Filthy pallet - for your disposal - free with order
Chairs came on a filthy old pallet that the company told me to illegally dump
My chair order from The Complete Garden arrived on a filthy old pallet that the company refused to pick up afterwards. I was told to just leave it out on the council verge, because apparently everybody wants one. The Complete Garden did not offer to pay the fine for this encouraged act of illegal dumping. The chairs themselves look cheap. Dodgy paint work, visible soldering. I guess you get what you pay for. And sometimes you get what you don’t pay for. So the message is: buyer beware. These people take no responsibility for what they do. You might think you're buying furniture that is competitively priced with other cheap products from the same kind of origin, but when you factor in the cost of the trip to the dump to get rid of the pallets they can no longer use, the whole thing becomes an expensive hassle.
Filthy old pallet anyone?
