Worth Ave offers a excellent plan for my needs. Covers my Pixel 10 Xl for less than half of the cost of Assurant. It does have a $75 deductible. If you rarely use your cell phone policy the savings easily pays for the deductible. If you have multiple claims it might not be for you.

Policy does not cover you for the first 30 days
When you buy an insurance policy, you are not covered for the first 30 days if you accidentally break your phone. If you break your phone in the first 30 days, they cover nothing. All of your costs are out of pocket. What is the point of the insurance if they don't provide insurance.

Michael, as a Third Pary Provider, covering new and prior purchased devices, there is a 30-day waiting period for Accidental Damage coverage, which we are transparent about in the terms and conditions (available to be reviewed prior to purchase online) and prior to purchasing. Prior to purchasing online, there is a required short disclosure you must read and manually check for acknowledgment of this, as well as being over 18, monthly/annual renewal payments, and fraud. Theft and Standard Perils coverage starts without a 30-day wait. If you have any further questions or concerns, we can answer or assist with, please contact customer service directly.

But only the Accidental Damage has a 30-day wait (disclosed in the purchase process and listed in the Policy Booklet), the Theft and Stand Perils do not. if you have any additional questions, please contact customer service directly so we may assist you.
