I’ve used yellow cabs in Swansea almost every other day for the past 5/6 months recently had a driver that told me himself that certain drivers overcharge to get more money I’m so happy we now have Uber available.
I recently had a horrendous experience with yellow cabs. Their drivers seem to have a knack for taking the longest routes possible, conveniently padding up the fare. It's as if they have a secret competition to see who can rack up the highest bill. I've noticed a significant price difference depending on the driver, which reeks of dishonesty and exploitation. Avoid this company if you value your time and money.

All the agents say is "sorry for that, it'll be 5/10 minutes for a new one" and that one then doesn't show up either

We use yellow cab here tacoma,wa. They simply take advantage of senior residents simply needing to get to near ER by home. It is close about less than half a mile. Basically it is a few blocks and a turn. The dispatchers are always very rude and lie about drivers being available. Drivers try to scam us all the time. Most of the time the meters are not even on to give correct fare. It is not possible to be $11.00 for a normally $5.00 to $6.00 dollar fare based on our true distance. Do not carry large bills if you travel short distance. They will take most of it without asking you if they deserve tips. Carry exactly your fare amount! Do not be taken advantage by drivers. Dash cams need to be installed to monitor and check for scam operation towards customers. It keep happening to us and company do nothing !!!! More honest people are needed or this place need to investigated by the department of transportation for abuse of customers.

The operator at the Swansea office refused to book a ride for me just because my current location was close to the their office. She insisted I walk to the office and book the ride from there. I missed my work resumption time because of this.Even when I got to the office, she maintained a nonchalant attitude. Yellowcab should stop hiring people who are unhappy with the job.

I get Dial A Ride in Tallahasser FL through Star Metro services for disabled. Drivers can’t find my building in a large complex and don’t bother to call for help. I’ve had to reschedule my doctors appointments because of yellow cab drivers. They should have specific drivers for the Dial a Ride program who understand they are dealing with diasabled people.

Booked the day before for pick up at 9:30am. No taxi arrived. tried to call, only get auto service.
Taxi finally arrived at 10:15am. Late for the wedding. No apology from driver, he said no one wants this ride as its only a short distance.

I scheduled a pickup online for today at 12:15. I didn't get a confirmation, so I called. First, they didn't find me. Then they did. I called back an hour later to say they could pick me up earlier if they were available. Was told again, I wasn't in the system. They dispatched someone. That driver called me. Told me it would be a minimum of $47 to pick me up because they were out of my service area. It was already 12:30, so I missed my appointment. I canceled the cab. Then another cab arrives at my door. Seriously, you need to figure out the dispatch. I do travel for work and need to get rides to the airport, but I will think twice before calling this company.

I am writing this review about your Yellow Cab location in Lacey Washington. I called the telephone number three times before it quit looping its Spiel and would never direct me to the dispatcher? Maybe this is done on purpose as the dispatcher on duty was less than completely worthless!!! I had called at 1:45 to schedule a pick up time at 3 o’clock. At 3:15 have not seen my cab so I called to find out why? He informed me my cab was running late and it would be there no longer than 1/2 an hour! 40 minutes later I was back on the phone with him asking where my cab was? He told me it was almost there and it would be no longer than 15 minutes. 25 minutes later I’m back on the phone with This idiot! I informed him I had to meet my ride to get to my grandson’s birthday in Puyallup! He told me the cab was almost there and to just wait 5 more minutes.
SEVEN MINUTES LATER I’m still outside waiting for a flippin cab I ordered 2 1/2 hours earlier so I would not have to SCRAMBLE getting ready for my grandsons 12 year olds birthday party!!!! Luckily my friend, who was there to cover a responsibility I had so I could attend the party, and was trying to give her some time to relax, gave me a ride home as it was way too late to even schedule an Uber!!!! While riding in her car my cell phone rings? The caller states he is my cab driver, but his credit card reader in his cab is acting up and wondering if I could pay cash instead of credit for my ride? I asked him to repeat what he said as I was flabbergasted that he was still not even at the apartment I was at trying to get home!!!! I informed him, and quite profanely I might add, that his dispatcher needed to go back to training for scheduling, being truthful with your customers and customer service in general!! I also told the driver I was headed for a birthday party for my grandson and I was feeling quite generous that day so I was going to tip the driver $10! I also informed him his dispatcher cost him the $10!!! Then I told him I no longer needed a ride and that he could quote me verbatim to his dispatcher and the company!!! I am most positive that his card reader that was supposedly acting up was just fine but dispatch was worried I would get out of the cab and call my bank to stop payment!! Dishonest minds have dishonest thoughts I guess?? I will be trashing yellow cab every chance I get on yelp and in person to anyone I know needing a ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took a wheelchair taxi from Burien WA to Tacoma. The driver of cab 259 was helpful, professional, and an excellent driver. I will call him again if I need a taxi. He also made sure I was be!ted in securely, and pushed my chair inside to the desk.

In ending I want to say that Yellow Cab Dispatcher name Carmen was very very very Professional Helpful and very Caring when I called in to schedule a pickup in the morning to take me to my doctor's appointment. Last of all Carmen is a very Positive Role Model for all young and old workers that work for the Yellow Cab Dispatcher ok smile. Finally too Carmen has very very very Excellent Communication skills and yes she loves her job ok smile.Now last of all Carmen is a very Positive Representative for the Yellow Cab Taxi Company that she works for day in and day out ok take care smile.

I am so sorry I I have wasted my time using yellow cab and being verbally abused by there one and only driver since the COVID-19 began several months ago! I only have this problem in San Leandro, Ca and Management needs to clean house! They have a woman dispatcher that allows there drivers to be rude and behave in a manner which reflects very poorly on their so called Organization! So, I’m happy to say I will never ever use this fly by night operation again! I have decided to go with UBER 100 percent of the time and I’m much happier not having to deal with nasty rude people!
