Warning against using UK POS

I really would warn against using UK POS.

As other reviews (which I sadly read too late) have stated, UK POS will not take responsibility for damaged orders, so it really is a case of the consumer taking all of the risk. They informed me that they do not act in accordance with the guidance of the Consumer Act of 2015 with their Business to Business Sales.

My order arrived damaged, I was in touch with UK POS with evidence of the damaged product within a week, and they refused to do anything to remedy the situation as I did not email within 24 hours, quoting their "damage policy". They outright admitted that the issue was that their contract with their courier meant that they would have to pay for a refund / replacement outside of 24 hours. For reference, the packaging was not damaged at all, the break clearly pre-existed shipping.

We received notification of your damage claim on the 15th November after delivering your parcel on the 8th November , we requested further images to further your claim and we received a response stipulating your consumer rights and laws, we did point out at that time , that this transaction is not covered by these laws and our own terms and conditions are fully applicable, we requested further images to validate your claim and these have never been received. Unfortunately, we could not reach a resolution with you on this occasion.

Delivery charge needs reassessing

Range of products good and delivery times fine. The issue I have is the delivery charge. Minimum order for free delivery is £150. I just wanted to order a small pack of chalkboard panels & pen, which could easily be stuffed in an envelope and sent for the price of a second class/first class stamp. Instead, there's a flat rate for delivery of £11.40. It's ludicrous. I'm not aware of any other company that charges the same for a package weighing 200g as one that's 20kg. Daft

Very disappointed

Until this week, I would have recommended UK POS to anyone needing their supplies, however, this is now, no longer the case. We ordered a delivery of items last week (x37 in total) of an acrylic leaflet holders and x10 of them arrived broken last Friday. However, because we didn't report this until after the weekend UK Pos will not refund these and I have had to pay for another 10 items plus 10 individual deliveries again so this has left me totally out of pocket and left quite a sour taste. I am going to push this issue further but I think their decision is made (its all in the t's & c's which unfortunately don't take common sense into account). Whilst I am not a massive customer, I am a very loyal one but I now feel that this really doesn't stand for anything which is disappointing after being a UK POS customer since my companies inception back in 2006.

Ordered some A0 board plastic covers…

Ordered some A0 board plastic covers which they sent them to the wrong shop which in itself wasn't the end of the world, but talking to their customer service team to try and get this issue resolved was an absolute JOKE. It was like talking to a brick wall with no resolution.

Use this company at your own risk!

Wouldn't use this company again. Sent the artwork with the correct colour codes for a sign & they printed it completely off colour.
I emailed them asking them to resolve & Lucie (who I dealt with) argued the toss that it was the correct colour. After I sent the codes in & explained that they print correct on my machine for signage along with an image of proof (we only sent to POS because we didn't do this particular product) I stopped getting responses. Very poor customer service. Buy from them at your own risk!

Excellent. They upgraded my first order delivery too so I received my item next day.

A 1 day guarantee and non existent customer service.

We ordered 2 bespoke sandwich boards, these were their top of the range models and very expensive. But as a hospitality business we wanted them to look the best.
The 2 units arrived and one of them was broken, the remaining one was good. We contacted UK POS and were told that the time required to report any damage was 1 day and that they would refer it to their management team. They ten requested pictures of the item, the packaging and the labels. We supplied all of this. We chased them for 2 weeks, they've now stopped replaying. We're hundreds of pounds out of pocket for a damaged items and the supplier have ignored us.
Very disappointing.
