U think your buying decent stuff from the UK. In fact, they are a Chinese company with a UK office. Delivery costs £4 -and u have wait up to 3 weeks reach u. Not good enough.
They use wowcher to flog there items. Pretending that the item costs double than it actually is. Bit of a con really!

Ok, well, contrary to all the other reviews my experience has been good.
I ordered a battery for my drill. I was puzzled that I didn’t get an immediate email confirming my order so I looked for reviews and found all the bad ones.
I realised the battery I had ordered was NiMh and I needed a NiCd so I thought I had a perfect excuse to cancel the order. I emailed them and less than 24hrs later I got a response and after a few more emails (with Terry and Garda) they proposed to send me the correct battery and because it was cheaper, refund the £4 difference. I agreed and 2 days later the battery arrived and that same day I got the refund.
I have used the battery pretty much continuously (drilling and screwdriver) for 3 days. It performs and charges normally/well.
So, if you’ve read all the bad reviews you might want to consider my experience. I would purchase from them again.

This is a company in China NOT UK. When you buy from them no invoice is sent and the battery works for a few days if you are lucky. When contacted, the seller sends an Amazon label(even though you didn't purchase from Amazon) for return. Paypal have asked me to return the item to China!! I cannot afford that. So I have lost £25.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dodgy. No dispatch note, no comms, just a phone number in China.
Have open dispute with Paypal.
If you want to avoid hassle buy from somewhere else and check it's a UK company.

Save your money.
I paid for a laptop power supply and didn't receive it.
Asked for money back several times. No response.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Have not delivered my item. Have stopped responding my emails. I am now having to raise a fraud claim via Paypal

STAY AWAY from this company, they make you believe that they are based in the UK when they are based in China, even if your item is listed on their site, it doesn't mean they have it but they will charge you for it and if you lucky you might get your money back if you start a claim with Paypal. DO NOT USE THEM.

Nothing! They (Terry) have stopped responding to my emails

I ordered a battery for my drill, the wrong one turned up, this was mid August. After emailing they asked for the part no. & photo's of original, this was done the same day. I was told they would contact the warehouse and for me to wait for an email. The next contact I was asked to return it & track the delivery, this was done at my cost, I then emailed saying they had received it & asking what the next step was & do they have the correct battery. Another email from me asking do they have the battery I need, eventually I was emailed back telling me they would contact the warehouse & for me to wait for the email. After waiting for 2 weeks I decided I would email again asking what the situation was. No reply, no battery & no refund! I am would never order from them again.

Laptop packed up due to charger failing and then battery went same way. Ordered from these guys and my order was immediately dispatched and as ordered. I explained I needed it for work, they even sent both bits from different warehouses! Excellent customer service!! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Conmen and thieves. The website they use is a front, they just buy the cheapest option from another amazon website. I ordered a Black and Decker battery for a drill, and got a cheap Chinese copy that had terrible reviews. I returned the batteries at their request, and at my cost. I have had no response since. DO NOT USE!!!

I ordered a replacement battery for my laptop.

The product I received ended up only lasting for about 1.5 hours of charge life, which is totally unacceptable for what was supposed to be a new battery. I have 20 years experience in IT and I know that a battery in a brand new laptop will easily give up to 4-5 hours of use before requiring a recharge. (I have since bought a battery from a more reputable UK company and that battery IS giving the expected 4-5 hours of use).

I contacted them on their email (because they give no other means of contact i.e. telephone) and after they tried to "convince" me that 1.5 hours of charge life and I refused such a flimsy excuse I was offered a refund if I returned the battery via courier. I have done this and I have tracking details that the battery was indeed returned on 9th of February.

It took me A MONTH to get my refund - and that was after continuous emails - many of which were left unanswered. I only got a refund for the battery, not for the return shipping that I incurred.

In the meantime, I did a bit of research on my own of this company and have passed this information on the Trading Standards Portsmouth.

They operate under STONE BRIDGE UNITED LTD Company number 07103634. As well as topbatteries.co.uk. They have also been known to operated under EDRESSESGLOBAL Company No. 07838978. LL TRADER LTD Company number 09060313 (on Amazon) and Labato UK Official Store (also on Amazon).

If you are lucky enough to find a phone number for them and call it... you will end up speaking to a person or business wholly unrelated.

This is a very dodgy operation - save yourself the time, money and hassle and don't even deal with them.

I have ordered, received and used successfully 2 LP-E6 batteries as spares for my Canon 5D MkIII camera. Orders were placed 4 weeks apart. Price was really cheap, compared to the Canon branded replacement batteries. Delivery was within 3 days on both occasions. The batteries both charged up in the Canon charger and when used both gave similar life to the Canon original battery that came with the camera.
Whether they will have the same useful life is the only unproven as yet.
My 3 star rating is based on my experience to date.
A friend has had a problem over non-delivery and the phone number is in China!

Bought Replacement Laptop Battery for TOSHIBA on 16 May 2017. Didn't received at all. After so much of email, hassle, and request at last on 31.8.
2017, nearly after 3 and a half month they finally Refund my Money. In website company warehouse shows in Portsmouth but actually, all the shipment comes from China.

DO NOT use this company. They are liars and cheats.
I bought a replacement battery. When it arrived it did not fit the drill despite being sold to fit Bosch.
It took them over a month to eventually agree to refund it. They asked me to return it and they would pay the postage fees.
They do not answer emails and should they bother then it is not to answer your questions.
They have also failed to pay the postage and packing return fees, despite writing that they would.

I received my macbook battery around 2 weeks after ordering. After installation I realised the battery was faulty, coconut battery confirmed this. After emailing the company to complain I was told to send photos and eventually asked to return the battery to their warehouse. I sent via hermes recorded delivery and have now been waiting on a response from topbatteries for almost a month. Several emails to them have resulted in nothing. No response whatsoever. This website is fraudulent! Avoid.

Update, after signalling to PayPal that they had not responded to any of my emails and flagging the transaction as fraudulent the amount I paid for the battery was refunded. No sign of the postage refund I was promised.

If I could give it no stars I would, new Dell battery ordered, waited a week no goods turned up so contacted them via email, Terry replied and said not ordered from them, so double checked and I had, money also taken from credit Card although should be able to get a refund from card company.
.topbatteries is registered to someone in China AVOID

Ordered a replacement Apple laptop battery from this site. It turned up three days later and after installation, it wouldn't charge.
I ran a diagnostic s app to check the battery metadata and it came up with a "Not Charging" situation AND the battery was in fact 6.8 years old and manufactured back in 2010.

OK, Companies can all make mistakes, so I emailed the Company and to my astonishment, I got a reply from a guy called Terry, who claimed the battery was not from them.

I immediately checked my PAYPAL receipt as I hadn't received any paperwork from topBattery.co.uk after the transaction had originally gone through, and the payment had gone to someone in China by the name of HUIZHOUSHIX. I started a complaint through the PAYPAL Resolution Centre and contacted China who asked me to return the battery back to a warehouse in Portsmouth which incidentally was the same address as topbattery.co.uk.

Look further online into this address, there are lots of postings about a VAT Fraud from a Chinese Company called Stonebridge UK LTD so the Topbattery site is possible part of that scam as payment goes directly to China bypassing UK VAT.

Be warned, this site is NOT safe! DO NOT Buy from these people.

PayPal is dragging their heals also in refunding my money, they have now asked me to send the battery back to China, I have told them I haven't got it, it was sent back to Portsmouth on instructions from the Seller, so waiting and waiting to get my money my back after several weeks.

There are also several claims by others online who have sent batteries back to the Portsmouth address and Topbattery.co.uk have claimed never to have received them, luckily I sent mine back by a secure carrier, but I wait to see if they will claim it didn't arrive and keep you posted.
