Wickes - Bishops Stortford Recenzje 

Tried to design and book a kitchen through wickes, had multiple issues throughout the process, delivery for the wrong kitchen was arranged, called 4 times to cancel the delivery due to design delays, they still tried to deliver the wrong kitchen. Called 4 weeks ago to cancel and obtain my 10% deposit back, after calling 9 times to chase, I still don’t have my deposit back due to ‘IT issues’ because of a proof of delivery of a kitchen I never got. Would not recommend in any case, looking forward to when I get my deposit back for a service I did not receive.

Does not even warrant one star. Wickes kitchen doors ordered. 1 st delivery came and was half of the wrong order. The next delivery came only half delivered and 4 doors were broken. The second part came, again 2 doors broken. The third delivery came of 2 doors and one of them was broken. It is a complete disorganized mess. I have lost money on organizing kitchen fitters twice!! I would NEVER ever buy a kitchen from Wickes. I never had one problem at all with Wren Kitchens in the past. The delivery service that Wickes use, DX are atrocious and their customer help service is abysmal. This is not Aintree branch. It is Bishop's Stortford but it won't let me update it!

Big shoutout to Karen in the Bishop’s Stortford store. I couldn’t find the items I was looking for and Karen quickly offered her help. She checked that the items were in stock but not on display but said that, due to a recent delivery, it may be difficult to access them in the warehouse. She checked where they were and then arranged for a colleague to get them off high shelving with the forklift. She then went through a large box of assorted products and found the items for me. And all with a cheerful, can do attitude throughout. Thank you Karen!

Having decided to replace our bath with a shower we went to Wickes Bishops Stortford to look at possibilities.
Having tracked down the "bathroom consultant" he began to behave rather like a pound shop Basil Fawlty. Rudeness, dismissive and rambling on about "if we crack one of your tiles....."??? Having made it clear he didn't feel like doing us the favour of discussing the issue we left!
If a company does not wish to undertake a job - it is entirely acceptable.
Rudeness, bad attitude and talking nonsense are not.
Wickes marketing budget on TV adds is wasted whilst some staff have customer service skills rooted in the 1960s!
When we do want a new bathroom, kitchen or DIY supplies.......It certainly won't be from Wickes.
Dreadful experience!

Disgraceful. Placed an order online. Was told it'll be delivered between 7am - 7pm.
Waited at home all day, and rescheduled my entire day to be at home.
Got a text the day before delivery to confirm delivery and that driver will contact when enroute.
No calls.
No communication whatsoever.
No delivery.

I waited beyond the time. Still nothing.
I logged into my order online and it said to contact customer services.

So, having already spent time and money with Wickes, they have failed to deliver or communicate why they failed at a simple task of a delivery that I paid for, their expectation is to put the pressure on the customer (me) to contact them.

After going through all the options of pressing many '2's no luck and I keep trying.

Nobody picks up from the store and nobody picks up from the delivery team.

I've spoken to their customer services and they can't get through to their BS branch.

We visited the Bishops Stortford branch of Wickes to purchase a new tap for the kitchen. Due to it leaking and keeping me awake all night. Much to my surprise a very kind gentleman called Tyler, listened to my problem and carefully looked at the tap I brought in and suggested he could identify the defected part and advised me the most cost effective way to repair it. After a few minutes he had removed part of the tap that needed replacing, which I purchased at a cost of £6, as opposed to a new tap which was £100.
So thank you Tyler and well done for providing an excellent level of customer service. Kind regards Lynne Walker

Had a kitchen installed from Wickes, the Sanford range, looks amazing, really pleased with the finish and workmanship. Out kitchen fitter David Griffin was very meticulous and attention to detail was spot on!

We booked an appointment with Wickes for a Kitchen & Bathroom design consultation with Hasan Ozturk. Prior to the appointment, we called the store to confirm we were expecting him, and we also received an email confirmation stating he would attend. However, we waited for three hours and he never showed up. This was extremely unprofessional.

Wouldn’t even give one star if I could write a review without doing so.

I Had a kitchen fitted 9 and half years ago. It was a mess from the start, cupboards not measured to fit the length of the previous kitchen, so I had a large panel of raw plaster left, a worktop was chipped , dented hob, wrong taps and handles ordered.Under the plinth where lights had been fitted raw wires were left for us to sort out. The “bespoke” fitter wasn’t interest in fixing anything or helping and the supervisor I kept calling at Wickes would never return my calls. I’m writing this now as today all these years later a plumber fitting a new boiler has just told me when they fitted the kitchen the outdoor gas pipe that runs all the way along the house which would of been removed for the new gas cooker is virtually just hanging away from the wall and been bodged when it was put on not clipped close to the brick wall as it should be, also a isolation point should have
been installed with the new cooker, the plumber just asked where it was and I had to tell him nothing had been installed at the time, he said he couldn’t believe it was not fitted. Marvellous, more money now being spent to have those two expensive jobs fitted. Do not purchase their kitchens unless you still want to be finding issues ten years later!

Reply received, but doesn’t mean anything and won’t help with the stress and expense Wickes has cost and is still costing me!

We are in the process of getting a new kitchen, Thankfully from day 1 we have had the help and advice from Hasan,He is utterly fantastic, Nothing is to much trouble,he is full of advice ideas and has the patience of a saint.
He is a credit to Wickes.

Salvatore at Wickes in Bishop Stortford was an excellent kitchen designer taking all of our requests into consideration, being incredibly patient whilst we thought about the layout options and worked to try and get the best deal possible. Really appreciate all the help and what could have been a bit of a daunting experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing the finished fitted kitchen

Collected a pre-arranged order on 18 May and then visited the store 3 more times on that day to buy more materials for a patio I was laying with my son. The staff were very helpful - including helping to load the car each time - and the parking, queuing and paying experience very easy and efficient. Thanks to the team.

Chesney demonstrated both subject knowledge expertise and exceptional customer care in the Bishops Stortford store this morning. I called to ask about materials and method of replacing the wooden sides of my disabled parents raised flower bed, he was very sensitive and kind when I sadly explained my father had recently passed away. I will return to purchase all the required items once I’ve used my new tape measure!

Bought Lifestyle kitchen. Arrived without and damage visible to packaging. When opening to assemble, parts damaged, laminate chipped, badly made and fixings missing (contained in sealed bags). Obviously no quality control at all.
Staff in store very apologetic and helpful, but Customer Services awful. Refused to replace damaged items as outside 30 day time limit, but as packaging was okay and space limited had not opened them until needed. Had not expected such rubbish when doing so. Avoid if you want something decent.

I was slight confused which product to purchase regarding a cracked attic door. Andy kindly advised me on the correct product and found additional items needed like vice clamps and wood pieces. It was such a pleasure to talk to and would love if this feedback could reach him as there was no manager available to speak to. Other staff have always been super pleasant also.

Incredible team will bend over backwards to help you. Kind, knowledgeable and very helpful indeed. They also get bonus points for keeping the remains of my bumper which was lost in a moment of idiotic parking (mine!) for two weeks before sending it back to me. If I could give 6 stars I would have!

Wow! Best service I have had in a hardware store in years. Wickes has disappointed me recently and I have gone elsewhere but today I couldn’t have had more help if you tried. Andy took me round and helped me get exactly what I needed - thank you !!!

Refund dealt with in an efficient, professional and courteous manner. Staff helpful and friendly.

In Bishops Stortford Branch a lady called Sylvie went to great length to find a carbon monoxide alarm in a 'nothing is too much trouble' way. Well done Sylvie and Wickes
