A very reliable company
A very reliable company. After many purchases of X10 kit over the years, I cannot find any fault with the service they provide. As they deal with electronic equipment sometimes things don’t go according to expectation, but UK-Automation has always resolved any issues very promptly and without fuss. I can recommend them without any reservation.

Unacceptable behavior
Unacceptable behavior. Instead of accepting the return goods, Craig Atkins instructed the shipping company to dispose the goods so that they do not have to do the refund. Utterly despicable and unprofessional of UK Automation

Dear Sir, This is an interesting take on events and I'm unsure as to why you are not using your real name, but once again let me clarify the events:
1) You purchased ~£240 of goods to be shipped to Singapore
2) Your customs (correctly) contacted you to collect the import duty as you're importing the goods to Singapore
3) You decided you didn't wish to pay the customs duty, and asked for us to accept a return, which we agreed to and sent you the return address details
4) You informed us you'd shipped them back to us. We asked for tracking which you didn't provide.
5) Our fulfilment centre asked us what was happening and we told them you were shipping the items back
6) We then find out that you'd left the items with your customs and hadn't shipped them back, at which point as the duty hadn't been paid the goods were destroyed.
As an overseas purchaser, it's your responsibility to pay the customs import duties and/or the return shipping should you not require the goods. We certainly don't expect to be paying your customs fee to then also pay customs to ship the items back to us.
Great service
This was my second purchase from UK Automation, just as before great service, great value & prompt delivery.

Zero response to email and phone calls.
I placed and paid for an order. I didn't receive an email confirmation. I sent an email asking for confirmation, but no response received. I tried to call, but no one answered the phone. I left a voice message, but still no response. I emailed again using their web form. Still no response. I tried to call again. Once more, no one answered the phone. I left another voice message, but still no one has responded to me. I was left wondering whether this company is fraudulent, when to my surprise, the goods arrived. An incredibly quick delivery to Australia. Perhaps they could work on their customer communication to inspire some confidence.
