We had a truly positive experience with Yorkshire Housing. Our case was handled by Mollie, and it was a pleasure communicating with her. She was kind, supportive and very clear at every step of the process.

Our assessment was arranged quickly, the call itself was straightforward and easy, and we received the formal offer much faster than we expected. We really appreciate her professionalism and the way she guided us through everything.

Thank you, Yorkshire Housing, and especially Mollie, for making this experience smooth and stress-free.

The gentleman that answered the telephone, 4/12/25 @ 10:50 this morning went above and beyond in helping with a couple of repairs

5-stars for Abid from Customer Experience - I was really impressed with his thoroughness and professionalism when I called today. I felt listened to, which hasn't always been the case when calling YH.

5-stars also for Lorenje from Home Ownership, who is the only person to have answered my emails and passed on my request to the relevant team. Again, I have been impressed with her understanding of my frustrations.

1-star only for YH as a whole for the handling of my daughter's current problem, which has been on-going for over 2 months without resolution. It feels as though the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing!

I had a few queries regarding on going repairs needing to be completed.I spoke to a call handler called Abid,who was excellent.We were on the phone for just short of an hour.In that time Abid went through every detail with me for my queries,to so I understood everything I needed to know.I cannot rate Abid highly enough doing his job.This young man went over and above to do his job.I am 100% happy with all the help he gave me today.Thankyou so much young man.

I was disappointed when the pre - booked appointment was not kept and I was not contacted with an explanation. I called the Help Desk and spoke to Abid who was extremely helpful, patient and professional. Based solely on his performance I am happy to give 5 stars. I feel that he went out of his way to organise 2 new appointments on my behalf, and also surprised me with the offer of compensation for the earlier inconvenience.

Just got off the phone with Caroline at Yorkshire Housing, she has helped me with organising my payments and all questions. I found her really easy to talk to and friendly which is always nice! I've found all the customer service team to be as such, also, I appreciate how acceptable the service is, so thanks again. All the best. :)

Ellie has been amazing, such a lovely kind person to speak to, explained everything perfectly and supported us throughout, thank you so much for everything Ellie.

After a Heart Attack and medical condition, Yorkshire Housing Birkby Croft and Katrina were a gods send, and rest of peace saver…..
I have just moved into my new apartment in Huddersfield were I grew up and really feel at home thanks to the kind welcoming… It’s a bit like having a new family and friends all in one 🤗😊

My mum recently moved in to St Edwin’s Croft sheltered housing. Adele the manager was amazing from start to moving date. Even though she had recently had a bereavement herself she maintained a compassionate and supportive environment for my mum and ensured her transition into the community was easy. She then went above and beyond when I got married recently allowing me to stay overnight in the guest room at the complex so I could be with my mum on the wedding morning as tradition. What a lovely person she is always having time for the people who live in the accommodation and always willing to help where she can whenever anyone has any problems.

I met Jennie Sharp about two years ago when I started to go to Ings Garth community center.I felt I needed to find new friends and meet my neighbours as I had retired from my career as a mobile hairdresser and needed to still meet people.Jennie has always been very welcoming and is is a very pleasant person.She is a great asset to Yorkshire Housing and the center.I hope she will continue her very valued work.

Suzanne Pugh was so kind to me. I actually felt like she listened, empathize and wanted to help with my situation. I'm really grateful I got her on the phone this morning. Thank you!

Just want to give credit where credit is due
I met Jenny 2 yrs ago when it was discussed to restart the community bingo sessions on a Fri night
I now run the sessions on a Friday night and just want to thank Jenny for all her help nothing is to much trouble and is always at the end of the phone if I need any advice
The ingsgarth community centre is a wonderful little centre there’s something happening most days thanks to Jenny xx

On Saturday 15th we had a girls night out for a friends birthday meal when we were all talking about how we met, we realised it was down to Jennie at Ingsgarth community centre. What a lovely little place with such wonderful people all made possible by Jennie and her warm welcome.
Nothing is ever to much trouble for Jennie everyone of us has had help from her at some point wether it be housing related, sign posted to other charities or financial agencies she has gone above and beyond. She never ever makes you feel like you are taking up her time or she doesn’t want to help. If she doesn’t know the answers she will go away and find them. She is the heart and soul of the community. Jennie you are Amazing

Jennie from Yorkshire Housing the communities representative has done absolutely great at the Ings Garth community centre. She has helped people with their problems and new friends have formed from the coffee mornings she set up 5yrs ago. Jennie Is well liked in our community and beyond.

I met Jennie for the first time yesterday at Ingsgarth Community Centre i was told by my neighbours to introduce my elderly mum (who is thinking of moving in with me) to the community centre but was told to make sure I took her on a Tuesday to coffee morning tea and toast. Omg how glad was i that i did. The welcome off the lady when we walked in ( Who i later found out was Jennie ) was amazing not just to my mum but myself.
She introduced herself, told us what she did, what was on at the centre on each days, showed us round the centre.
She then introduced my mum to every person in the centre and she knew every one in there by name that really surprised me. You could just tell it had a lovely warm family feel. Everybody was talking to Jennie like a friend, laughing ang joking, there were lots of elderly people like my mums age 80s and they all spoke so highly of Jennie.Before I knew it my mum was sat with a cup of tea playing bingo and chatting.
My mum had a few questions to ask with regards to moving in about tenancy details etc, this was not a problem for Jennie she took my mums details and promised to get bad to her she was so interested when talking to my mum and had time and patience that's rare these days, so thank you Jennie my mum had a great day, by the end of the session Jennie got back to my mum as promised with all the answers
