After 3 months of having recurrent UTIs and being frustrated with the NHS saying that everything was normal, this clinic finally found the cause to be e.coli. I’m very grateful for being able to access this service and having found the cause of my issues.

I never usually leave reviews but have to say that this service stands out from the rest. Not ridiculously overpriced like others, full range of tests, and really clear and speedy.

The test itself arrived very fast, and results were timely.
However, upon receiving results, matters became too confusing and were not helped by the misleading practices of this company.
I was told, despite the website leading me to believe that I would get referred to treatment if I test positive, that I would have to instead go to a GUM clinic or GP to request medication.
I feel very misled in this situation, and it has caused too much hassle to seek treatment - my local GUM clinic doesn’t recognise it as a real condition despite international research proving that it causes long-term fertility issues, and my GP doesn’t know what it is, although they reluctantly agreed that treatment would be necessary.
The reason that I was given by theSTIClinic for not providing treatment is that BASHH guidelines do not recommend a specific treatment for the condition in question, when in reality, online testing providers are under scrutiny for not providing sufficient treatment as per revisited guidelines (from a BASHH statement on behalf of the Bacterial Special Interest Group). As such, rather than assisting me, they have opted to pass off the responsibility to the consumer. And despite continuing to offer the service of vaginal PCR, they state that the bacteria is commensal - so, if it is just a common, harmless bacteria, there’s no reason to offer tests, right?
The guidelines need to be reviewed (especially treatment regimes), and processes changed to allow patients to more easily seek assistance, ESPECIALLY if they are experiencing symptoms. This condition has been physically and psychologically affecting me for years, and it’s upsetting to think that many more people are currently and will continue to go through the same.

I would not recommend this company at all. They were very unhelpful. I purchased a urine test but despite doing the test exactly as I was told the results were not conclusive and despite saying it had grown three organisms they could not tell me what they were and refused to send out another test. I was extremely disappointed and would advise everyone to not waste a lot of money only to get zero results of what I and dealing with. I would never use the company again.
