Studying for my Master of Business Administration in Oil, Gas and Energy Management at the Unicaf University has been of great importance for my career advancement and personal marketability. I am immensely grateful for the experience and opportunities I enjoyed during the period while undertaking the program.
During the time I was doing the course, I developed valuable skills that are of utmost importance for my career advancement due to acquired knowledge in Strategic Development, Leadership and Management, Managerial Economics, Financial Management, Energy Management and Policy among others. Unicaf University’s online arrangement / Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) made it easy for me to swiftly undertake and successful complete the course while retaining my job and working from challenging environments far from office set up.
During my program, I enjoyed immense support from both the student support team and tutors for the respective modules. I am very grateful for the support as that made manoeuvrability on the VLE easy and increased confidence towards timely completion of course. However, I found feedback from the Support Team overly delayed for the biggest time when I made requests for guidance.
I have already made recommendations to several friends to consider Unicaf University for their postgraduate studies. I would like to encourage more people interested in undertaking online / Virtual Learning without facing challenges associated with taking time off their day – to – day duties to consider Unicaf University.

It was really a smooth journey

I applied on the Unicaf website two weeks ago. This morning I received a call from someone who tried to scam me. You have also bridged the POPI act by distributing my number to scammers.

I’m grateful for the scholarship opportunity and the support provided by UNICAF. The application process was smooth, and communication has been helpful.

Unicaf has been good regarding the affordability of its courses. However, it is quite disappointing when tutors do not provide detailed or constructive feedback on our assignments. I found the tutor feedback to be very general and vague, and when comparing notes with my peers, many of us received the same grades and identical feedback, which made the process feel impersonal.

A friend and I decided to test this theory during the last module we both failed with the exact same grade. I completely rewrote my assignment, spent hours improving it, and submitted work that received a plagiarism score of only 4%. My final mark was 67%. Meanwhile, my friend only changed one section of her assignment, received a plagiarism score of 22%, and was still awarded the exact same grade of 67%. I found this very strange and quite discouraging, especially considering the significant difference in effort and originality between the two submissions.

They are very prompt in their service, patient with every kind of learner, supportive and following up on issues raised. Good communication between the staff members.

I was a bit hesitant when I started the application. Then I was directed to contact a student adviser who was available to guide me through the entire process. The scholarship bit was too good to be true. I can finish my course in good time without worrying so much about the full cost.
