I've been a TTNC customer for over five…
I've been a TTNC customer for over five years, and until recently the service was good. Unfortunately, the level of customer support has declined significantly.
You can no longer speak to a real person and are forced to raise support tickets, which simply isn't acceptable when your phone system is a critical part of your business. We raised a ticket over three weeks ago regarding call transferring and still haven't received a response.
To make matters worse, our phones have gone down twice in the last week. During these outages, we couldn't hear callers or be heard ourselves, bringing our business communications to a standstill. The service status page showed no issues, and despite raising two more support tickets, we've had no response or assistance.
For any business, reliable phone service and responsive support are essential. Even if the issue is simple to fix, it's impossible to know because there's no one available to speak to.
This level of service is completely unacceptable. Sadly, after five years as a customer, we'll be moving our account elsewhere.

We've spent nearly £50,000 withTTNC…
We've spent nearly £50,000 withTTNC over the past 8 years. We went with them because they offered good support. They are now difficult to get hold of for urgent assistance. This left us withno phones. There appears to be no way of contacting the TTNC team or of even alerting them to issues with their system save raising a ticket and joining the queue (8 hours - so tough luck if it is over the weekend and your relying on their systems).
TTNC are not the cheapeast. Things go wrong in all businesses and its about how they deal with it. The product does generally work but when it dosn't there inability to allow customers to communicate with them and let them know of issues with their system is poor. However once they do get to your ticket (8 working hours - so not weekends) they are helpful and proactive and will do their best to resolve the issue and keep you updated.
Prior to the ChessICT takeover we were able to contact the TTNC directly so if their system had issues they could priritise reoslving them now we can't and this resulted in a poorer customer experience.

TTNC used to be a great company - not anymore !
TTNC used to be a brilliant company, great value and very responsive until they were taken over - I have been a client for nearly 10 years. But prices increases, glitches and poor service have forced me to leave. The most irritating thing about is there poor commuincations, they activley DO NOT WANT TO SPEAK TO ANYONE and when something goes wrong, have an automated AI receptionist that seems proud the URGENT problems will be deal with in 8 hours (in realisty much longer) and anyhting else within 5 working days !
I leaft the company name at the bottom of this review, so you cannot say as you have said to other reviews that you don't know who I am or which business this pertains to as you seem to state each time you get a nagative review !

My business VOIP line stopped working…
My business VOIP line stopped working over a week ago. We cannot receive client calls. I have called the support line, sent emails to support, placed several tickets and have had NO response at all. I have also left a voicemail with the AI bot.
We have been with TTNC for 10 years with quick, outstanding and helpful service.
I now have to revert to online public complaints to see if this may prompt some form of support.
It now seems this company has no humans to assist its clients with faults and there is no way to speak to a human so one is left at the whim of AI.

Non-Existent Urgent Customer Support
Our phonelines have been down for a full week. We can't call out, and customers cannot call us. Extremely damaging to our business reputation that we have built based on our customers being able to contact us with ease, but they cannot get through!
No support whatsoever! You call the main office line, it's an automated voicemail service that tells you someone will respond if it's urgent in 8 hours. 8 hours for emergency business support is abhorrent in 2026!
I managed to call an emergency support line, and got through to a really patronising and arrogant woman who told me that she wasn't sure how I managed to call that number and that it's out of hours support only, and that during the day, they can't do anything and that I should contact the main office number (and leave a voicemail).
Absolute joke of a company. I will be moving my business telephone lines elsewhere with immediate effect.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. There isn't any. Can't get hold of anyone when there's a problem, so it's important to think whether to use this company or not. Our business doesn't function properly right now as TTNC have gone AWOL and our phone system is down.

Our TTNC phone system broke over the weekend. I put a ticket into them 9:00 on Monday morning, plus left answer phone messages, and haven't had anything back from them. The phone system is vital to our business. We have been with TTNC for over ten years.

Unsatisfactory logging into portal
This company for some years provided excellent service, but lately it has become almost impossible to connect to their portal. The chat is now operated via AI. When requesting help from a live person, the AI issues a ticket so good luck in getting a fast response.
It has got to a stage where I am now unable to add futher telephone numbers in a speedy manner as my work demands.

What great service
What great service! I set up my account and managed to get it configured broadly as I needed it. The system is very capable though, and there were some things I wasn't sure about. I tend to put off phoning companies unless it's unavoidable because it is so often a miserable experience, so I was delighted that Caroline phoned me today to ask whether there was anything I needed help with. She couldn't have been nicer, extremely helpful and answered all my many questions - nothing was too much trouble. Even better, the answers to the questions opened up other ways that the system can be of benefit and I'll be taking another couple of services. There was no pressure from Caroline to do so, she seemed only to want to make sure that she answered every question that occurred to me as clearly as possible. It is so nice to deal with a communications company that has excellent communications, I'm slightly shocked!

Service levels now very poor...
I was asked by TTNC to provide a review in April and wrote the words at the end of this review.
Sadly I now realise why TTNC took the time to phone me and ask me to post a review. Their service levels have deteriorated considerably since they were taken over by Chess and they are getting so many one star reviews that they were trying to compensate. There is no way to contact a human being there any more. How come they cannot see that this is unacceptable for a "communications" company. I first sent a message on 27th June 2026 saying there was an issue with my data. Each day I got a message back saying the issue had been fixed. Each day I messaged back to say it had not. It was only when I posted a one star Google review that within an hour I got an email with the heading "1* Google review received" that even attempted to sort the issue. Unfortunately the fix was to tell me they no longer offered FTP and would now email me the data. I'm still waiting, nearly a month later, to get the data from the end of June. My suggestion is that, if you have an issue, leave a one star Google review immediately. If they get enough of them perhaps they will ditch the AI and reinstate helpful humans.

I've been using TTNC since 2008 so you can tell I'm impressed. They offer a great service and their Web site management system is really easy to use. I had a friendly call from Caroline today asking me to leave a review which I'm happy to do. It was good to speak with you Caroline.
