WARNING for ALL carbon face clubs!
I thought I would give this process a try. I emailed the company and was told "In regards to the QI35, we have had very good reviews on that driver. It shaves and responds extremely well to our process. We definitely would recommend that driver" However, as you see below, the process severely damages the look of the club. There are no "before and after" photos on the website and now I see why. There is also not a way to leave a review on their website, they only have positive “testimonials.” When I emailed them, they explained to me the difference between a carbon and titanium face, which I already knew. Their solution was to buy some "auto paint" from an auto parts store and paint it. If I had been warned it was going to look this bad, I would not have sent it in. It's a face with no grooves, which I paid to have redone. The club looks terrible. Instead of offering me a refund, they offered to regroove my next club for free, which I would certainly not do again. I also sent in a 3 wood that actually looks ok, but it did not improve the performance at all. This was not a good experience for me and I wanted others to see some "before and after" pictures before they make the same mistake.
