I’m very disappointed in the quality , the delivery and the service. I wish I had bout an alternative half the price cheaper blind that my daughter bought. When I do finally receive my missing parts I Hope never to deal with this company again. 10 years ago this was such a different experience.

A very helpful representative Mikey listened to my problem with a new blind I had purchased and by using a video call see the cause and propose a solution by immediate replacement

First class service.
We had a great experience with Velux. They were very responsive and assigned us an excellent company to install our replacement velux window.

Ein originalverpacktes falsch bestelltes Produkt, das per KK bereits bezahlt war, wurde von der Post zurückgenommen und an Velux retourniert. Über zwei Wochen später erklärt die Mitarbeiterin telefonisch auf Nachfrage, das Paket sei noch nicht angekommen. Eine Nachfrage in der Spedition zeigt ihr dann, dass das Paket doch angekommen ist. Nun, fast zwei weitere Wochen später, ist die Rückerstattung noch immer nicht eingetroffen.

Drei Sterne, weil der Kundenservice am Telefon jeweils sehr freundlich und kompetent war. Gut möglich, dass das Problem woanders liegt.

Edit: Nun, einen Monat nach Zurücksenden, ist der Betrag endlich rückerstattet worden.

Mikey from Velux's Technical Services was extremely helpful, especially in giving reassurance to our builders regarding the installation of our windows. Also, he was able to help resolve a separate matter which was strictly speaking a supplier issue

A black out blind that is so puckered at the sides the light comes in. Velux will not replace it. It was very expensive and not of the standard you expect from a product of this price.

Mikey was extremely helpful and even video called me to help to remedy the problem I had with my top hung velux windows.I have to say as customer service goes this was the best experience I’ve had in a long time .

Je n'ai pas eu un unique problème de panne de mes volets solaires Velux, juste après la garantie des 5 ans, mais 5 VOLETS SOLAIRES VELUX TOMBÉS EN PANNE AU BOUT DE 5 ANS ET QUELQUES SEMAINES (au mieux, 5 ans et quelques mois !!!!).

Sur ma maison de Rennes (vendue en 2024), les deux volets solaires ont lâché à 2 semaines d'intervalle, juste après les 5 ans de garantie (et, pourtant avec des expositions et des fréquences d'usage différentes)

Sur ma nouvelle maison à Vannes, les trois volets solaires installés par l'ancien propriétaire il y a 5 ans ont tous lâché quasiment en même temps !!!

Et lorsque j'ai écrit il y a quelques jours au SAV, Velux m'a répondu que, bien sûr, il ne s'agissait pas d'obsolescence programmée.

J'ignore s'il y a de vrais agents Velux derrière cette réponse de type enfumage, ou s'il s'agit d'une réponse de type IA, programmée à la demande expresse de la Direction de Velux France.

Dans tous les cas, c'est honteux : 5 volets de 2 maisons différentes qui lâchent tous, juste après 5 ans d'utilisation, cela ne peut être une simple coïncidence, d'autant que de multiples forums décrivent cette obsolescence choisie.

Un conseil : n'achetez surtout pas de volets solaires VELUX, sauf si vous prévoyez, en provision et pour chacun, un budget annuel de 100 euros environ afin d'assurer leur remplacement au bout de 5 ans et quelques mois.

Ich habe mir das Serviceset ZZZ 220 für mein Dachfenster von 2009 bestellt. Leider ist der Luftfilter für das Fenster nicht geeignet. Der Luftfilter aus dem Set ZZZ 220K würde passen. Leider kann man diesen nicht einzeln kaufen. Das heißt, ich müsste für mein Fenster 2 Sets bestellen und die hälft landet in der Tonne. Ich hätte mehr erwartet!

I have always found Velux products to be well made and good quality having installed them in a number of properties, I recently had a problem with solar blinds and although the initial customer service response was not wholly positive, once Logan got onto it, the experience was improved dramatically and the problem swiftly resolved to my complete satisfaction.

After struggling find anyone online who could help I eventually called Velux direct, Both Windows stopped working but blinds still worked . Spoke to a Fantastic customer support person called Carolin ( Hopefully spelt correctly ) She talked me through the whole procedure and how to reset and now both working great.

Thank you Carolin you were a great help and a credit to your company.

Habe 2 neue Dachfenster einbauen lassen .Eins blieb nach dem Einbau durch einen Fachmann leider nicht offen stehen...das ist natürlich ärgerlich kann aber vorkommen.

Der hat am Fenster die Mechanik getestet.die Abdeckung abgenommen und die Feder ausgebaut..
Dabei fand er dann eine lose Mutter die
das Federwerk blockiert hat ,muss wohl einem Monteur im Werk hinein gefallen sein....das muss man vor ort beim Kunden erstmal herausfinden...
Fenster funktioniert jetzt einwandfrei

Muggegaas zomer 25 geplaatst door de 9 zonen vanneste gullegem.
Ondanks de slechte reviews plaatsen ze nog overal en achter een maand zijn ze stuk.zowel velux en de plaatsters wimpelen ze herstelling af onder excuses van verkeerd gebruik.zeer ten stellig af te raden want ze zijn enorm fragiel en komen vlug uit hun rails.

I have installed Velux windows for over 40 years both in UK and Australia. The window quality in particular for VC skylight range ( opening roof windows)
I have notice over the last few years little bits of rubber being added to some different spots. This seems like a very nasty cheap fix. Velux know there is an issue with this style of window and have being adding bits of rubber for years now possible since hinge mechanism changed. I find it very disappointing in such great company that this is going on. Please fix the issues and get rid of little add on bits of rubber. Also when the winder mechanism changed (for the worse )they move the position of hook or eyelet on window, I am pretty sure they know this is an issue as well it has become much harder to open and close windows to the extent they sell an extra fixture to try and fix this. Please have a look at these windows and fix.

Ik heb 4 velux ramen, met muggengaas. Op 1 raam wordt het muggengaas meer frequent geopend en gesloten (tijdens de zomer). Na de eerste zomer was dit al stuk. De geleide loodjes blijven niet zitten in de rails. Ik heb onder garantie een nieuw muggengaas gekregen. Amper 1 maand later is dit weeral stuk!!! De loodjes in de rails komen los, want ze zijn simpelweg te klein, dus blijven niet zitten in de rails. De kwaliteit is afschuwelijk voor een hoge prijs. Mijn installateur had dezelfde klacht over die kleine loodjes in de rails. Als je bedenkt dat je een fortuin uitgeeft voor die ramen, verwacht je wel iets fatsoenlijk en duurzaam!!

Customer service is a nightmare to try and return anything and you will have to continually chase to get the refund.
Product when you get the correct one is fine.

Technical support are superb as are the products offered.
