Via resort luxury stay sent me to Thailand to stay at Absolute Twin sand resort in Phuket for $260 for 7 nights too good to be true yes no it’s a scam after I stayed with them their agent came to pressure me to attend a 4 hours and half meeting which I did after I refuse to sign on their time share system he accused me of breaching the contract and asked me to pay full amount of the stay with is thousands of dollars when I refused he also threatened me with taking the money from my credit card on file and sending red alert to the Thai custom to prevent me from leaving the country if I cancel my credit card it was horrible experience and made my trip hell please the reason I am writing this to alert you all their agent called via resort luxury stay and that’s where I booked my scam trip and their resorts goes under Absolute twin share resort and spa if that came up you are in a trap scam especially when you arrive and you submit your credit card it’s a mafia group of people not legitimate be careful kind regards

I have been using TripAdvisor for as long as I can think for both bookings and reviews. In this case I negatively reviewed a business namely Cebu Tours who did not follow thier own policy and refunded our money. with several attempts to contact them with no response and ignorance when they responded. With all evidence and no derogative comments clearly Trip Advisor has chosen NOT to post the review with no substantial backing and evidence as to why. CLearly we were trying to give the opputrunity to future travellers to be aware of this company and their dealings. I think this is not a true reflection on the reviews if they pick and choose and do not allow evidence backed negative reviews so that future travellers have the ability to see all reviews before making a judgement on who to make bookings with. I am very disappointed in trip advisor and will be removing our profile along with not using this platform again if they choose to be bias in what reviews they post. very poor on Trip Advisor to do this and certainly questions allot of reviews that are on Trip Advisor as to how accurate these are. or are they managed as well to promote what Trip Advisor want to promote and not a true and accurate reflection from paying customers.

I booked a hotel but found the bed was damaged and asked to refund but Tripadvisor said the Hotel don’t allow changes. Ended us looking for another hotel of our own in the middle of night 2am. Few days later I booked another of their hotel but the date was somehow registered a day earlier. Tried to amend online but can’t. Called TripAdvisor but was very hard to reach. But finally got through they won’t change the date and said the hotel disallowed changes. I called the hotel they said they allow changes. Called TripAdvisor back but they insisted Hotel doesn’t allow changes despite I got confirmation it’s not true. Once your money passed over they act like mafia. Never will book through TripAdvisor again. Just use their apps for infor and book direct. Then there was the ticketing issue but suffice to said my bank has started a Dispute case against them.

A warning to travellers pre booking a uber taxi be carefully I was recently charged for a ride from robina to broadbeach cost $36.00 I pre booked the ride and was charged even the time it took to do the trip. Problem was taxi never turned up cannot contact the cheating bustards.

I booked with Edreams airline over 2 years ago and because of covd our holiday was cancelled and I am still waiting for my 1700.00 dollars refund....my mistake booking with this shabby company ..be warned they are a scam

They have failed to acknowledge or deal with a libelous comment on a review which has been accepted as untrue and defamatory. We are being taken to task over this but despite wanting to resolve the issue, we cannot because Tripadvisor refuse to act.

If you wish to complain or take legal access they require you to write via snail mail to an address in the USA. This is clearly intended to deter complainants as they don't even respond when you do.

They require no verification or validation from their account holders meaning that the platform cannot possibly be relied on.

Worse still, you can't opt out so at this stage anyone can write anything about anyone else and the victim has no genuine redress.

If someone can explain how that could be fair, I am very willing to listen.

One of the best things we did on our recent trip to Paris was the Paris Charms & Secrets bike ride. We had a great tour with Pierre who was super knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Paris.

I have been a customer of Tripadvisor for years and had a shocking experience in Melbourne.

The operator didn't show up to pick me up because of a screw up with on Viator or the operator's end. I incurred $20 in uber fees and $15 in overseas call charges to ask what the heck was going on. I wasted a day. TA did refund the sum after I wrote in (it wasn't automatic) and offered a 25 voucher which was grossly inadequate

Owner claimed after one day that his system had been hacked but later said Tripadvisor made a mistake.

Apart from the waste of time and money, I received only 277 out of 300 due to exchange rate issues which I should not bear. so that's about 50 bucks I incurred due to Tripadvisor and the operator's screw up

Why should i bear the cost for this scam/screw up?

Viator blocked me on social media and failed provide a logical explanation for what happened. the vendor said he could find my booking, then one day later he said his system was hacked.

Trip advisor platform can not be taken seriously as in our case it allowed a former dishonest employee to my husbands business to use there platform to trash my Cafe using his girlfriends account. Instead of helping Trip advisor staff perpetuated the lie and bullying tactic by allowing this persons comments to remain on their site while othe sites had it removed. Felt very stressed and hurt dealing with this company due to there dishonesty in this case

Great location ,ambience attentive and courteous staff and most importantly sensational menu , professional presentation and delightful flavours, " Par Excellence; If you are a visitor or a resident of the coast and want a unique first class dining experience the Isle deFrance is worth the effort ,cheers

We stayed here in May - what a beautiful hotel, the staff were so warm and welcoming, we had a few pre dinner drinks then headed into the restaurant for dinner which had heaps to choose from. We had a family room which was small but very comfortable with a beautiful view over the water, what a great little place to stay for the region. Thank you Kermandie.

We always check tripadvisor before going on vacation abroad. Other travelers' tips and recommendations are also very useful. Despite the fact that I've seen a lot of negative comments about them, we haven't had any problems with them so far.

Removes reviews to leave only fake positives for places like wunderbar in toowoomba (a bar run by fools who dont follow covid public health mandates).

Why does trip advisor allow negative reviews that offend both venues and other patrons.

TripAdvisor recently removed a pending positive review of Pullman Bali without telling me there was a problem which I dont believe there was. I have written many reviews on there and never had a problem. Their contact us form doesnt work no matter what option you choose. Pretty poor performance on their part.
