I placed an order on Saturday as the offers available were excellent compared to other stores/sites. I was updated by email to say my order had been processed. I paid for my order to be dispatched on Monday which didn't happen unfortunately. That's when saw the poor reviews on here which made me very worried! I had no contact from the company with any further updates after my order had been processed. I then decided to contact customer services on Tuesday who were very prompt in responding and had my items dispatched via royal mail 48 (although should have sent my order via royalmail 24). Everything arrived well packaged and in excellent condition by Thursday. I was also sent regular updates after my items were dispatched. Overall I would order again but worry about dispatch times and that I'll need to chase up my order via customer services again, who I can only hope will be prompt in their response time as they were for me on this occasion.

Just wanted to put a review on as there were quite a few bad reviews.
I nearly didn’t place the order, but decided I would try as there were quite a few bargains to be had, glad to say I’m happy I did, I was kept update throughout and parcel arrived within 4 days 😊 great service

After placing my order I then saw all the bad reviews, and needless to say, I was worried. However (and I can only describe my own experience), I was pleasantly surprised. I placed my order with a 24 hour tracking service. My order was in a large box, yet despite this the cost of postage was £5.99, which is remarkably cheap.

My order was despatched on the day as promised, but actually took 48 hours to arrive. Although I was disappointed, the tracking history proved that his delay was was down to Royal Mail, and not the fault of Toys R Us.

The reason I'm only giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the way the order was packaged. The actual item wasn't damaged, but it was inside a much larger box with no packing material to protect it while in transit. Luckily the order arrived in perfect condition, but without the correct packaging it could easily have gotten damaged. Apart from that however, no complaints.

I gave them a try despite the bad reviews but worst decision ever. Should have kept away. Would not recommend anyone buying from them. Placed my order yesterday, this morning got an email that my order has been cancelled with no explanation. Absolutely shocking and terrible. From a big name like this you’d never expect it. They should have kept their stores closed! They closed for a reason and clearly haven’t sorted the issue out.

Ordered a star wars advent calendar 2 weeks ago. Took the money and thats it. Dont return or correspond to emails, no telephone numbers working. Again and again emails sent no reply. Totaly disgusted. AVOID AVOID AVOID. THIS IS PRACTICALLY LEGAL THEFT. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE CROOKS.

I was concerned looking at the reviews here but Toys R Us UK delivered the products on time, in a good condition and at a reasonable price. I will use them again.

I am so angry that this has been shut down. It was such an amazing experience that I experienced a total of 0 times as I live in the UK. But from reading other reviews I can tell that this place was absolute crap. And very expensive

Yet again TRU UK take an order sit on your cash, sent confirmations emails etc..

Then only when you chase them after a few weeks they just refund the money, no apology email, no reason, just interest earned for them...

Sent me the wrong product. When I returned the item they then told me that my original item was now out of stock. This was a present for my daughter who is now very disappointed. Will never use Toys R Us again. Now reading the other reviews I'm wondering if I'll even get my refund.

Ordered items 1st July, no communication to say there is a delay with the delivery. I had to chase them up via a online form, no contact number either which is pretty poor! My response was due to a "unforseen circumstances" my delivery had not been dispatched. My delivery finally turned up on the 8th July! They advertised you will get your items a lot sooner, and from reading all these other reviews seems like this is normal for Toys R Us. Absolute poor service, will not use them again will stick to the other toy stores that been around since this place shut down many years ago!

Placed an order on Sunday evening, received order confirmation but no further emails- did a general review search and became rather worried upon seeing the level of negative reviews on here. Immediately emailed them and received a response the very next day advising of a slight delay. My order arrived on the eight working day after having placed it-arrived by RM, all items were present and packaged well ( no plastics-all recyclable) in a personalised toys/babies r us box. All the ordered items were in pristine condition and all fully operational. Based on this experience I will be ordering again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I ordered two items from Toy R Us on 30/05/2023. The payment went through immediately. I received an email on 31/05/2023 saying one of the items I ordered, (Paradiso First Slide) was out of stock. I am still waiting for my refund of £49.99 on 03/07/2023.

Why didn't I check the reviews here before I placed my order? I suppose it's a big company and so you wouldn't expect such awful reviews, but like others here, I am waiting for a delivery (birthday next week). Order placed 12 days ago and DHL website still says expected delivery by 20th June - 9 days ago! ToysRUs website says order was processed on 17th June and despite many emails to customer services (they are useless) nothing received and no notifications. I will now have to order the same item from Smyths where I should have gone (or risk disappointing my grandson) as I have no confidence my item will ever arrive from ToysRUS. I will not accept delivery IF it ever comes and I will email customer services notifying them. I will never use ToysRUs again and for a laugh, look at their banner headline - "The world's greatest toy store is back"..... who they kidding? Their fulfilment is an embarrassment, clearly management are incompetent and judging by the reviews here, they refuse to address the many, repeatable issues.
Far from the store being back, feels like we will be saying 'goodbye again!' to ToysRUs UK very soon - and good frankly, good riddance!

Placed my order and paid for express next day delivery. Order just said processed for the next 5 days so I contacted them to then be told they couldn't find out what was going wrong with my order. After several emails trying to get an answer they said they were cancelling most of the order and the refund would be 7-14 working days!! They are saying the rest of the order will be sent by DHL but I'm not keeping my hopes up. They sell stuff that they haven't got, they are awful at getting back to you and now I'm going to have to wait longer than usual to get my money back. Do not trust these people they are not the Toys R Us of old and the way they are now run is a shambles.

Returned an item as it was not as described on the website, they first told me they didn’t receive the return even though the tracking label they provided showed that is had been delivered. They then told me it would be 14 working days until I receive my refund. It has now been 2 months, there’s no contact information and I rarely get a response from the emails so I have now gone through my bank doing a charge back claim but they are also struggling to get a response and they have advised me that they have since tried to TAKE more money from my account which is illegal!! Still waiting for the refund

Ordered 2 items. They arrived poorly packaged and damaged. Returned within a few days, 2 weeks later received an acknowledgment to confirm receipt. However weeks later and I am still waiting for the refund to be issued!! I WOULD NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AS CLEARLY FINANCIAL ISSUES AND THEY DON'T GIVE REFUNDS!!!!!

Returns are a joke. They ask for a photo to be taken of the items being returned and then you have to wait and see if it is accepted. I managed to retun mine over 4 weeks ago but still haven't received a refund. I think the idea behind it is to put you off returning things. I wont be buying from them again no matter what.

Ordered a drone, it arrived as promised but was faulty. Return label received quickly, item returned on the 11th March, it is now the 4th May and still waiting for my refund. Messages from customer services keep blaming their finance team for the delay. It's now been escalated for a 2nd time apparently.

Ordered a birthday present at 10:32am. Paid for next day delivery as ordered before 6pm which is their cut off for next day delivery.
Paid by PayPal and it went through fine, but Toys R Us didn't collect from PayPal until 19.35hrs that evening. Result? Present due to arrive too late for the party.
Shop elsewhere, this is simply disgraceful.

Ordered items for my grandsons birthday, 7 days later I got an email telling me that there is a delay with the delivery! I raised a complaint and I’m still waiting for someone to get in touch!!! Shocking company do NOT use!!!
