I had a very positive experience seeing Professor Michael Rudenko through my insurance. From the start, I felt truly listened to—he took the time to ask additional questions and explore symptoms beyond what I initially mentioned, which made me feel that he was genuinely invested in understanding the full picture of my health.

He carried out comprehensive testing, and thanks to that, I now have clarity on my contact allergies as well as insight into a possible unrelated condition that hadn’t been considered before. He has referred me for further assessment of that, which I really appreciate.

My wife suffers allergy with unknown allergen(s).
We contacted this clinic hoping for high quality help and world class healthcare(its London premier doctors network)..
Doctor Professor Michael Rudenko kindly examined my wife on two meetings , he ordered few tests , he made professor’s conclusions..prescribed remedies .. We were hoping for smooth healing, understanding that it’s not possible to get recovery quickly.
All was about 2000 pounds already paid.. Although in few weeks my wife got strong allergy attacks again.
We had had contacted the clinic again in order to discuss or correct therapies .. The clinic offered zoom meeting next day BUT for another 250 pounds. I’m kindly asking.. why you charge us again for not properly completing treatment already massively been paid? The answer was sorry YOU HAVE TO PAY AGAIN..
I responded we believe it’s not moral what ever especially in human beings as medical care..
AVOID SUCH “professors” in this clinic!
We believe this clinic must refund our money paid to them for poor medical care. We will take action agains this robbery.Soon.

Great experience and professional staff! This is the only Allergy Clinic in London that provides the most comprehensive care.

I am still undergoing testing via the clinic, as based in Scotland, all testing has to be remote which I appreciate having the option to do; it has been a tricky process, but the practice manager has been so helpful and kind in assisting me with the correct way of doing so. I believe the professor who listened and understood that I have seen many specialisms, is using his best judgement, looking to test in order to discount things that may explain my ongoing chronic symptoms. However I do hope on review we can consider some further options to test more specifically for my original complain of suspected MCAS. This process is not easy but the clinic so far has been great to deal with.

We were talked at, through and over. Very little listening took place during this 'consultation'. Their solution to chronic atopic dermatitis following the failure of Cyclosporine, Upadacitinib and dozens of other topical and oral medications was that I need to 'take really good care of' my skin. How I wish I'd thought of that before spending £100s of pounds on a 'consultation'.

Update: no follow up or communication from the clinic. Grabbed the money and ran!

Thie company is a con 2 months still not recieved my result i paid alot of money for bloods no results received.

Please avoid.

My son had been referred by a BUPA specialist and a GP for allergy testing. Called this company to take him to Harley Street and get the tests done, they INSISTED on a £250 ZOOM appointment(!), not even an in person appointment, despite having a referral letter from a Paediatric Specialist. After the Zoom consultation it would have been further charges for the tests themselves.

A massive con clearly from a company who want to take as much cash as possible for pointless online appointments. If this is how they treat people then I would avoid at all costs, as we've done.

Expensive and pointless. Went for baby allergy testing.

The con: I wanted an appointment for a skin test. As I was with BUPA they insisted on me having an zoomappointment with Prof Rudenko first at £250. This was for him to tell me that I needed a skin test. Something pretty obvious if your baby gets a rash when their skin comes into contact with a nut. If I had not been with BUPA, I would not have needed this.

The experience: The nurse at the skin test centre was nice and professional. There was little or no wait. The room seems a little dirty.

The nurse did the skin test. It was pretty obvious which things my baby was allergic too. The nurse then gives the results to the professor who tells you via zoom, to avoid those food, even for breastfeeding. Some of the advice was actually wrong/debatable. In any case, my NHS experience was much better with Homerton NHS allergy clinic where more specific results were given (ie how allergic) and how to manage. So if you can wait for your NHS referral, I would recommend.

The ridiculous: I needed receipts for my BUPA refund. I asked on the 22nd November. I then wrote an email, saying that this service was unacceptable and that I was minded to write a bad review if I did not get receipts. The admin (who i had already found rude) then threatened to call the police. Honestly. There were not threats of violence, no personal insults (I have never even met her), just the threat of a bad review.

So people, I am apparently risking my liberty to bring you my experience of the LAIC.

The treatment itself is fine, but customer service very disappointing. I saw prof Rudenko for a follow up appointment - I paid for that appointment at the time of booking. But my insurance company was still invoiced, so I emailed ukallergy asking them to retract the invoice, and also to email me the invoice/receipt for the payment I made. A week later, still no response, so I phoned them, made the same request - again, it's week later and still the invoice hasn't been retracted and I still don't have a full payment receipt/invoice.
Overall, if I was choosing an immunologist again I'd choose someone else just so the reception staff would be different.
