Wickes - Blackheath Recenzje 

I submitted a review on 27th to Wickes and asked to follow up. There was a blib in doing so via Trustpilot hence, I asked Wickes to provide an email address but have had no response to that? I will now give details here (although it was not my intention to publicise the lack of interest in the Sales Staff at the branch noted below for everyone to see. I simply wanted Wickes Complaints Staff to help me to complete my order before 2nd November when the discount ends). I ask Wickes via Trustpilot if the Quote is not finalised by 2nd November, would you PLEASE EXTEND THE DISCOUNT TO ME?

From the start of this process on 6th October, it has been made clear that my husband and I wished to purchaseour bathroom makeover from Wickes. Your staff on the Till at this branch are very helpful and friendly, always have been. The Sales Staff are unhelpful and unfriendly, one has to persevere to get answers from bored staff whom we have seen on their mobiles. So frustrating. Wickes should go incognite as a customer and ask for help and you will see for yourself.

I will not mention the member of staff's name here but I am happy to provide via email direct to you the number of emails back and forth in trying to finalise my order.

It was a long meeting of 2 hours on 6th October and by the end of it we were overwhelmed as Sales Person wasn’t that helpful and later my husband and I came to the conclusion that he was defensive because he wasn’t equipped to do the job, he didn’t have the knowledge. We have to continue to hold that view as otherwise we are telling you that you have a Sales Person not interested in doing his job.

Having fully advised what we wanted being a shower cubicle in black, with black taps throughout, laminate panels tongue and groove, had selected a cabinet in green along with same colour vanity unit – so it should have gone smoothly but it hasn’t. Back and forth with emails – excessive. Further, on the day of 1st meeting, we mentioned we had to choose floor tiles but we were not told until later (see email trail which I can send you as verification) that these would have to ordered separately – which is fine but would have been good to be informed on the day.

2 Quotes received, the last one marked Version 6 dated 17 October but we didn’t receive 6. Queries outstanding still. Neither of the 2 quotes provided a breakdown of the cost itemised £2951.89 for Showering Items and we have consistently tried to obtain that breakdown but told it will only be given when we place an order. Why will the Sales Person not provide an itemised Quote – we have grave concerns that the order will be placed and we find that we are missing items or wrong items delivered, this member of staff’s lack of transparency on a simple transaction is frustrating and holding up our purchase. I ask, ss this Wicke’s policy or the policy adopted by the Sales Person not to provide an itemised Quote – please advise? Consistently said we want to buy from Wickes that we have a plumber lined up but we cannot get the itemised Quote with the correct items within. Complaints Department please help with this?
The member of staff struggled to produce a 3D design on the day of meeting and became defensive. Despite asking for a clear design, this has not been received.

This is a summary of the situation, too much to write in this Trustpilot Review but I hope Wickes Complaints Dept will now step in and help us complete this sale by 2nd November at the latest to obtain the discount being offered OR if it cannot be completed that Wickes will EXTEND the discount to enable the order to be finalised. Thank you.

I had a fully installed kitchen by Wickes costing thousands of pounds. Wickes use approved suppliers to install the kitchen and promote it as an end-to-end service. As part of the installation, it was necessary to install floor tiling. Within a year a crack appeared on one of the tiles. A technical review concluded the splintering was caused by failure to ensure a 6mm expansion gap was left which is in breach of British Standards. To date, Wickes have failed to rectify this issue, arguing the installation of floor tiling was not covered by their workmanship guarantee. This is despite the fact the work was done by Wickes' approved supplier at the time of the kitchen installation. Wickes were fully aware before the project began that flooring requirements would be decided once the condition of the sub flooring could be assesed when the old kitchen was dismantled.

After lengthy delays, Wickes argued the works were not covered by their workmanship guarantee and therefore any claim would be against their approved supplier not Wickes.

This situation has arisen because Wickes / approved supplier failed to include the flooring on the home survey form (which was originally completed before the kitchen was dismantled so could not have been included at the time it was originally completed).

My recommendation to anyone who is still minded to use Wickes for a major kitchen installation is to ensure that all works are included on the store-generated paperwork - particularly if elements are included after the original scope of works is agreed. Otherwise they'll weasal out of correcting any faults that arise .

Hayley has helped me multiple times .
She is very very energetic and open minded .
I wish that I could find her type of person on all WICKES branches .
But unfortunately is not happening.
I had asked Mrs Hayley for help and advice and she has given as much as she knew.
She was very open , FRIENDLY, and with a big smile on her face .
VERY , VERY satisfied with her customer service she provided me personally.

I came into Wickes Blackheath today to return a grinder that was missing a part. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t in the best mood and expected a difficult returns process. The initial staff I spoke to weren’t very sure about the item. They called their colleague Peter, who has great knowledge of the products. From the moment Peter came over, I knew he would make sure it was ok.

He completely took care of the situation and didn’t make me feel awkward at all. He was calm, professional and a genuine gentleman. He showed me how to put the grinder together properly and even gave me some really helpful safety tips I hadn’t considered.

I ended up buying some much-needed gloves and Peter also helped me choose the right grinding disc and gravel for the job I’m doing at home.

Very grateful for his help today — Wickes are lucky to have him. If you go to Blackheath, ask for Peter!

I'm a very regular visitor to Blackheath Wickes, which is my go to place for materials as I work on a development very close by.

I know most of the amazing people who work there, but this morning, at 8am, I desperately needed some bespoke paint which Hannah did her absolute best to get sorted out, but due to the paint mixing computer not being fully up to date, she was not able to help, but being her usual amazing self, she made some phone calls and organised me to get this picked up at another branch.

She didn't need too, but as usual Hannah went above and beyond to help out and I was able to get a critical job completed today. She is an asset to the company.

Really appreciate your help today.

I booked a kitchen design consultation - it was booked for one hour, the lady was late to start (totally fine, i looked around) but then finished it in 10min - no sitting down together to talk over cabinet with shelves vs drawers option, no discussion over what would optimize the space. Took some basic parameters and that's it. Got my drawings the following day - I asked her to do them im both Ohio and Chester ranges, only got the ohio range. Asked her to ensure the design includes dishwasher and washing machine - no washing machine in the design. Sink was not in the place I wanted it to be. Wall units missing on one wall. Extractor fan shoot sketched to go to the stairs (how would that even be possible????). Total waste of time. I could have done a better job playing around with the cupboards on a piece of paper myself,very disappointed

I regularly visit the Blackheath store and Hayley is always very friendly and helpful.

Always happy to help me to find what I like to buy .

Visit this store in black heath multiple times a week... The staff here are some of the best people I've had the pleasure of meeting... Friendly, easy to approach and always on point...

I visited the Blackheath store today to purchase some decorative stones. The bags was very heavy and difficult to lift but one of the store members called Hayley assisted me without being asked. Hayley was very kind, she lifted the bags off the shelf and placed them in my trolley.

It’s hard to find good staff members these days that genuinely want to help and Hayley is one of those rare gems!

Anna and Hayley were very helpful. Really accommodating. Will definitely return.

Convenient for parking and well stocked. Been using it for years but especially in the last few weeks while prepping a house for sale. The staff - Haley is it? And Hutch - are great fun and always helpful.

This is the short version of what could be a very long write-up:
- I ordered a door
- The scheduled delivery didn't arrive, and there was zero notification
- I called Customer Services, and rescheduled for the next available day. Again it didn't arrive, again no notification, and no follow-up
- I called CS again, but asked them to contact the manager at Wickes Blackheath to find out why the door wasn't being delivered before rescheduling. Later I got a notice that it had been scheduled for the next day, but for the third time it failed to turn up.
- On my fourth call to CS I was told that someone had cancelled the order (it doesn't show cancelled in my Wickes account, and no-one knows who or why it was cancelled)
- I had a call from someone at the store, but she had no info and said she'd ask the mgr to call. That was 3 hrs ago. There was no call

In all this, I've had zero notifications for failed deliveries before or after. No-one has any explanation for why the door hasn't been delivered. Seemingly no-one takes records of failed deliveries, no-one can ask the delivery driver, and no-one is prepared to actually do anything at all to get this door delivered.

Everything just goes into one big black hole, and no-one at Wickes gives a sheet...

Great bathroom renovation experience with Sadia at Wickes Blackheath who made our bathroom renovation a breeze. She was thoughtful, conscientious and friendly designer and project manager.

The Wickes bathroom installers were brilliant and went above and beyond.

I really liked the floor we go which was panels of marble: Novocore White Marble Pre-Grouted Tile Effect SPC Luxury Vinyl Flooring - 1.97m2.

Also the wall panels in herringbone pink are gorgeous but we did have a few deliver issues from the supplier (not Wickes) but Sadia and the installers sorted it out quickly.
