There is an ongoing issue with vehicles parking illegally on the sidewalk double yellow lines. Leaving engines idling early in the morning causes unnecessary noise and pollution, and blocking the pavement creates a clear hazard by cutting off access for parents with strollers. I politely asked the driver to move to an available parking spot five meters away, he reacted aggressively and refused.

Our power went out whilst I was on shift at 00:30 leaving my housemate very vulnerable and worried. I called them as soon as I got home as the breaker was not turning on, and the lady on the phone, Becca, was so helpful and reassuring, a true asset to your customer service night team. She kindly put us on priority due to my housemate not long leaving hospital after an operation, and took both our numbers to keep us informed of anything going on.
Liam the engineer was brilliant as well, patiently waiting for me to rush home as my housemate was asleep, assessing and fixing the problem within literally 10 minutes.

I had reason to call the UK power network appointments office over a three day period to organise a de-loop for my solar installation. On each occasion I was met with a lovely greeting from one of five female employees. Each of my calls was dealt with in a friendly and efficient way and a call back was made when promised. The Ladies all of them ,went (and men if there are any there) out of their way to help. I've tried to picture their happy office.......wherever it is ? It must be a joy to work in. Thank you UK Power thanks for being so happy and efficient. It is a breath of fresh air these days.

The customer support was excellent. My Mother-in-law is elderly and vulnerable, and the support from the service team as well as the engineers was second to none. I had regular calls with the support team, who offered things such as getting hot food or drinks sent. The engineers also offered to get anything we needed. They worked hard throughout the day and kept us informed throughout. What a great service and UK Power Networks senior management should be proud of their team

Good evening to you this is a true reflection of my interaction with the staff of UK power networks today. Upon doing some DIY today, we unfortunately went through power cable that was only a few inches below the surface. That aside I hastily reported the fault to power networks and a very nice gentleman called Lee attended within the hour as the property supply was non-existent. He completed his paperwork and fairly quickly established what the problem was he said that a team will be in touch and will attend today as the power supply to the property needed to be restored. And Lo and behold mid afternoon we were greeted by a team of four called Jack, Morgan, Bob and Daren. And what a formidable Team they were. They all worked well together each knowing the role they had to play and they all got on so well together. Their work was professional their knowledge was 2nd to none and the job was completed in a timely fashion in a very very professional manner. I can assure you that if you are fortunate enough to have these four gents turn up at your door to resolve your Electric supply problem you are in excellent hands. I hope the bosses of UK power network read this because they certainly deserve a big pat on the back along with Lee.

The company provides an excellent service and is very professional. In my case, it is really important to be listed as a priority customer because l have many serious and debilitating medical conditions. I am very disabled and live with severe pain daily.

Well what can I say, I have just experienced the absolute most amazing customer experience that I’ve experienced in a very long time. You guys should be celebrating your excellence !! My elderly mum who has the grandchildren on this extremely hot day lost power for a few hours and the advice and customer service was outstanding!! Even received a call back when the power returned to check in with us!

After a recent fire locally the electric was
Down and for safety reasons obviously nobody could go and solve the problem until fire brigade deemed it safe to do so, the communication from UK power networks was absolutely fantastic. Spoke with Alison originally before I knew about a fire then the rest of the evening Hazel was contacting me by phone every few hours with tx messages In between, such lovely warm people who were friendly and supportive

Great early communication to tell us there was a problem,further frequent updating messages to give us the latest news and how long it might take to restore power. Very impressed.

We had an unplanned power cut on 9/7/26, and throughout the issue UK Power Network provided timely, friendly and informative text updates. They subsequently sent further information to explain the reason for the outage and further apologise for any inconvenience.
I would like to commend UK Power Network for what I consider to be excellent service. Thank you.

If I could give a zero rating I would. The customer service by this company is absolutely appalling. Nothing is ever done on time! Promises are never kept.

Utter disgrace left a generator outside my bedroom window on for 4 nights unable to sleep

Very timely, courteous, polite and respectful. Worked tirelessly in searing heat to restore power. Like and Connor should certainly get a bonus. Excellent job, guys !!

Formal Complaint Regarding Dangerous Driving by UK Power Networks Vehicle LC70 DYS

Dear Customer Services,

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding the dangerous driving of one of your company vehicles, registration LC70 DYS, on the A12 in London at approximately 11:30 pm on 2 July 2026.

At the time of the incident, there was a lane closure ahead and traffic was merging into a single lane. As drivers reached the closure, your driver repeatedly refused to allow vehicles to merge safely. Instead of leaving a safe gap, the driver accelerated and deliberately blocked cars from entering the lane.

When I attempted to merge, your driver continued to prevent me from doing so and came dangerously close to colliding with my vehicle. I had to take evasive action to avoid what could have been a serious accident.

What makes this incident particularly concerning is that my baby was in the car. The driver’s actions unnecessarily placed my child’s safety, my own safety, and the safety of other road users at risk. There was absolutely no justification for driving in such an aggressive and dangerous manner.

As this was a clearly marked UK Power Networks vehicle, the driver was representing your company. I expect professional drivers operating company vehicles to behave responsibly, especially when navigating roadworks and lane closures where patience and cooperation are essential for everyone’s safety.

Deliberately preventing vehicles from merging serves no legitimate purpose. It creates unnecessary danger, increases the likelihood of collisions, causes congestion, and can easily escalate into road rage. I found the driver’s behaviour intimidating, reckless, and completely unacceptable.

I ask that you investigate this incident thoroughly. Please review any available vehicle tracking data, telematics, or dashcam footage to identify the driver and determine what occurred. I also ask that appropriate action is taken to ensure this behaviour is addressed and does not happen again.

Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and let me know the outcome of your investigation once it has been completed.

I trust UK Power Networks will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
