Beat other carpet wholesalers hands down.
Although the warehouse is rather rough and ready, they beat other carpet wholesalers hands down. They were cheaper, could fit in a reasonable time frame and were on time and did a great job. We also got a high quality mattress from them too. Excellent experience.

Good value and helpful advice
Good value and helpful advice. With the help of the staff I procured the required vinyl and laid it myself for £140. Another well know carpet chain store in the same town quoted me over £600 for the job!

Carpet Fine - Fitting Poor.
The reasonably expensive carpet chosen (ordered via Shrewsbury) was fine but the fitting was poor. I had ordered "extra length" as there needed to be a separate piece fitted into a recess. I explained that to the fitters when they arrived but, instead of fitting the one piece, they fitted 3 little pieces, which looks obvious and awful! They basically fitted the carpet from the wrong end of the room and, therefore, missed the opportunity for the "one piece" and had to salvage "three smaller pieces" from offcuts around the fireplace. United Carpets distance themselves in their written contract from "their" fitters - and I'm not surprised. Their loss, as this was the first carpet of a whole house project. I`ll be going elsewhere for the others; anyone can supply lengths of carpet, it's the fitting that is crucial. United Carpet - your fitters are letting you down AND losing you valuable future business.

Had carpet and new bed
Had carpet and new bed. Can't fault the carpet fitters who laid my carpet on the Wednesday or the delivery lads with the be on the Thursday. All lads pleasant and efficient including the lad who took my order. Will definitely recommend United carpets and bed's.

Great quality and service
We chose our carpet and lino from a wide selection of different types and styles with great advice on each ones we liked at a great price for our budget.
The fitter came and worked so hard fitting our kitchen lino and carpet downstairs and upstairs. We were delighted with the workmanship and the finished look is amazing, out house feels warmer and much more stylish now. Highly recomend their services.
