Subject: Report of Fraudulent and Unethical practices of a moving company called JUMP STREET MOVERS INC
I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by this company’s complete lack of transparency, misleading advertising, and what I can only describe as a scam-like operation which has left me with an unpleasant moving experience.
I initially chose Jump street movers after receiving a phone call from a man called Zadi Portillo who identified himself as the company’s sales manager. I expressed to him
that I was not doing well financially and therefore was looking for the cheapest option to move. He said he understood and enthusiastically promised me a hassle-free, quick moving experience with what he said was the cheapest price available. He asked me to trust him and ignore all other offers I was getting.I believed him.
The incentives he offered me if I hired them were;
He would waive off the travel hourly rate of 139$ because he was in Cambridge and I in Lexington it was close. He also promised no fuel and no extra charges . I inquired about tax charges. He said there were no tax charges. I was only to expect to pay a max of up to about 550$
Unfortunately, contrary to what he promised my experience was marred by hidden fees, unexplained charges, and a complete lack of transparency. Here are some of the issues I encountered:
1. Hidden Fees: When I received the final bill, it included several additional charges that were never mentioned during the initial quote. The movers billed me for an extra 139$ travel time, 39$ for fuel and 145.5 for supplies.
2. Delayed Services: Based on our conversation and assessment of belongings I had, Zadi promised a specific timeline for my move, stating 3 hours max 4 would be sufficient. The movers were slow which but delayed the pickup and delivery of my belongings to 8.45 hours without providing a valid explanation
3.Poor Communication and unprofessional behavior
Zadi failed to communicate with me and his team about the charges we had agreed upon. The movers disclosed that this happens all the time. “We don’t even know the guy, he is from some app.He sent us the job.” One of them said. They then asked me to pay them and call him because according to them he usually refunds the extra charges that he has agreed upon with the clients. So I again believed them and paid the remaining balance of 1441.75
The next day I called Zadi hoping to discuss the charges and hoping he would refund me. To my astonishment, He instead arrogantly denied ever promising to waive the any charges . He instead blamed me for signing his paperwork. I told him he was not being straightforward and I would report the business. He confidently and arrogantly said “Go ahead I’ve been doing this for eleven years and have never had a problem”
I feel that I have been scammed by Jump Street Movers due to misrepresentation by their Manager. This entire experience has caused undue stress and financial burden on me. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and research other moving companies that prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction.
I hope that my complaint serves as a warning to others, and I implore Jump Street Movers to rectify their practices and improve their customer service to prevent such negative experiences in the future.

YellowPages is a FRAUD. They claim to put businesses on 30 websites, and they do not deliver as promised. If you want to waste $1k - $2k for putting your business on a dozen websites that nobody visits, then work with YellowPages.

It's super disappointing that as reliable a business you would think the yellow pages is that they don't verify if business are actually legit. They let anyone say they have a location, knowing full well and after they have been notified, they do not and they simply do NOTHING. So hoping they will correct that. Maybe then we would advertise.

Do not deal with company , they are just scam artist and don't agree to anything on the phone to them, they turn it into a voice agreement before you get the contract to sign. So learned the hard way , out over $2000 for nothing, a ad they post on their site and has not got one hit and I tried to leave a review for my company and would not even let me do that. you should be able to give them minus stars

If they ever call you, or you call them, watch out. They got some information from one of my staff and then tried to bill us over $1,100 for services. That didn't work, so they contacted Bell and Bell put it on the phone bill.
Oh and if you click on the contact on their website, it's a dead link. Classy.

We should be able to give zero stars. Be careful of this scam company. False advertising of inclusions in their advertising plans. Signed up for the complimentary plan where it says you can add a website to your listing. Low and behold, there is no such option. It became evident that all they want is to build a collection of business names for SEO purposes. Beware that there is no way to delete your account or any listing information once you have created it and their support is non-existent.
DESPICABLE
Absolutely disgraceful, I ordered dinner for my family and myself on my mcdonalds app and the whole order was wrong and disgusting aswell as a few items missing, I then tried to complain via the app and it wouldn't let me, so I then attempted to call the restaurant and got no answer, I rang 74 times over an hour. Disgraceful!

Wish I could give negative stars. They're a scam. Salesman quoted me $5 a month for the listing and then recieved a bill for $500. The rude A/r billing person Tom Gerard has been hounding me 10+ times a day but will not give me any proof of me agreeing to anything and proceeds to try and tell me how to run my life. I haven't signed anything. I'm not paying anything and have not recieved anything other than rude messages and an invoice for work that was never performed. Garbage company with garbage people. P.o.s. even threatened to sue me but again I haven't signed anything. Stay away from these people

May be the worst experience I have ever had. Continued to charge me after my year agreement exprired. Then told me I couldn't cancel the day I called in. Took 40 minutes to talk to someone who speaks english and in this country. Stay away and save your money

This company is an absolute joke of a business. Do not advertise with them. I had 0 leads from their so called advertising. Its impossible to cancel with them once you are registered, and eventually if you miss a payment they pass your details to a debt collection agency. Do not advertise with them, spend your money elsewhere. All there reviews are appalling and they need to stop trading.

I am beyond upset with this company. Their site is absolutely terrible; managing your free complimentary listing is extremely difficult and convoluted. All they want to do is sell, and have a partner (Thryv) to try and sell you SEO services and other stuff that will work as a dashboard to better manage your listing. Honestly, YP is dead, and they did nothing to keep up with the times. Uploading pictures to your business' free listing is a nightmare; you can't delete what you upload, you make changes to the listing or add services you offer as a business and some may post, some may not... You constantly get ERROR messages on the site saying "This must be resubmitted, you may have encountered a temporary glitch".. It is terrible. I'm done with them. I rather delete my listing. Who goes to YP anyway?

Shame on the owner of the McDonalds on 22 Ave South in Gulfport Fl! Entered the so called restaurant on Sun Feb 19th, 2023 to pick up breakfast for my grandson only to find a Circus going on. The lines outside were piled up, and inside tons of people were standing around. At first I see the one lady serving "Sweetheart this and sorry baby that," but then I noticed something. She nearly chopped my head off when I asked for utensils after waiting over 20 mins for an agg and a hash brown. And the people waiting to be served was an elderly white couple, 2 white old men and a Mexican lady and myself. Now I know what happened over 400 yrs ago was not fair or nice, but reverse discrimination isn't either. The rift working there should not be allowed to work as their behavior was like they were in their backyard during a family bar-b - que and all they needed was the beer. Grown adults and young kids both goofing off. This small lovely town of Gulfport with it's diverse people deserve respect and to have a McDonalds or any establishment run with dignity. Shame shame shame on this owner! Hopefully it will shut down soon so another decent food place can offer folks decent food and decency in service.

Signed a contract with them and now they are wanting to change the terms (raise the rate). So they want to change the terms of contract yet we are supposed to abide by our terms. This is illegal. [ ] I started working at Bonefish Grill early November 2022. I made it to a whole year and 3 months. During the pandemic. Neil Scott hired me. He is a wonderful Boss. Then I met Eleanor Braxton. She is also a Phenomenal Manager. Everyone loves her. She trained me. You can go to her for anything. And she will hear you out and find a solution. She was the 2nd manager I met. Then it was Jessica Stewart. I did my BBI training with. She is loved and still missed by many employees. She had a spirit of life. Now on the other hand there is a 4th manager and her name is Marissa Merino. Working with this lady for a year was rough.she is biased. She is very rude. I have seen her personally in my face yell at the host or hostess from across the bar or dining area. She doesn't work good under pressure at all. I was working on shift. And it was a bee in the establishment. Due to the back door being open. I told her leave the bee alone. She got one of the cooks to kill the bee. The water sprinklers went off. She was acting like a mad lady. I have a video of it. She doesnt know how to talk in a critical situation. September 25th 2022, Marissa Merino was sick. She had covid. And she was the Expeditor that night. Meaning she is controll of the food being passed out to the tables. She was one that day touching, sneezing and handing french fries with her bare hands. I told her she smelt like sweaty Vicks. What kind of person knowing your sick handles someone food. She got mad at me. And didn't talk to me for a week. Marissa Merino talks crap about everyone. She has her favorites. Marissa Merino has gotten people fored for no reason. The whole Establishment meaning all the employees don't like her. I've seen people quit because of her. I have Never had a bad complaint about me or my service. I honestly feel I was targeted and I will make sure everyone knows the full truth. They don't provide good customer service and the lady that answers the phone doesn't reply when speaking to her. Her and her boss both are rude and poor customer service. Customers that pay early and on time, an when their system is down, they don't let customers know til the customer calls. Cash n Go Buffalo mo. They lost a customer due to their customer service but they show no care at all.
