Turning Moments into Masterpieces, One Child at a Time At Wyrd Story, we create personalized art history books that transform a single photo of your child or grandchild into 14 stunning museum-style portraits. Each book pairs your little one with the world's greatest masterpieces—from the Mona Lisa to Starry Night—creating a timeless keepsake that families treasure for generations. The Story Behind Wyrd Story I'm David, the founder, and I started Wyrd Story because I saw a gap in the world of meaningful gifts. Grandparents told me they were tired of giving toys that would be forgotten in weeks. Parents wanted something educational that didn't involve a screen. Everyone was searching for that one gift that would actually matter. That's when I combined my love of art history with modern technology to create something truly special: a personalized journey through the masters, where your child becomes part of art history itself. What Makes Us Different Unlike fully automated services, every Wyrd Story book is handcrafted with care. I personally review and perfect each portrait to ensure your child's unique likeness shines through. If a detail isn't quite right—whether it's the eyes, the smile, or the overall expression—I fix it by hand. It has to be perfect, or we start over. That's my promise to you. We only need one photo. In about a minute, you'll have created something that will be passed around at family gatherings, lingered over by guests, and cherished as the child grows up. More Than Just a Book Parents and grandparents tell us the same thing: "It was the hit of the day." "Everyone kept passing it around." "My son said his heart stopped when he saw it." These aren't just reviews—they're the moments that make what we do meaningful. When a child opens their book and gasps, "That's ME!"—that's the magic we're after. Wyrd Story isn't a toy that gets tossed aside. It's a museum-quality heirloom that introduces children to fine art while celebrating their own unique personality. It's the anti-toy—a legacy piece that connects generations and creates memories that last a lifetime. Our Commitment to You Every book is printed on premium materials, bound with care, and shipped with the attention to detail you'd expect from something meant to last decades. We stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee, because your trust means everything to us. Thank you for considering Wyrd Story for your family. It truly means more than you know. — David Founder, Wyrd Story

I cannot say enough about this company…
I cannot say enough about this company and the owner. First of all, what he produces is fantstic and truly artistic. He is extremely patient and is so easy to work with. That is amazing since my sister and i are perfectionists. He responds immediately to any questions or problems you may have. And when you have specific requests he does them promptly and correctly. And the final product is nothing less than spectacular. I just cannot say enough about our experience with David and his services

Unique and Fun Gift
I’ve ordered three books for my grandchildren so far and couldn’t be more delighted with each one. David was amazing at making every change I requested, so each book could be absolute perfection.
My granddaughter’s 16th birthday is tomorrow and I can’t wait to see her face when she sees herself in the art.

Excellent purchase from an involved owner overseeing the projects from start to finish. Excellent communication, fast delivery and reasonably priced. The books are beautiful. I personally have been a graphic artist (print and wall mural painting) for many years, I'm out of the business now and glad I have found someone that does such a good job. What an amazing product and the response rate/service is, well, probably the best I've ever experienced online ! I basically sent 2 photos which were then adapted - seemingly magically (I'm 67:) and the "masterpieces" are first class. I was a bit hesitant at first - instagram and all that. However, after researching the product and great reviews, I felt encouraged. I am blown away. David responded almost immediately to my more than 20 emails....and my daughter is so impressed with the product and my tech skills at pulling it off - hah! Thanks David and Family - you are a credit to the concept " family business."
