O Xenaknits
Napisane przez firmę
We are an ethical family business based in the beautiful British Cheshire countryside, offering a fabulous range of high quality yarns, knitting machine sponge kits and needles.
Xenaknits.com started out as a small retail knitting market stall, selling only a few knitting yarns, evolving into a website supplying knitting products around the world.
Because of our exceptional customer service, business stability and fast delivery times, are all contributing to the successful growth of xenaknits.com. Also, we often go above and beyond to help customers because we care about you, our customer.
Whenever possible, we try to stock yarns from ethical sources, such as Fair Trade spinners and knitting yarn dyers.
With some of our Turkish yarns we buy direct from the artisan spinning families, this enables the people who make the yarns to benefit from the product they are producing.
We sell the world-famous award-winning Zuusco sponge bar kits for knitting machines. Maybe you need replacement needles for your knitting machines. We have them in stock, too.
One of the most common questions we are asked is where did the name come from? We had a lovely dog who died of cancer, so we named the business after her, very sad, but we wanted a way to remember her.
We have always loved knitting and yarns, and we hope you visit our website.

Needle bar replacement sponge
The needle bar replacement sponges are excellent, These save a considerable amount of money and are ecologically better than replacing the whole metal bar each time. Easy to use, if a little messy when cleaning the old sponge out. But persevere, its worth it to have a like-new experience when knitting. I have kept a few old bars over the years, and replace several songes at once so that I only have to do the messy bit every so often. I find an old carpet roll is a good way of storing the newly-sponged bars ready for use.

Fast and friendly service
Really fast and friendly service. The sponge bar kit I ordered came with excellent instructions and everything was well wrapped. I'd never changed a sponge bar myself before but I'd definitely do it again myself next time and order from Xena Knits.

Why did I not know about this product before?
Until I 'Googled' replacement sponge bars and your website popped up I had never heard of you or even knew your product existed. I've tried getting replacement sponge bars for about 9 months now but the 'usual' suppliers say imports are difficult and they just can't get them anymore!
Yor product is amazing - so innovative, so simple and yet so obvious (and so affordable). Who on earth thought of it? Your service was exemplary and the kit arrived in a couple of days (post free) with a lovely little handwritten card to say 'happy knitting' - how personalised is that!
I only bought one kit because I wanted to try you and the product out first (passed with flying colours) but I have 3 machines, one of which was desperate for a new sponge bar, but I am now going to purchase a twin pack from you so that I have spares for the others. I hope that you never stop selling this product as it's literally been the answer to my prayers. Thank you so much.

I was really happy about this order
I was really happy about this order, I just wish I could have a tracking number to follow the delivery, as I ordered from France.
Otherwise, the order came in time and was very well packaged.
