What a waste of time. You would be better of writing a note saying no more nuisance calls and sticking it on the nearest tree you would get the same result. Don't bother, get yourself a call blocker.

TPS are useless now
I'm registered - which means they should stop cold call scams from 01215310642 (Birmingham) but they don't.
I decide to "help them" by reporting the incident ... so they collect details of the call and all my personal information then at the "submit" point say I'm giving them permission to pass these details to the caller.
So rather that stopping cold call scams they're intending give my address and email to the crooks.
It would be interesting to know whos earning a living at TPS.

SCAMMERS - BEWARE
A few weeks after signing up I'm getting calls from India trying to get me to hand over my debit card information to block sales calls from abroad - this is very dangerous and could fool people easily as they quote my full name & address and fact that I registered a few weeks ago ! This can't be GDPR compliant and needs serious investigation.
DO NOT GO NEAR THIS WEBSITE. NOT SURE HOW THIS HASN'T BEEN SHUT DOWN ALREADY!

Been on for years - but little difference.
Been on for years - certainly more than a decade and we still get many such calls a day. Either TPS are useless or their definition of nuisance is highly limited/selective. A few days ago had three such calls within about ten minutes. Now the phone is disconnected during the day and just use mobiles. Even their my address book entry "scam" has many many telephone numbers.

TPS = Toothless Pathetic Service.
I registered my home telephone with the TPS a long while ago, but every day I get unwanted calls. Some are just nuisance calls, but several are without doubt scam attempts.
The TPS cannot do much about the nuisance/scam calls that seem to originate from centres outside the UK, but there are far too many unwanted calls from UK numbers. The TPS just does not enforce any sanction against these organisations. Without sanctions the service is useless.
