Needed to buy some floor boards. Had no idea what to buy. Luckily Jamie was on site to help . He helped us regarding what we needed and showed us the right product. Also explained the process of laying floor boards correctly. Thank you Jamie.

Staff very helpful, especially Jamie who helped us check stock of tiles and get it ready for us to put in our car

What a lovely lad, Benjamin hin name was, was so helpful, I didn't know what sand I needed and Benjamin took the time while the store was busy to explain to me what all the different types of sand are used for, thank you Ben :)

FERN, what an absolute gem! Customer service was brilliant, top tier banter and laughs. Couldn’t fathom figuring out wickes but she made it so much easier! Funny, helpful and kind! WELL DONE !!

Shocking service just called into the Dewsbury branch now and there were 6 reduced fence panels. There was a member of staff sat on the floor restocking a shelf and my partner asked him how much are these normally, the guy tutted and said the price is right there on the end. My partner said I know, I’m wanting to know the price they normally sell for. The guy signed and said well you if you walk up there to where the others are you’ll be able to see. Despite his unwillingness to help, we decided we were going to take 4 of them. My partner said to me I might ask at the till if they’ll do a bit more of a deal of we take all 6. The guy then dropped what he was doing to follow us to the till. When we asked if took all 6 could we have them for £15 instead of £18, he interrupted us and said to the girl serving us no, don’t let them they are already reduced, no further discount. The girl who served us seemed shocked by this and said sorry we usually do but looks like I’ve been overruled, she was lovely and apologetic. As we were leaving we decided we really weren’t happy with what had happened and his attitude towards us and wanted to raise a complaint. We went back in to ask for the name of the guy. The girl on the till wasn’t there, we asked another guy and he said James, why? We said we are making a complaint and he said well then I’m not giving you his name. Appalling customer service.

I visited this branch recently and was served by Fern it was a great experience, I was seen to swiftly and professionally I will definitely use this branch again . Thank you very much Fern for making my trip a pleasure.

What started off as a difficult situation as someone had removed a part from a package that I purchased at another store. I was then told by the assistant that I had to take the incomplete part back to the store I bought it in for an exchange or refund. That would have taken me two hours driving. Jack, the Operations Manager of the Dewsbury store, came out to me in the car park to say that he would like to help and had thought of a way that I could avoid the drive. I was delighted. I could spend more precious time with my family. Please thank Jack for me. It is great dealing with someone who cares so much about their Customers and the reputation of their employer.

Tasha was really helpful in getting me the things I needed, giving good advice

3 weeks of searching for what I need. B&Q , Screwfix , local stores all out of stock.

Got what I needed. Tasha was awesome when I couldn’t locate my items in the store.

She juggled two tills to keep customers flowing and was really cheerful and a pleasure to all customers with a really busy queue.

Just been to wickes in dewsbury,asked 2 men for some help with some measurements for paving slabs these two men were very very helpful put myself and my husband at ease with our purchase.
These two men were Simon and Jamie
2 very polite and patient men would highly recommend going to these 2 again, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE WELL DONE Simon and Jamie
