We were a small accounting and booking business for 30 years plus, we used this software for over 10 years for all our 70 plus clients. It is very diverse and easy to use for all different types of businesses. I have since retired and I still us this free software for a cash accounting, for a small charity shop I run at our local church. Thanks to VT even at the age of 68 I still find it easy to use.

Been their customer for 10+ years. No-nonsense software. I have tried them all. Xero, Quickbooks, Freeagent. Nothing beats this good old software > VT.

Data entry can be done at a lightening speed and works very well with other systems.

I have been using this package in my accountancy practice for 3 years, and I recommend it to everyone. Easy to use, great functionality, extremely easy to get excel reports that can be searched and sorted.

Amazing functional and easy to use accounting software. Everyone who needs to move from Excel to being fully Making Tax Digital compliant should look at this option, which is cost effective and a joy to use. I started it use it for this reason and came to it after loking at Sage and Xero which are much more expensive.

I've just started using this product to replace another desktop software I used for a long time. Took the hump with my old program of choice because they have jacked up their prices for reduced functionality. There's a 60 day free trial with this and I will have no hesitation paying for it when it runs out. I've been looking for a desktop software replacement for those 'once a year' customers that don't, and won't need cloud for their MTD returns when they are phased in for them, I'm so happy I've found this. There's a free cash book, the Transaction Plus that I use £75 plus VAT per year for unlimited clients, there's an option for a more advanced option again that produces final accounts for Companies House. I can't believe how easy it is to use, its fast too. The interface may not look as flashy as others but at the end of the day all bookkeeping programs are just databases and spreadsheets with an interface, if it does the same job for my practice as the older one I had I'm not bothered about looks. Will be MTD compliant by June too.
