Very quick delivery
After being let down by a different supplier I ordered a Stihl 248-3 mower at 3pm Thursday and before 10am Friday it was delivered.
Very pleased with the service as I am with the mower.

SIP bandsaw parts support is very poor
The Illustrated Parts List shown on SIP's website is wrong. There are two sets of blade guides; one lower and one upper. The upper one does NOT have the components listed in the IPL. It took SIP nearly two weeks for them to admit that they were wrong and to tell me the correct part number to order. And they make it impossible to talk to a human - every communication is via email!
I suggest viewers look at either a Record Power or an Axminster bandsaw in preference to SIP!

Bought a Stihl FS55R
Bought a Stihl FS55R. Delivery quick but parts missing so head would not turn properly. Asked customer service for assistance and did not get any useful help, although the response was quick. Had to get the part myself and it worked fine.
Very disappointed, and felt I was not listened to.

I am sorry you feel you were not listened too, I can see our team send over information from the manual and were awaiting a response from yourself which we have not received until today where you have notified you have been and purchased an additional part. We of course would have rectified any issues had information been provided.

Great service however watch deliver charges especially in Scotland.
Ordered a protector foot for Stihl Hla86 as it was the cheapest price around. There was a problem with delivery charge putting my postcode into the Highlands (I’m against this behaviour), although I realise it is not the company’s fault. Hats off to the World of Power team as they moved me into a Royal Mail delivery (a lot less expensive). Service top class and would deal with them again. Thanks to all.

Cancelling orders & doubling prices
Placed an order 2 days ago.
They had to cancel because they completely 'ran out of stock' as there would be a 4-6 day delivery time? (which seems standard enough)
Two days later, I receive an email that they're magically fully back in stock - and get sent a link to the same product, which has now doubled in price.
Extremely shady business practices.

The product you ordered was on a promotional price with limited stock, unfortunately we did not have the stock to fulfill the quantity on your order with the promotional price due to stock levels. As per our email to you explaining we could source stock but it would be at the higher usual price.

Item did not arrive
Item did not arrive. I ordered a Makita hedge cutter and on the day of ordering I received an order confirmation. 7 working days later I have not received and further information. Yesterday I contacted the webteam by email requesting information as to what was happening, I did not receive any reply. Today I decided that I was left with no other option other than to cancel the order.

I am sorry you feel you have had a 1* experience with ourselves.
I can see your order was due to leave ourselves today which would have put us 1 working day outside of the advertised delivery time at the point of order. An email would have been sent confirming the dispatch along with all tracking information today.
As you have emailed over a bank holiday weekend when our offices were closed unfortunately you did not receive a reply in the couple of hours which it normally takes, unfortunately we had a large amount of emails over the weekend all of which are answered in order and it looks like we didn’t get to the email you sent yesterday, yesterday, this would have been replied to today.
I can only apologise you feel we let you down on this occasion.
