I have used Trend for many years it has been ok but they stopped supporting my current version and to update today took over 3.5 hours of my time inc 2.5 hours with chat support and still not working it was such a laborious process the instructions were wrong and AI unhelpful I have to call back tomorrow and have no virus protection at all and have a two year licence I can’t recommend and will find another supplier from now on

The new ID Protection for password management is an awfull upgrade from Password Manager. Almost impossioble to login and does not work with browsers Safari and Firefox. I will not be using this part of the Trend Maximum Security and probably not renew my account when it expires next year.

more pop ups than not using it .total scam

Very poor website, which is deceiving. I upgraded my anti-virus software, which indicated that Cleaner Pro was part of the package. When I couldn't activate the product, they said it was a renewal and not eligible. Which was not disclosed. I agree with the previous review. Trend was once good, but no longer. Like most big companies, there is no Customer Loyalty.

Icke existerande support, påhittade regler för spamfiltrering som blockerar epost servrar, som inte skickar skickar spam, de har inget intresse av att lösa problemet.

Supporten är bara automatgenererade nonsens svar.

Seit einiger Zeit komme ich mit meinem Login, dass ich nun jahrelang habe, nicht mehr in das Programm herein. Ich wollte eine Verlängerung nicht zustimmen geht aber nicht da ich wie gesagt mit meinem Login nicht auf die Website komme. Alle Anfragen von Trend Mikro wurden nicht beantwort deshalb hab ich das jetzt gekündigt und zwar mit Email.

Horrible company to work with. Their websites are unusable, and trying to manage your account is done on a series of non-connected websites with names like success and renewonline... you just kinda have to know what to type and hope that maybe they won't kill your email.

This company used to be great. They are just awful now. I've used them for 20 years and had great results from the security. However, We just switch our team and my personal account from them because there is exactly zero help. They are case in point with what is wrong with American companies that don't have any understanding how important customer support it. Read and heed the warning! If anything goes wrong, you'll be on your own having to swallow the loss unless you do a charge back or something. So frustrating.

Fraud and corrupt company!

The time has come to generate news on social media on how bad this security software truly is, I will start a class action against this company - I have zero tolerance for incompetent companies misleading its customers and stealing their money!

In June 2025, I purchased the MAXIMUM SECURITY PLUS package, and thought this was a great deal - after all the company states it’s has millions of users, and has partnerships with Nvidia, Dell and many more tier-one tech companies.Has to be good, right 🙃

In my case, I was only able to install the antivirus package, after successfully installing this package I was surprised to find how limited this software is. The UI interface reminded me about a poor architecture that was built in the early 90-ties, it is slow, odd and after a full scan the application crashed and now it is not working, any longer. Moreover, all the other features in this bundle such secure VPN and the Cleaner Pro can’t be downloaded, despite you paid premium price for a full security package that can support pretty much all tech platforms available. The mobile device software is very basic, has literally no function when running on iOS environments.

No support at all available, very frustrating and the self-claimed 24/7 support is a total lie. Importantly, it is not possible to get a refund despite the company claiming that.

BE WARNED THIS COMPANY IS RUNNING AWAY WITH YOUR MONEY, DO NOT BUY THEIR SECURITY SOLUTIONS.

0 support, all is automated, good luck! Stay away from this software. Also VPN just sucks from these guys, thats why it is included free. It doenst do anything.

Absolutely ZERO support! Program says I have 26 days to renew, while also telling me it's already expired?! Logging into the useless website seems to indicate that I'm on auto renew? There's no way to update payment info either, not that i need to but at least I could check that they have my info correct. Trend Micro STINKS. Talk about the brush off with NO support! Probably get tons of spam in my email after using my email account to complain.

Al renovar a primeros dd mayo 2025 mi subscripción a Trend Despues de comprar Maximum por dos años y para cinco equipos por correo email y tarjeta de credito, recibo confirmación y factura de la compra pero me ha sido imposible instalar el programa por no disponer del codigo, ya que no sirve el que disponia de la version anterior.

Customer Service is almost non existent.No email no phone number why is it so hard to talk to an actual HUMAN these days.

Wow - what a scam company - I have been with them for years - this year they decided to charge my credit card and extra $100 for the convenience of auto-renewal - I could have purchased new on line for $49.95 - but they charged e $149.95 + tax. time to find a new company - DONT trust them

So tired of the forced auto renew with this company. Got an email today that my subscription will auto renew. I am 41 days out. Logged into my account immediately to cancel. Repeated attempts to cancel have failed even though just before the last ok to cancel it said my auto renew was cancelled only to find out it is still in auto renew mode. Can't get any chat agents and can't reach anyone by phone. I am so done with this company.

If I could give them -10 I would. It's a scam.

I paid for the Cleaner One software expecting full functionality, but all it did was identify issues - fixing them required an additional payment. This feels misleading and deceptive.

Digital River Incorporated and Trend Micro should face criminal trial for their many unscrupulous business practices that include falsely charging Trend Micro Auto-Pay customers that cancelled their subscriptions. I cancelled my auto pay account a month before I was charged with auto-pay. Digital River has my credit card profile and will not allow me access to my own credit card information. Same Customer complaints like mine since 2010.
