Your site is very good for non-beginners. We who are chronic beginners have to put in a lot of energy to learn & follow, which is good, but makes for slow progress. Was planning to use it as a supplement to another program but cost is prohibitive.

Yabla Espanol has helped me tremendously. Every school system should use it as part of their language instruction.

I love, love, love Yabla and all the wonderful videos with nice, informative, and very helpful instructors.

Yabla is a perfect way to improve conversational comprehension and whatever level you are learning. I recently subscribed again at my low-advanced level and found it as fun and easy to learn from as it was 2 years ago when I was an intermediate learner.

The way you teach is very effective. The speed can be controlled. Online dictionary helps to understand unknown words and different levels of video make things really attractive and reachable. This is why i am with you for a long time...

Yabla is the perfect ‘one stop shop’ for all my Italian learning needs.

I like many of the videos that I have seen but find some challenges:
1. Searching through for videos especially content that is more Beg - Intermediate.
2. I am disappointed about two things 1. I am restricted to one language (I also want to see videos in Spanish) and 2. that there is not a great variety of content.
Given that, I would appreciate more of the "man/person on the street" videos showing Spanish used in daily life, but also filmed with good quality sound (pay your content providers well enough so that they will be willing to always use good mics.

The games and follow up exercises are generally good and provide some reinforcement.

How can I use the program more interactively? I need to work on pronunciation and putting sentences together.

Videos are VERY EASY to use. The feature that allows me to click on an unknown word and get a definition is extremely helpful. Rewind and fast forward are easy to use.

Searching for videos by category is very helpful. Keep up the good work!

major improvement is the speak option which is very important because pronouncation is very important part of learning a foreign language

I think you need to capture whole phrases in the flash card scheme. Also, you need to curate you subtitles and translations better.

What I do like is your organization of skill levels

I use Yabla to increase my ability to understand spoken Spanish. The choice of topics, l different accents, and different levek is good. The variety of excersizes is good but the ease of use depends on the tool one uses, e.g., a mobile, computer, etc.

Videos are predominately those translated from the media. There are few "active" videographers of which of which the majority do a limited # of videos and disappear. Vocabulary and grammar reinforcement only occurs within games or non existent. As most videographers are not professional instructors of language these videos at times are not well thought out with respect to content and/or grammar complexity. The 5 levels (newbie, beginner, intermediate, advanced -intermediate, advanced) can be misrepresented for instance with many intermediate videos assigned as beginner. I believe that Yabla can be a good accompaniment to language instruction but it is not a stand alone product. If you have already a working vocabulary it can be extremely useful but for those of us still working on it, it's a challenge.

I'm enjoying Yabla very much. I especially enjoy the videos depicting French lifestyle. I only wish there were more current videos for true beginners. I'm at the 2 star level.
Too be most critical I think some of the videos are a bit dated. I would especially like to view videos that would show visitors to France the correct way to order in a cafe' or buy a ticket for the train. In general how to interact effectively and with confidence.

Some of the speakers in the Movies are not so understandable when speaking

I had a great learning experience on this website. First of all, I think that listening to the sounds of Chinese is very important. Second, I love the vocabulary and the reminder to repeat the words. Third, there are some excellent videos. I couldn't find lessons for beginners who don't know anything, but I found some super simple songs, and I will return to the videos once I am more familiar with the language. For now, I use the Pinyin chart for the sounds, the dictionary and the vocabulary review. So far, I think it's good. I like that it counts the words I've learned so far. Great experience.
