Ordered a new front door , the sales assistant was really helpful and helped set my app up on my phone.The staff were really helpful.
The door was delivered at the confirmed time and construction and finish was really good.

I was in the store, at the till, when I realised I did not have my phone to pay, Chris rang my number to see if I had dropped it in the shop. The Peaky Blinders theme could not be heard, so he said he would ring it again when I got to my car, and sure enough it had fell under the seat.
I was then able to make my purchase, and it was all thanks to Chris, you are a star. Thanks again.

Kitchen - consultation, design, purchase all brilliant. We were dealing with Paul who gave us great advice and it was like he was going to be using the kitchen himself the way he thought things through for us, his colleague, Andy was also helpful. Extra special mention to Cate who helped us resolve a few issues with the suppliers. Cate was quick to come back on all queries and often thought out of the box to get things resolved. The in store team for Wickes are exceptional.

The staff at this store are really nice. Catia and another colleague helped me to register a TradePro account with all the patience. It is greatly appreciated.

We visit this store A LOT! one of the cheapest places around us and conveniently close to their competitors Screwfix, Toolstation and Travis Perkins. However Wickes has been cheaper for most items. Staff in here are very friendly. Kerri served us yesterday, as friendly and helpful as ever with our demands for tiles from the back because I couldn't see them on the selves. They did get them for us. One member of staff wasn't 18 so couldn't serve us for something so nice to see they take age restrictions seriously in this store, the girl involved was very polite about not being able to serve us though. As a regular to this store staff male you feel welcome and make an effort to get to know you. Talking about our chickens or when a member of staffs birthday was coming up. Better than B and Q. Cheaper too.

I almost went through with having a kitchen fitted and it was a horrible experience, I am still waiting to be refunded . First plan didn’t work and I had to change the type of hob and worktops after the fitters assessment. Finally finalised the design , thinking it would all be ok and then I get messages from the appliance company asking me to arrange delivery . I also get a call from a different fitter , asking to arrange for a survey . I contacted customer services who explained I hadn’t had a customer coordinator allocated as the original fitter had t uploaded his survey . She told me not to worry and that everything was ok and she would email me to confirm . I didn’t get an email so I rang the next day and spoke to someone else , who told me the same , said they would check everything and get back to me . Still no email . On the third attempt I was fed up and the customer service advisor was better, but still couldn’t allocate a coordinator . When I asked him to investigate he advised my worktops hadn’t been ordered and would be late . I’d have to have temporary ones . I ended up cancelling my order through lack of faith . The store manager wasn’t bothered and was more annoyed that she had to contact the warehouse and suppliers rather than the fact that they had let me down . I wouldn’t recommend them at all as once your order is placed , the communication is terrible. I’m still waiting for my refund of £4k and need to source a new kitchen (update posting this review meant my refund went through very quickly ) . Customer service is awful .

Tried to book an appointment for a supply and fit. Received a rather condescending call stating firstly they cannot attend the changed appointment time, though I had not changed anything, then the chap asked me where I was up to with my renovation project and told me I'd requested the wrong type of service and started asking me if I'd put a wish list together! Thought the whole point of an appointment was so a representative could talk through options? If I knew what I wanted why would I ask for a consultation? Ended up abruptly finishing the call and telling him I'll go elsewhere. Didn't seem bothered at all.

Eric head of our installation team was great explaining things to help us make little changes to the design after the survey was completed. Fitted quickly and with care throughout the process.

Took some paint back for a refund, was told the Manager would sort the refund as soon as he was off the phone. Left it all day and phoned in the evening as no sign of payment.
Was told store had been busy, but assistant would get the manager again to put refund into my bank account. Still nothing.
Next day I contacted Customer Services and again was told it would be sorted within 24 hours, and guess what! Still no refund.
Very dissatisfied with this company, will not be giving them my custom ever again.

We first met Paul Dunne, Design Consultant at Wickes Birkenhead about 15 years ago when we bought units for our small kitchen. Paul was absolutely superb, so much so, we recommended our sister in law to Paul who bought her kitchen and bathroom from him and about five years ago, friends who bought many units and appliances for their large kitchen. We are now doing a new project and are re-siting our new kitchen. Without hesitation, we returned to Wickes and contacted Paul to book a design consultation with him. His expertise, professionalism, patience and experience was, as ever, excellent and faultless. Again, there was that knowing familiarity, second time round, that we were in safe hands. So as returning customers, we are delighted with our new kitchen which is to be fitted in October. Paul is a fine ambassador for your Company and represents Wickes to an extremely high standard. We will continue to recommend Wickes to our friends and family.

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. April at Wickes Birkenhead did the design for the kitchen and the two installers, Mal and John did a fantastic job. They were meticulous in everything they did. I would recommend them to anyone.
