Terrible kitchen company. Like other reviews state do not purchase from them. Poor quality and all customer service goes out the window once payment is made. Attitude from owner appalling. Threatens legal action against anyone that puts up an honest review that he doesn't like. Google Tierney Kitchens and you will see a recent court case and the outcome.

I would not recommend Tierney Kitchens to anyone, they insist on payment upfront & in full before the installation starts, whilst our installation started on time, the crew that came out botched the job and then disappeared for days which turned into weeks, the kitchen is now practically complete (but almost 3 weeks late), although we are still missing small parts that we paid for, we were told that staff were out sick by Pamela which was causing delays, however other staff members told us Tierney’s had lost a number of experienced fitters in recent weeks and that this was the problem, we complained numerous times to customer service but with little action taken, eventually an experienced fitter who had only just started with Tierney’s came out, however because he had only just started with the company he didn’t have the necessary tools to carry out the work so he was borrowing tools, ladders & chargers from our builder and asked me for my hacksaw, this fitter had to undo practically all the items fitted by the earlier crew which took him days to do on his own he even spent a full Saturday & Sunday trying to resolve issues, I made a complaint addressed to the MD/CEO on the customer service contact us form and I also contacted the CEO/MD on LinkedIn, suffice to say the response was less than satisfactory and perhaps his response to a legitimate complaint explains why the service is so poor.

The only reason I have given one star is because there is no option to give negative stars. Where do I start. First, do NOT buy your kitchen in Tierneys. The worst customer service, the worst quality, the worst follow up.
We got our full kitchen and appliances in 2016. Ever since we got that kitchen, we have had issues. The laminate peeled, hinges break all the time. When you email the customer service email, you do not get a reply. After an ordeal, I got new doors fitted as the original laminate was peeling. However, the new doors were not sleek as they should have been, there were/are visible lines in the laminate. We did get a technician to come out to fix doors falling off, drawers squeaking when opening, after an excruciating drawn out ordeal. However, no sooner were items fixed than they broke again. So, both my young daughter and I have suffered injuries from a tall press door falling off hinges and landing on us; on my going daughter’s collar bone and on the back of my leg. So, we have left the door off. Lovely right?
Do NOT go anywhere near Tierneys.

I ordered our kitchen in October 2024, installation date – early mid-February 2025.
My initial experience was very professional, time was given to view the showroom, chose doors, taps, counter top etc. We received a fantastic image of the kitchen and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
However, 100% payment is due with Tierney’s and once that was paid an unprofessional approach and total disrespect to us was shown.
Delivery of the kitchen arrived – wrong address given. I contacted Tierney’s to ensure the correct address was given for further delivery and workmen – this was not passed on so wrong address for all other deliveries
The fitters did not arrive so the units were in my driveway and delivery man had to return that evening to place them in my hall and kitchen.
This delay had a knock on affect with plumber and electrician.
The big issue started when the cooker did not fit into the space. We wanted an integrated cooker and microwave on top. As requested, once we picked our appliances we sent the code to Tierney’s so they could factor in the size etc. It was NOT flagged on their side that the cooker and microwave would not fit. When I contacted Tierney’s I as told “this is both our faults” and I needed to take part of the responsibility – well sorry – it was 100% your fault when you did not realise the cooker would not fit you should have informed me.
We had a choice - change the cooker or keep the cooker and not have an integrated microwave. I was passed onto Georgina who promised to solve the issue. I expressed disappointment and explained we wanted to keep the oven and as our microwave was old and big – we asked for Tierney’s to replace it with a smaller one and to be compensated over the fact we DID NOT RECEIVE THE KITCHEN WE PAID FOR. We made it clear from the start we wanted, from the fridge to the sink appliance free and we now have a microwave on the counter.
On March 7th I asked for the issue to be raised higher as Georgina felt – as she apologised for the errors and replaced the microwave that all was good. Georgina informed Stephen of the issues.
From March 7th 2025 to today June 18th 2025, I have rung Tierney’s three times to speak to Stephen and emailed him three times and have NOT received a call back to return email. He did (unprofessional as it was) issue a WhatsApp message via Georgina spouting GDPR and the fact we had signed off on the kitchen – we did sign off but the complaint was ongoing at the time and we had no issue with the kitchen (bar the microwave on what should have been an appliance free counter).
It’s not about money – this is about professional manners and customer service and respect. The fact they want 100% of the cost had to be paid upfront meant we had no comeback if errors arose.
I would not recommend Tierney’s Kitchen due to their exceptional poor costumer care approach and total lack of manners to return emails or speak to a costumer.

Would highly recommend Tierney Kitchens, lovely staff Kieran the designer & Damian the project manager were simply brilliant.

From the first moment we walked into Tierney Kitchens showroom we had nothing but a positive experience. We were welcomed by friendly staff at front of house with coffee and toured the beautiful showrooms while we waited for our designer . Joanne brought us up to sit down and discuss our plans and what we wanted . She was just incredible . We were there for over an hour and not only did she give us a design that exceeded our expectations but we felt like friends afterwards. Through changes builders made to our home along the way we had to go back into Tierneys a couple of times and spend more hours changing design plans with Joanne. She gave us something incredible every time and nothing was ever a problem. The lads that fitted our kitchen were experienced and nothing but lovely. Then everything was checked again by the foreman. We had one of the lovely girls from the office come out to our home with flowers candles chocolates and an aftercare package. From start to finish they always accommodated us and made us feel like nothing was a problem. The quality and finish on our kitchen of dreams is top class and I could not recommend Tierneys more. My favourite part of my whole home renovation was designing the kitchen .From our incredible designer Joanne to the lovely ladies at front of house, the kitchen fitters and the foreman. And finally the price we paid seemed too good to be true after getting other quotes from different companies that we expected to come in cheaper but shockingly were more expensive and nowhere near the same standard. We are so happy we chose Tierney kitchens and can’t thank them enough. That is my very honest review of our experience

Got our new kitchen from Tierney's two years ago. Very happy with it. A couple of snags emerged - some drawers didn't fully close and the shelf holding the tumble dryer started to crack (because it was too thin and didn't have support brackets). It took a few months to get this fixed, so needed patience and tenacity to ask for updates and eventually get an appointment for the fixes to be done. But the service was good from Michelle in the office and Ciaran who came out to perform the fixes. Ciaran is professional, customer focused, polite, skillful. He replaced the damaged shelf which was the main problem. He also fixed the drawers and two doors which needed small adjustments. He showed me how to maintain the drawers and keep them moving smoothly on their rails. Overall a 4 rating. Would be 5 if it was done quicker.

Large box van (241 reg) driver an absolute ar5ehole on the M1. Undertaking and overtaking to suit himself. A fine example of the pi55 poor standard of driving on Irish roads these days.

I got a cabinet made for dining room absolutely fantastic job. Terry was fantastic with the design of the cabinet. The fitters were super no problems just came in and left no mess. Fabulous job would highly recommend Tierneys from start to finish no problem. Everyone works together the girls in the office kept me updated about everything on what’s app. Thank you Tierneys very happy

Tierneys have just finished installing my new kitchen. What a great service and experience from start to finish. Terry designed the plan with great detail and great advice. Ciaran, Richie and Aaron did an amazing job installing the kitchen. They were so professionally and easy to work with. Everything was carried out to perfection and we are delighted with the kitchen. I found Ciaran very polite and very professional

Nothing seemed to b a problem for him.
He resolved all my outstanding issues.

So a big thank you to him and the aftercare staff. Especially Tracey.

Tierney Kitchens installed a new kitchen for me in June this year in my house in Robswall Malahide.,They did a top class job. All of the staff were lovely to deal with and the kitchen fitters fantastic. The lady who designed the kitchen Joanne was extremely pleasant and professional . Based on our experience I would highly recommend them.

My experience with Tierney kitchens was quite frustrating at times, and on balance not a positive one. They were very slow to follow up on a number of issues.

There were aspects of the service that I was quite happy with, the initial design appointments were excellent, which is why I decided to go with them. However, they sent out a different person for every visit, so when dealing with things like the snag list, it was like starting the conversation again each time. I was particularly disappointed with how they fitted my worktop. I had sourced it externally and they requested that I sign a waiver because of this. I did so on the understanding that they had agreed to carry out this job because they had staff with the skills to do it well. They did a very poor job, another carpenter who saw it was appalled and advised me that they used the wrong saw, and may have fitted it upside down. They have badly damaged an expensive worktop, which will significantly shorten its life-span, even with the remedial work that I will have to pay at least a further €400 to have carried out. I requested that they make some contribution to this, their initial response was that I had sourced it externally and used external fitters to fit the worktop so it was nothing to do with them, which is incorrect. I replied to advise them that although I sourced it externally, it was one of their staff that fitted it. I sent this reply in August and received no response. I followed up with them at the end of October. They sent someone out to the house at the end of November. He took photos of the worktop and advised me that the manager who was dealing with my complaint would follow up with me. It is now February and I have had no communication from Tierney kitchens. Just to note, I emailed them a week ago to let them know that I would be posting this review, they replied by email to say that they would call me that afternoon to discuss it, but they never called.

I would be very slow to recommend this company. The general impression I got from them is that they value quantity over quality, their work is average, and even sloppy at times. Overall, I don’t think they provide good value for money.
