Cheap materials and expensive price tags. Why is polyester and spandex used for most of clothing? Those are the cheapest materials.

Venus advertised an item that I've been using for years, re-ordered multiple times over the years and ordered by the specific item number. I was disgusted to see that the cut on the item had changed the material was substandard and the company charge double the cost I used to pay for the same exact item. Do not order anything from Venus they are scamming by using an inferior product I believe you can find an item at Walmart that is better. After all these years I will never ever buy from Venus swimwear again.

I have been buying Venus plus size bathing suits for years. There is no selection in plus size clothing now. If you find a bottom you can’t find a top to match. It’s extremely difficult on the website to put together a two piece swimsuit and the colors and patterns haven’t changed in years. I see from other reviews that the company changed hands. So I guess that’s why. Poor quality no selection and high prices.

I have loved Venus for years. But since the transition to a new company, they have taken sales section out. And clothes i used to see on sale for $15 are now listed for $69. There's never enough inventory. I have money in credit and I just wish I could get my money back instead. Very very sad what happened to one of my favorite clothing company! :(

I loved Venus up until the new owners took over. Now, the inventory is basically non-existent and overpriced. A huge disappointment. I ordered from Venus all of the time. Now I can't find anything I like!

Let me start off by saying I’ve spent thousands of dollars with Venus over the years and have been very pleased. This is my first time trying to order since the new ownership (American Exchange Group) and when I went into my account, they have since deleted all of my previous orders (probably so I can’t compare prices) and I also noticed the swimwear prices are extremely higher than before.I could easily get some bikini bottoms for less than $30, now it’s over $50! I’ve never seen so many “SOLD OUT” items on Venus website before (that’s not a good sign). The return policy has also changed not to mention the demographic of their models on the website and brochures have changed to a more lighter shade🤨 But like everything else, all good things must come to an end. Venus was one of my favorite online shopping sites but not anymore.

for many years Venus is my store for everything, its been few years the designer changed and the styles are crap, sorry for saying and HM or other stores have better designs then venus. im very sad about this.

I wanted to exchange a pair of jeans for a diffferent size. I was told Venus is going through a "transitional" time and they are not honoring exchanges or returns. As of this morning, their website states they will accept returns and exchanges.

I use to buy ALL my tops from Venus but in the last two years their styles have diminished and their pricing has increased. It is sad, I don't purchase from them now because whoever these new stylists they've brought on catered to the exception not the mass. Their designs do not constitute the pricing. I have friends I introduced to Venus saying the same thing. They appealed to the wrong audience and ruined a great name and staple. Good luck, I continue to wish you the best because apart from a miracle you may not be around in time to come unless you make some drastic changes. I will always be rooting for you but definately not buying from you.

I used to be a customer with a Venus credit card account for over 15 years. I always loved that getting older doesn't mean you have to look old. Venus’s clothing was the type that you could still look good in without seeming old or, on the flip side, trampy. I used to order every other month for years, and lately, the line has declined in appeal. Maybe one item when I used to buy 10 or more. I haven't purchased a thing in over 6 years. Nothing is appealing. Simply put their clothes are ugly AH!

I love everything I’ve ordered. I just wish the shipping was faster and more sizes were available

Pedí un traje verde oscuro y me lo enviaron en color rojo. Y el modelo no es igual qué el que muestran en su página y la calidad del tejido tampoco.

Pedí un traje verde turquesa y me han mandado una chaqueta y un pantalón beige y un abrigo negro.
Todo super pequeño

Estoy muy disgustada,hice un pedido de un traje de color marrón ,i me enviaron uno de color rojo,i además la tela en la foto se veía muy buena i de calidad pero en realidad recibí un traje de una mala calidad,no tiene nada que ver con la foto . Le envié un correo para devolver el pedido ,estoy esperando aún la respuesta. Me siento estafada.

I used to order from Venus all the time because they offered a great balance of cost and quality. Some of the tops I bought years ago were made with heavy, high-quality materials that looked far more expensive than they were. I still wear them regularly, and they’ve held up beautifully over the years.
Unfortunately, lately, the quality has really declined while prices have gone up. The last few orders I placed were disappointing — the fabrics felt thin and cheap, and the items didn’t seem like they’d last more than one season. I ended up sending everything back.
It’s frustrating because I know how great Venus clothing used to be. I hope they return to using better materials and craftsmanship, even if it means slightly higher prices. Quality matters, and right now, it just isn’t there.

Swimsuit very well made and the colors are beautiful. I am 5'6" and weight 133
I ordered up one size. ( size 10) Whew! Sure glad I did...perfect fit. Love it! You will too!

You get partial orders, but have limited time to return. Also, if return and don't choose wallet WE pay that fee. So several times I've ordered a swimsuit. One item comes with a wait forever for the next item. That's ridiculous. Why can't they send all at once? You only have so much time to return.

I purchase the linen grommet detail midi, I called to see if I could exchange the size, the answer was no. I order the size medium, today 8/18/25 at 3 pm, I just came on to write this review and now the dress is 50% off which is 4 dollars less . So I paid 4 dollars more and I have one dress which does not fit. I have been a frequent buyer the last 7 months. VIP?
