New customer, spent a lot—got a bad charger. Rep was rude and wanted me to pay return shipping. Got it sorted eventually, but the experience soured my start with Traxxas.

Terrible, bought a Sledge and it came in 1/6/2026 and played with it on the 7th and after the second day a piece of the spur teeth came out and pinion gear came out also..no bashing, just straight up in the pavement playing and thats the result, a broken spur.

Customer support hung up on me. Anyone to purchase from this company should beware. Also support hours claim open 7 days and that is not accurate. Not a good company and certainly won't get any business or praise from me. Very unhappy. On a good note I have a proboat and haven't had to reach out to them. Guess it's going on the shelf or burn pit.
I really got to say traxxas been good to me I lost a spacer for my xrt for the shocks they sent me 2 man that was great first off I don't bash anyone don't know them that way look lm still learning

Never ever will buy a RC car from…
Never ever will buy a RC car from TRAXXAS ever again. Their customer service is trash and no one knows how to help or do their job. I finally received my RC car will be returning it. No longer felt the need to give my money and time to these people. Will be looking somewhere else.
Nightmare-ish "customer service"
I bought three Traxxas trucks. Two as gifts, and one for myself. I used mine for a few months back in 2018, and it was put away in working order. Just recently, I got it back out and dusted it off To run again, and the receiver would not pair with the transmitter. I made the mistake of calling "tech support", (AKA Customer Abuse hotline) and began talking to a twit named "EJ" Who basically started talking slowly to me like I was a child In a condescending manner. I'm probably old enough to be this guy's dad.
If that wasn't bad enough, I called back to try and reach someone else who might be a little friendlier, and that's when I ran into "Kent", Who was almost hostile in his interaction with me. It was absolutely mind boggling the complete lack of interest in helping me or having any patience, or just having a basic respect for the customer. This clown "Kent", actually hung up on me after I responded to his hostility by saying "easy cowboy". Sheerly mind boggling.
I'm not sure I have ever, in my 55 years of life, experienced a more hostile and disrespectful level of customer service. It was absolutely beyond the pale, and I will never spend another penny with this company again. Now that I have read these reviews, I can absolutely see why they are at a one 1.7 star. Whoever is running this company should be ashamed, if they had any sense of shame.
Edit: I ended up sending my electronics to them so they could test them out. The technician put a note in the email that he "did a factory reset" on my remote.
I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure I could have been walked through that on the phone, had there been anyone with a shred of decency, resourcefulness and patience, willing to actually help.

If i could i would put 0 star! Their customer service is complete joke. Please don't waste your money on their products. They are so cheap and can care less about you. I bought 2 rc cars over a $1000 value in 2 weeks and additional parts worth of $600 and one of the rc cars came with broken shock and these f are so cheap that they sent me a shaft instead of the entire shock. Which you can not fix because is broken inside. this company is complete joke!

I always dreamt of buying a Traxxas RC car for my son as I thought this is a top-tier quality and high price comes with high satisfaction.
Yet, already week after purchase servo has broken and I was informed that Traxxas doesn't take that into warranty. So well, I did buy a servo with metal gears to avoid problems with that.
Yet, my son couldn't enjoy the car for much longer because pins were jumping from driveshaft (through o-rings) which is an engineering nonsense.
So, after Traxxas explaining me that they see no issue, I bought a metal driveshaft.
And again, the fun didn't last long, because remote has failed!! And, so I checked inside whether there's any obvious issue inside but there was none. Retailer identified an issue with potentiometer and now, because remote was once opened guess what - warranty replacement was rejected!
Traxxas is a company that promises dreams yet only sells dissapointment.

I was going to bother letting people know how poorly run this company is. Seems I’m way behind. Bought my sixth Crapass car yesterday took an hour to crank it was Tdc out of the box. Don’t waste your money on this crud my losi’s are way better and bonus they have customer Service… Did I mention when I factory reset it to get it running it was at least six turns out on the high speed needle. Junk these days they were ok but now not so much.

I recently purchased my traxxas bl2s with high expectations. But quickly realized that it was very very slow with a top speed of only 45 mph.......so I ordered over 400 Benjamin's worth of up grades and after flooring it just every time. And only doing 20 barrel rolls at only 60 mph It was non operable😁😁😁

Jeffery at Traxxas was so helpful. I had a issue that I may have caused and he explained what was going on and quickly offered a solution. I hate wasting my time and he had me off the phone and a solution on the way. Again it was most likely my fault. He went above and beyond to keep us playing.

The customer service was horrible the guy named Chris and sam and c.j all had an attitude. They would not help me and gave me the same thing over and over again I got It less than a month ago and it broke there was nothing good about the website chat so I called and they said that because it was a normal wear and tear item they would not help me. I am never going back for help they should all be fired and never pick the phone up again
TRX4M - steering servo breaks easily
This concerns the TRX4M Bronco - We purchased this instead of a Walmart RC option which was around 1/4 the price. The steering servo broke the day after Christmas. They agreed to replace it. With a limited amount of play it broke again around 2 months later. Traxxas advertises their products as "high-performance hobby-class" models that "operate at a much higher level of performance than a toy". I'm sure it's better in some ways than the "toys" you can buy at Walmart but I expected it to last much longer. I could have replace the Walmart Car 4 times for the same price. My hope is that with feedback from customers like myself they will fix the issue and build a reputation of quality.

I recently bought four Traxxas TRX-4M cars as Christmas gifts, after seeing recommendations for them online. The kids have seem to enjoy them. But after only couple of months I'm concerned about the quality and durability of these products.
On one of the cars, just a couple of days out of the box, the ECM (a major component) was malfunctioning and had to be replaced. I called customer service and was able to easily get through. I confirmed proof of purchase and they sent out a replacement. A week on and another component in that car, a steering servo, failed. So there was another call to customer service and a replacement.
Now, not even two months later, the transmitter for another car has also failed, again, after very little use. I called Traxxas to set up a replacement and they pointed out that the vehicles are no longer under warranty after 30 days and I need to pay to replace their defective product at my own cost. And obviously, without a transmitter to control the car the entire product is useless.
With so many electronics failures in such a short time, I'm now regretting my decision to spend so much money on a company that is happy to take my money but that has so little interest in their quality. Buyer beware.

Traxxas is a company that capitalizes on consumer ideas I have email proof. Then sells you harmful materials like asbestos slipper pads while showing no desire to change it due to laws not making it necessary. Don't buy for yourself,kids, or teens.
Terrible Customer Service
We were trying to find out if our son would like to get into RC cars by purchasing him the La Trax Pre-runner. Christmas morning comes and he opens his truck and can't wait to drive it: So we charge it up and take it to the streets. About 4 mins later, it just stops producing power to the wheels but you can continue to hear the motor whine. With a tear struck in his eyes, he tells me that he had already done something to his brand new toy.
About a week later, I have time to take it apart, and trust me this is no small task. Come to find out, Traxxas forgot to put the set in the motor staff's gear. Today I give them a call and tell them what happened and the guy tells me, we'll get that fixed for ya. We can get you that replacement part shipped right away or you can pack up the hundred parts that you took apart already, ship them back and wait a month to get it back. My son's Christmas present was ruined for a 85 cents part, maybe I can make it up to him with the same truck for next year.
I get it though, I'd imagine a ton of people order cars, destroy them, then want Traxxas to send them a new car. This wasn't the situation though, and I even spent another hour out my day talking to a manager in hopes of resolving this. My idea was maybe I can go back to my son with an upgraded car and tell him that I know it sucks that this happened on Christmas, but check out this even cooler car. I didn't want this for free either, I just wanted some kind of discount on buying a more expensive car. They couldn't even entertain the thought. It saddens me that companies like this have resorted to so much greed they can't even admit when they may have messed up and do something to make it right. Do Better Traxxas!!!
