Wickes - Nottingham Central Recenzje 

Bought a substantial amount of kitchen units online, we’ve had a slight design change and would like some units exchanging…after discussing with customer services, took the unwanted units back to the store and catagorized what I needed in exchange (within the 30 day period)… let’s just say Wickes store management have been as much use as a chocolate teapot… I’ve waited 4 weeks, returned to the store 5 times, dealt with 4 managers and still no progress, I’ve left my unwanted units at the store to which they can’t refund either. I’m lost for words with such an easy task.

Jake was brilliant from start to finish! Very helpful and went above and beyond to help make sure we got what we needed.
Brilliant service 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻(or so we thought).

Reduced rating from 5 to 2 stars for the following reasons.
Although we initially thought Jake was great, he made quite an error with measuring. When our fitter came to fit the kitchen, we had to pay him an additional £150 to move a radiator as the measurements were out by 6”!! When I spoke to Jake about it in an email, he said the fitter should have checked the measurements 16 days before fitting, so any errors or amendments could be dealt with. He said he’s only human and mistakes can happen and that it’s our responsibility to have it checked.
I could understand 1-2cms but not 15cm (6”).
Also had issues with delivery. Everything turned up and appeared to look fine, but when our fitter opened the packaging, some items were damaged. When I phoned up to report the issues, they were very willing to replace items. However……… bear in mind that most fitters will only allocate you a week to fit a kitchen, I was told it would be 2 days before they dispatch the replacements and it could take 3-5 working days for delivery! When I explained I only had the fitter until Saturday, I was basically told that that’s the best the can do. They wouldn’t upgrade the delivery to an overnight, so I had to pay an additional £200 to have the fitter come back. So I was now an extra £350 out of pocket. To top it off, when he came back to fit the the replacement items, the replacements were also damaged! So I had no choice but to let him fit them, as I couldn’t afford to get him back again at a later date.
I spoke to Claire, the branch manager, and although she was apologetic and offered to cover the cost of moving the radiator and refund me for the two damaged end units that the fitter had to install, she didn’t offer to cover the extra charge of me having to pay the fitter to come back.
I feel like the after service could have been better.
My partner and I were hoping to have a new bathroom fitted in the future. One thing we know for sure is we WONT be buying it from Wickes.

Wickes installed a new bathroom - just over 12 months later the shower leaked through the sealant - Wickes hold no responsibility after 12 months - really?
The guarantee was for 2 years but this is considered perishable so any covered for 12 months

Having been shopping in the store for a number of years, it is hard to believe it’s the same place.
Great layout, nice and bright, very warm and a very enticing showroom displays.

The newly refurbished store is amazing. Product ranges well signposted and very modern look to the store now. Staff are really helpful particularly the duty manager Kristian who went out of his way to help me.

Jake came out yesterday to help us design our new kitchen very helpful and friendly made us feel at ease.

We had excellent service from Kristian with a plumbing problem , he told us he liked a challenge , and helped us to resolve the issue.

Very helpful member of staff (Bryn) showed me the items that I was looking for and advised me on the correct items that I needed. Very polite and friendly.

Went in to Nottingham queens drives store. Was unsure on some things.
Stacey was excellent and within 10 mins had everything we needed and delivery was placed.

Maddison and Raghu were really helpful at the Nottingham store. The store has been refurbished since last visit and looks amazing. Also it seems to have a lot of wide variety of products. I will definitely visit again.

Tracey was so helpful, she ordered everything what I requested for and set me up with a trade account. She was very helpful and cheerful, a good asset too the company.

Amazing experience as there was great customer service throughout the store, however the member of staff at the till, Bryn exceeded all expectations. Extremely patient and thoughtful whilst offering great opinions and service. Can’t wait to shop again at Wickes Nottingham.

I have been using Wickes for many years as a very keen DIYer and have to say the new store look and functionality is great, Clare the new manager has breathed new life into the place and it shows! Love the reorientation of the aisles it makes for a much better shopping experience.

Made a visit to the new look Nottingham Central store which looks great after it’s refit. The staff were very friendly and helpful pointing me in the right direction and answering a couple of questions in relation to my purchase. Met Clare the store manager who was lovely and very helpful. I would definitely revisit this store again due to the helpfulness of the staff.

Visited the newly refurbished wickes store in Nottingham today and was very impressed with the new improved layout. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and I found the products I needed easily and at a competitive price. Well done to all the team as I know the store remained open during all the refurbishing works - very impressive!
