Inconsistent level of service
I was approached by this recruitment company to meet with their client about a job I had not applied for. The initial contact was all positive, all went well and I had a productive meeting with their client.
Since that meeting, now pushing two weeks, I have had complete silence, no responses to very politely-worded messages or emails. I am fine with not getting the job, but being transparent and telling me what has happened or providing feedback about why I was unsuccessful in getting a job I didn’t apply for is the bare minimum level of service for a recruiting company.
I hope that this is a one-off for them and that they aren’t in the business of ghosting people they approach for jobs. I am amazed that their director (who I dealt with) has been able to stay in recruitment for 20 years if this is how he deals with clients.
This is the first time I have ever written a review of a company, but because of being so frustrated with them, I felt it was necessary.
