Timberwise Recenzje

Very quick, friendly and efficient response to my survey request.

Gary came and gave a thorough and honest review of our issues and, rarely in this day and age, didn't try and sell a service that wasn't required. Thanks Gary. We shall make sure all our friends who have need of a damp service will have your details, and in many ways I hope we don't need to have to call you again..;). Well done, and thanks once again.

Nick, Daffyd, Sam and the team worked on damp proofing our cellar kitchen in Bolton. Despite taking longer than estimated, they stuck to their original quote and the quality of work in a difficult space was exemplary. Always on time, and really good at communicating when they’d come, the team were always professional and courteous and were a great hit with the neighbours, despite it being noisy job. Many thanks to all at Timberwise!

We had damp proofing installed by Timberwise. The company was very efficient in arranging a surveyor & organising a date to get the work done. The technician (Carl Austin) carried out the job. He was polite, friendly & explained what the procedure entailed. He was efficient & left the site clean & tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Timeberwise conducted a Wood Worm spray and Joist replacement within my sub-floor. From the initial Survey to the Works, the service provided was professional and of a high standard throughout. The Technicians Stu and Nick did a great job of ensuring the issues were rectified within good time. Also, Timberwise applied a military discount, showing the organisation's decency. Consequently, any service personel requiring these services should consider Timberwise as a first option to get a great service at a decent price.

Great service. External walls damp proofed and one internal wall. Skirting board was removed on internal wall and replaced perfectly. Engineer very friendly and polite - took shoes off when coming into the house.

Very disappointed with the work they've done in my house. They "fixed" the bedrooms walls that had an ugly damp. They guaranteed for 10 years 😅 but after few months they finished their work the damp is back with lots of mould
Thanks a lot "great" company

Friendly, efficient, a good job done.

Survey and quotation completed quickly and arrangements for damp proofing work too. Work undertaken after extensive protection of room contents by helpful staff ( Norman, Richard and plasterer Justin) over 3 days.

so if i have work done on the corner of the house outside with pointing by another firm, are you going to come back & plaster the inside then as its suppose to be under guarentee plus it needs re-doing again after all that is done because no filler or anything has been done the guy basically plastered over a wet wall whats the sense in that?
we didnt employ you to do plastering we employed you do fix the leak, this was not told to me i have autism & was on my own on the day when the survey was done and i can guarentee the guy never told me about pointing or anything he just looked outside, came inside took pictures of the black walls & went away with the quote
i only found out about re-pointing when the actual worker came to do the job & told me after he had plastered so what should of happened is the guy should have told me that i advise us not to go through with this until the outside gets sorted the walls gonna be the same again so basically robbed of 2k thanks alot preying on vulnerable ppl

that bloke who came from another firm never even heard of drytek he had to google it and this is a guy with 0ver 30 years experience plus he said the work done should have cost around 1000 not 1900 so how you can get away with plastering a small part of a wall for nearly 2k i really done know its rediculous no way does that job cost that much pure rip off & conned

Fantastic service from Timberwise from start to finish. From the administration team, surveyor and the tradesmen on site carrying out the works. Would definately recommend.

Graham from the Liverpool branch was very kind and helpful-- carefully explaining the repairs needed, even when they weren't ones that timberwise does. Would definitely use them again.

Timberwise were fantastic. From the initial survey right through to the work being completed.Stuart & Nick were very efficient, fast and did a a great job. Would highly recommend.

Second occasion using Timberwise on another property. Excellent work carried out promptly and efficiently.

Great work by tradesman Steve, took the time to explain everything that he was doing and very happy with the result. Communication from the office team could have been clearer and it took 11 days for us to get our report after chasing a couple of times, rather than the advertised 5-7 days.

Unlike other reviewers we have not been able to get this company to provide simple quote for woodworm treatment. They insist on you paying for a survey first (which we’ve already had) and after asking several times for just a quote they keep pushing the survey. Bit of a scam!

We have used Timberwise South West on about 4 occasions for damp proofing, tanking work and most recently for woodworm treatment. We have always found them extremely professional, reliable and their work is of a very high standard.

In fact on the last couple occasions when we needed some work done, we went straight to Timberwise and did not look at any other company / get any other quotes. I would say their prices are competitive, but probably not the cheapest but then you get what you pay for and Timberwise work comes with a 20 year guarantee.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again / recommend them to someone else.

I had no clue where to begin with the damp issues in my home. I spoke to Lorraine who reassured me that I was doing the right thing and booked me in for a survey I cannot thank Lorraine or Timber wise enough for their help. My call and follow up correspondence have been dealt with empathetically and professionally and I am confident that any work carried out will be dealt with in the same manner. It’s such a relief to finally have some one on my side. Many thanks.

I cant get an answer on the phone to book a survey...

Called Timberwise to look at a patch of rot on basement kitchen skirting board. Contact with Rachel to arrange the survey was prompt and professional. Tim the surveyor assessed the rot and gave excellent advice on how to tackle it. Friendly, professional and no nonsense from start to finish. Thank you Timberwise.
