Poor quality with little taste.
This company supplies much of the food to the restaurant in the building where l live(an independent living facility with extra care). The quality is at best, poor and tasteless. Many have very few of the ingredients you expect. A recent beef stew portion contained just 3 small pieces of beef in a thin gravy with a few carrots, potatoes and leeks. It looks unapitising and has little taste. A majority of our residents agree and, although we pay for each meal without option, many don't have a meal. The kitchen, thankfully, offers a couple of alternatives such as omelette, salad or sandwiches but these have to be ordered the night before. Our complaints fall on deaf ears and we simply have to pay each week and choose whether to eat or not.
If your thinking of Wellfed as a potential meal supplies, make very sure they can supply the quality you need.
