Because of our schedule, my wife & I chose to do the tour on a Sunday evening which meant many of the restaurants opened a little later than normal. However, Blanca took this in her stride and gave us a tour of Cadiz, taking us to a number of excellent restaurants. She was extremely good company and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening with her.

One of the best experiences of our trip to Rome was truffle hunting with Federico and his dogs! Several things made this a real stand-out experience: 1)Federico is so engaging and so very fun. He provided fun and education! 2) After days of fabulous sightseeing in the city, it was refreshing to have a day in the countryside. 3) His dogs were so precious and fun - great for kids and adults! 4) the meal was great and 5) it was fabulous to engage over lunch with Federico and his father. His father is kind and smart and just overall delightful! DONT MISS THIS if you are looking for a unique, fun experience!

We had a fantastic sightseeing tour with Thien, 4 hours private tour on foot through Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon. We saw many historical places and hidden gems, we would not ever had found ourselves. Thien gave us a great introduction to Vietnamese traditions and culture but especially deep insights about the history of the country. Thien is a great story teller. We had 3 days in Istanbul and booked a food tour for our first day. Our guide canceled the morning of the tour, there was no replacement guide offered, and the company says it will return our money within 10 days. So we have no tour and are out $250 dollars. Will never trust WithLocals again

We had an absolutely wonderful experience exploring Munich with Vanessa! She’s not only incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history, culture, and hidden gems, but she also has such a warm and engaging personality that made the whole tour feel personal and relaxed. What impressed us most was how effortlessly she adapted to our group, even though her preferred languages are English and Portuguese, she happily switched to German when we asked, making the experience even more special and authentic. Her enthusiasm for Munich is contagious, and she managed to bring the city’s stories to life in such a fun and memorable way. We recently met Cesar for a private food-tasting tour in Valencia. As a professional chaf himself, he is extremely knowledgable about the specific preparation details of regional dishes. Perhaps best of all, he is a gentle, warm, and accomodating man... someone you would be fortunate to meet in any setting, not just in his capacity as a guide. Wonderful experience and strongly recommended.

Gelsomina was a wonderful guide. She’s genuinely nice, her English is excellent, and her tasting stops introduced us to new and delicious foods, as well as the classic French baked goods and cheeses. We were extremely impressed with Tini. She is so knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the monuments we visited. In addition she has an extremely pleasant personality allowing us to ask her questions on a wide rage of non-tourist related topics. She is a gem and thoroughly recommended.

Lule was a phenomenal tour guide. He began in the Old Town, going through its history with a very light touch, I learned not only about history, but also ownership practices, the economic drivers of the city’s growth, Swedish character and cust soundoms, he even told me a few stories about Swesish American folkways and their Swedish origins. And while informing, he was funny and very cool. It was a great time and I learned a lot!

We booked time with Bartek, who was wonderful. His knowledge about the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter in Kraków was very impressive. He was also very understanding about my Dad being hard of hearing and trying to make sure he could hear everything. We really enjoyed the experience and would recommended him to everyone!

I’m so happy I booked my custom Istanbul tour with Abdullah. We had to reschedule once due to the protests for Palestine, but Abdullah made sure to give me enough notice and find another date and time that worked for both of us. His knowledge of history and story telling keeps you hooked, wanting to know more and more. I’ve never been much of a history buff, but I am now after meeting Abdullah! I can’t wait to do more research about some of the things he told me. We visited Topkapi Palace and Galata Tower, and he told me the history about Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, which I had visited on my own a few days ago. Abdullah and I walked everywhere, only taking one underground tram. He was kind enough to walk me to my Bosphorous dinner cruise meeting location so I wouldn’t get lost. A real gentleman Masha Allah. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to visit the top sites in Istanbul and learn a little history along the way ❤️
