Very fast and professional turn around from a coolant system pressure test to the installation of the new water pump. The staff are friendly and happy to help. I will definately be coming back when i need repairs in the future.

During a recent car service for my VW Golf at another provider I was informed that I needed some work done by a VW specialist and was pointed in the direction of VolksMaster Oldham.

Bringing it in for that work and a full service & MOT, Jakk was the service advisor who got me booked in smoothly, and swiftly took care of any questions I had during the time my vehicle was in (and kept me updated as the work progressed). Zak was the technician who uploaded an in-depth video very shortly after I brought my car in with a full walk through of any issues that had been found. The video was very thorough and I really appreciated the high level of professionalism already on display by the team.

The work agreement form following the initial inspection was simple to use, and the work was completed to a high standard. The team were professional and friendly throughout, I'd definitely be coming back here to keep my vehicle cared for.

Totally unprofessional was there to find out ac leak which they stated 105£ price as I told them there is leak some where the same responses they give me there is leak but need to find more investigation need and charged 105£ for nothing one hour and if I want to more investigation they will charged more, didn’t do nothing just insert n .gas and wait for leaking. I paid them. I was halford before them I paid online 35£ for ac gas leaking and they check there is leaking but they can’t find out and said we didn’t go you require service and we are refunded you your money back without any problem

Following on from my last review where a health check helped us reject car and get a full refund. We managed to find a car, little bit older but great condition, it did come with a 3 month warranty and the option to extend. After reading through the terms of the warranty and realising it would all come down to wear and tear should we need to claim we decided to use the cost of said warranty to go back to VolksMaster Ashton road. The car had had a service on purchase but we suspected it was just fluid top ups so booked in for full service, timing belts on Skoda guidelines have changed but after reading that tensioners pulleys and water pumps can cause catastrophic belt failure we booked in for that. Decided the price was so reasonable we had the dsg gearbox service too. Kat on reception was very knowledgeable and explained the cost breakdown and checked to see if it ever had the timing belt replaced before we went ahead. For the same cost as a warranty we had all the major work done and had a full health check included. Received a video showing all the parts we cannot bend to see and now have peace of mind. Not only did we get a clear documented breakdown of the work but they also gave our car a good clean inside and out, couldn’t be more pleased and are really surprised that the car actually sounds and feels much better to drive. Highly recommended

I'm very impressed with Volksmaster and would definitely recommended them.

I had a problem with my car which felt hesitant in responding under gentle acceleration at 1500rmp in all gears but didn’t reappear at higher revs. My local garage had been unable to diagnosed the fault. Volksmaster accurately diagnosed and repaired the fault.

So what's impressed me:-
The diagnosis of the fault. I received a video of the inspection with a commentary of what was happening.
An accurate quotation with no added extras and a full log of the work done.
Very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Phone calls were answered promptly. Also I was sent reminder texts.

I'm a very happy customer and will use Volksmaster again.

I’ve had a fair amount of work done at the Ashton Road branch and honestly, I can’t fault these guys. A trustworthy and professional garage that works to manufacturer standards.

I recently had some concerns about a misfire and was advised to replace the ignition coils. I was a little sceptical at first, but decided to go ahead with their recommendation. The diagnosis was absolutely spot on — the misfire has completely disappeared and the car is now driving smoother than ever.

It’s reassuring to find a garage you can trust to diagnose problems properly rather than just replacing parts unnecessarily. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.

I was recommended by a friend, however, I was very disappointed with the service and the poor communication I received from volksmaster at Hollins Road branch. I was given a quote for several repairs. On booking in for my second job I was told the price had increased by £130.00 as the quote is valid only for 2 weeks even though it states on my quote in black and white it is valid for 30 days. Upon the conversation person named Jordon apologised several times stating the quote he gave was an assumption and incorrect as he did not speak to the mechanics! I was passed on to the manager who was rude and came across very abrupt, and when I informed her I would escalate just said “fine ok.”
This is very poor and unprofessional not to mention unfair and illegal. Very disappointing and would never expect to be treated in such a way from a highly rated garage.

New what they were talking about.fast prompt service no dragging the labour charge out.even with a small niggle the next day they worked around me to sort the problem. The issue was the ad blue tank that needed replacing the price was a lot cheaper than the main agents. Also the reception were really welcoming and the mechanic explained in layman's terms.
