Dirty rooms
I stayed at the Microtel on Niagara Falls Blvd with my daughter. Although check in is at 3pm we arrived at 6pm and were checked in to room 319 where it appeared someone had a “romantic time” prior to our arrival.
Both beds were disheveled, roses were left behind and the bathroom had clearly been used (towels had been used and it had not been cleaned). Overall it was pretty gross.
When we advised the front desk clerk he didn’t take our word for it and had us wait with our baggage for a new room in the lobby. The internet was not working and the man at the reception counter did little to assist and told us the manager had gone out to do his groceries. We were told he came back for about 5 minutes knew about the issue and left for the night. The location was the only thing this place had going for it but there are plenty of other spots in the area that are probably more family-friendly so I’d avoid this spot.
I have emailed the hotel and have not received a reply.
