I chose Wren Kitchen because of their mass campaign and good reputation in the market. Wren Kitchen selling team and the designer team, was friendly and courteous. That is when they want you to buy their kitchen. Once you signed the paper and paid it, when you have installation issues, their attitude, language, friendliness and courteousness are all gone. This reflects my Wren Kitchen experience.
I went through the kitchen design with Designer D and bought the kitchen in Feb 26. Everything looks good and I signed and paid for the kitchen until the installation started in mid April 26. After the kitchen was built, it became clear that Designer D 1) ignored my requests of fitting the cupboards up to the ceiling and adding grooves to the worktop, 2) did not tell me about the open-bottom cupboards design with panel only covering the front end of the up-cupboard unit and did not show me in the showroom. Also, there is nothing noted about it in the brochure either that I later found out; and 3) purchased cupboard draws without discussing the style with me. By then, Designer D refused to speak to me. All things about installation were handled by Customer Services. So I raised the ceiling gap issues on 16 April 26 and provided email proof of the fitting up to the ceiling request. Designer D admitted his negligence over the last phone call with me; but later denied everything. The customer service refused to accept the proof. Their argument was that I signed off the plan. Wren expect the customer take the full responsibilities. Is there designer accountability? Customer has to bear the full responsibilities because of a signature, while the designer can walk free. Is this fair? If the designer made mistakes, as long as the customer signed off the plan, they can deny everything and be off the hook. Is this kind of service we are paying for?
I have so far had dealing with three customer service people, Advisor G, Case Manager L and Installation Manager S. I provided the full account including factual emails and images related to all three of them and other issues. Advisor G's responses were one sided and based on Designer D’s denied version and had no reference to anything I reported and ignored my evidence. Case Manager L, next, was polite and willing to investigate. Eventually, when he came back with the proposal was no difference to G’s and again ignored my evidence and my account. Furthermore, Case Manager L arranged a phone call with me. I waited for the whole day but he did not call. This was appalling customer services; he could have emailed me to rearrange. My case was then escalated to Installation Manager S who visited the site. Again I explained and provided detailed account of what happened including giving him hardcopies of evidence. He made a report the following day with an even worse proposal, again with little consideration of my account and evidence I provided.
Wren Kitchen Customer Service is the worst I have ever experienced. They don’t put customer first. They don’t listen to the customer. I would not recommend them at all based on my experience.
The thing is that ‘Everyone makes mistake. If Designer D admitted the negligence; if the customer service people were polite and a bit nicer and sincerely apologised, I might have been willing to pay extra installation charge. They were so hard core, lying and being unfair, then let us see if there is a justice out there.
While my Wren customer services experience is very poor, I still like the kitchen. It looks good and good quality. My message to Wren Kitchen is 1) clear and transparent communication with the customer on all aspects of the design; 2) respect and listen to your customers with care and fairness.
My story has not got an ending yet, as I am waiting for Case Manager S to get back to me. He made me wait for a week for a response last week. I wonder if he would make me wait for another week for a response this week. I want this case to be over soon. We are in week 7. In the worse scenario, I have to seek justice through Ombudsman when it gets to 12 weeks. Fingers are crossed.

From start to finish the journey was faultless. Designed to our requirements, fitted to perfection. Did have a problem with a unit door, which was replaced immediately. Now 14months on and no problems, kitchen as new no signs of wear. The main area of concern seems to be the fitting problems by incompetent fitters, and flat pack units, kitchen units are pre assembled infinity plus. Check out the fitters credentials and previous work reviews and hopefully your kitchen as ours would be fitted with precision. Have had many complimentary remarks and questioning which kitchen supplier. Very pleased with the decision to go with Wren.

Wren are very keen indeed to keep in touch up to the point when you sign the contract, but provide very poor customer service thereafter. They changed my kitchen designer twice (so I had three designers altogether) and this led to a series of miscommunications, mistakes and screwups.
They also gave me poor advice (the extractor hood they recommended was inappropriate and had to be returned (I had to buy my my own extractor hood); they agreed to provide flooring (we even agreed the specific floor tiles) but this never appeared on the contract (again, I had to arrange purchase and installation of flooring myself); the Wren surveyor who came to measure up the space prior to design made an error measuring one of my walls of over 22cm! This meant that the units and appliances in the design could not be installed and had to be changed. Such a large measurement error when using modern laser measuring devices is grossly incompetent. One of the designers told me my extractor hood could be vented up my chimney, but I later learned that this is completely untrue. Two builders assured me that no extractor hood is powerful enough to force air up a chimney flue in a two storey house.
There were several other issues too over the entire period.
When I made a formal complaint at the end of the installation, all they offered was to accept a return of the unused extractor and refund it. This is the very least possible remedy they could have offered. They did not offer anything else such as a discount on the final bill (given the sheer number of screwups, poor communication and stress over the more than 12 months of a very expensive project). An extremely unimpressive company.

Absolutely lovely experience, I was contacted 30 mins before to say what time he would be arriving. The guy was polite removed his shoes, got on with the job measured up two rooms and left …(love his hair). Totally efficient organised and polite. Thank you for the lovely experience.

"Extremely disappointed with the service from Wren Kitchens and Bedrooms. We were given a specific delivery date by our salesman, which was a deciding factor for us as we both work and have dogs to coordinate care for. Based on this promise, we organised our entire schedules to be home.
However, once Wren took our full payment, that date mysteriously vanished. We are still waiting for a delivery, and to make matters worse, the staff are now denying that they ever gave us that date in the first place. It feels like we were told exactly what we wanted to hear just to close the sale, and now that they have our money, the customer service has evaporated. Dealing with them has been highly inconvenient and stressful. They simply do not seem to care about the impact their lack of honesty has on their customers' lives. Avoid if you value transparency and reliable delivery."

I finally received a reply from Customer service after my negative review from Millie in customer service . I thought what a shame that it took a negative review for Wren to reply to me but at least the matter can now be finally resolved . Unfortunately , two months later , I am still awaiting a reasonable reply from Millie . So instead of enjoying our new wardrobes which cost us nearly 10k, I have had six months of frustration caused by their errors and delays and rather than actually reading or considering my response to her repetitive emails , I am getting the message . Yes you have had a shoddy service from us but tough!
This shows that they actually don’t care about customer satisfaction once they have received your payment .
Go to a company which will provide a better aftercare when things have gone wrong .
We ordered wardrobes and we had delays and issues once the order had been placed. We went to the store to choose handles only to be told by the fitter that they were incorrect size for our drawer. I was promised a refund for the handles over a month ago. I am still waiting for this to be resolved. Shokingly poor customer service. Basically have no regard for customer's inconvenience yet in their contracts, there are charges listed if you are not there to accept the delivery.

Disappointing Quality and Customer Service from Wren Kitchens
We recently purchased and installed a new kitchen from Wren and have been very disappointed with both the product quality and the way issues have been handled.
When the kitchen was delivered and installed, we discovered visible glue or paint residue inside the oven door glass that cannot be removed. In addition, every kitchen door had glue residue around the edges. We were advised by Wren to try removing this ourselves with a cloth, which we attempted, but it is extremely difficult and not something customers should reasonably be expected to do on brand new units.
At our sales appointment we were told that Wren offers the best quality kitchens in the business. However, we manage a number of rental properties and have previously purchased kitchens from Wickes, B&Q and Howdens. None of those kitchens have ever been supplied with glue residue on the doors or inside the glass of oven doors, so this was quite surprising and disappointing.
New kitchens should not arrive requiring customers to remove manufacturing residue. If replacement doors are required, our contractors would have to return to refit them, creating additional costs that should not be necessary for a newly supplied kitchen.
We were also advised that the hob we originally ordered was unavailable due to a manufacturing issue. However, when we searched for the same model online it appeared to be readily available elsewhere with next-day delivery, which raises further questions.
Overall, this experience has been frustrating. The quality of the units has not met the expectations set during the sales process, and the response to the issues has been to ask customers to try cleaning manufacturing defects themselves rather than addressing the underlying problem.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would be hesitant to use Wren again.

Shout out to Chi at Sheffield! He made us feel at ease, very professional, polite and respectful of our home (not like other sales people we’d had previously!) he went through everything in detail and made sure he explained everything to us carefully. Took the time to bond with hubby (who wasn’t keen on spending money on a new kitchen!) and with our little boy too. Nothing was too much trouble when it came to the measuri no and designing of our kitchen. Just had home visit from Matthew C, Wren home survey team.(arranged by Drakehouse, Sheffield branch). Matthew was extremely polite and personable, explained fully and throughout visit what he was doing and welcomed any questions that I might have. He showed me the survey plans that he was submitting to the branch for My follow up visit the next day to discuss design. If all the home survey team deliver the customer service that Matthew gives I would highly recommend Wren as a potential Kitchen Supplier. Many thanks again to Matthew.
