Exit, I took the YBG 130 Question NGN Mock exam and scored a 906 and today I scored in the 1070s on my Exit. Hopefully this experience helps give hope 💌
Ultimately, through it all, I give the Glory to Jesus for assisting me throughout nursing school and all of these examinations!
Thank you for your time :)

Updated review. I have not used the site yet, but I now have access to the site. The company made a minor mistake, but corrected the issue. I hope my Hesi score goes up to over a 1000 like other students have stated in their reviews.

I had trouble with HESI’s last semester due to a lack of preparation. I did not really know how to study or prepare efficiently. Your Best Grade was one of the top resources students recommended so I tried it out.
I was amazed with how helpful the study exams are. I learned all the rationales for my answers- right and wrong. I ended up passing my HESI this time around and contribute my success greatly to Your Best Grade. Thank you!
Best grade is WORTH IT!!!
Best grade is the closest thing to a HESI! Great way to prepare questions are formatted the same and rationales are great to help understand why you got a question wrong!! I passed my exit HESI first try because of Best Grade!!
raw review
I KID YOU NOT THE QUESTIONS ON MY HESI WERE SIMILAR BUT NOT THE SAME AS YOURBESTGRADE. But I see what YBG is doing, if you're consistent enough it'll show. I had no clue what I was doing during my hesi, and I swear im not lying. YBG designed my brain to learn how to answer the questions!! I NEEDED A 850 AND GOT A 972. Until this day I dont understand how I got that score because I left out of that exam room SHOOK preparing for the worse. I'm taking my NCLEX practice questions now and im still scoring high. word of advice STAY CONSISTENT EVEN IF ITS 10 Q'S A DAY, IT WILL TRAIN YOUR BRAIN TO WEAVE OUT THE ANSWERS! THANKS YBG!
YBG saved me, but God delivered me
Hello there! Graduated this past May and our school has us enrolled in the HESI prep program for the NCLEX. Prior to this past semester I had NEVER passed a HESI. I never scored above a 750. I was anxious all Christmas break going into this semester knowing that my HESI's were now all graded with the attached test average expectation. I needed to average 76% between all four exams. However, passing was considered an 850. I was discouraged. I heard about Your Best Grade from a classmate. I was hesitant on purchasing because we were told we had all the means to pass, however I was uneasy. Let me advise you now, PURCHASE IT. It is worth every penny. On my first HESI I scored a 816 (basic pre test), then a 936 (foundations), and on my first exit A exam a 1036 and second exit B exam 1047. Just do 50 questions a day, read the rationales. The questions are so similar. I take my NCLEX soon and I truly believe your best grade allowed me to figure out how to test properly. Be confident, do not find your identity in your grades and TRUST THE LORD. He brought you here to this point, let Him carry you, cast your anxieties on Him, for He loves each of you. Always praying for my fellow nursing students. Much love!
I passed my exit HESI
I passed my exit HESI ! The questions are very similarly formatted to the questions on here which made it very helpful.
